| -- A video of Shad Gaspard participating in mixed martial arts training surfaced online the day after it was announced that he had been released by WWE. A source close to Gaspard says the former Cryme Tyme member has friends in MMA and predicted before the video surfaced that he would attempt to launch a career in the sport.
-- It is said that Alex Riley's on-air association with The Miz saved him from being let go following his arrest for driving under the influence last Wednesday in Tampa, Florida. He was said to be pretty nervous for several days, however. WWE did not officially announce any punishment and he worked the Survivor Series pay-per-view and Monday's Raw.
- AAA star Zorro from Mexico confirmed with MiLuchaLibre that he has been offered a two-year contract by TNA. AAA has gave him their blessing to accept the deal that will allow him to continue to work in Mexico for them.
-- Rhino is believed to be working on a nightly deal with TNA Wrestling. He was telling people at Turning Point that he had yet to receive a contract offer from the company.
One TNA source noted that the company had originally intended to part ways with Rhino when his contract expired, but he's staying put for the time being due to his current program with Rob Van Dam. However, the belief amongst many in the organization is that he will be gone once the storyline concludes.
-- Bruce Prichard, who recently joined TNA Wrestling, has not been involved in creative or agents meetings. Rather, he produces pre-taped segments. He has kept a low profile since joining the organization a few weeks ago, but a number of wrestlers and personnel are said to leery of him due to his reputation for playing political games in WWE.
- While Kurt Angle has been pushing for TNA to bring in former WWE Superstars Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, it doesn't look like they will be coming in.
There's a feeling that unless it's someone like Mickie James or Matt Hardy, a top star they feel that WWE made, it's going to be difficult for any of the released WWE talents to get hired.
No word yet if TNA is talking to any of the former WWE Superstars or Divas that were fired last week but it's likely that none of them will be brought in any time soon or even when their non-compete clauses expire with WWE.

| MCMG against The World's greatest tag team would be good to see and would also give the tag team division in TNA a boost. | |
