Stand Up For WWE may be Illegal, "Ladies Man" Daniel Bryan, R-Truths new music

Connecticut Democratic State party spokeswoman Kate Hansen attacked WWE on Tuesday for “Stand Up for WWE” campaign that launched The Democratic party, who are currently campaigning against Linda McMahon’s bid for the United States senate, claim the campaign is an “illegal coordination” to get more people to vote for Linda McMahon. Hansen told CQ Politics:

“Linda McMahon’s $50 million attack machine now has corporate reinforcements, thanks to the ‘Stand up for WWE’ campaign launched by her husband Vince McMahon. No coincidence, it looks a lot like her political campaign… except this one is probably against the law,” reads a statement from the state party that refers to federal election law that prohibits corporations from coordinating with political campaigns.

Hansen added, ““Linda McMahon’s claim that her husband’s aggressive public relations campaign is independent of her own political campaign is unbelievable, particularly after Vince McMahon specifically cites the Senate race as the reason for the offensive.”

WWE Spokesperson Robert Zimmerman defended the company’s intention of the Stand Up campaign, saying, “It had absolutely nothing to do with the Linda McMahon campaign. It’s trying to correct inaccuracies that have been reported. … The attention that’s been put on WWE by Linda’s opponents have focused media attention on the company.”

Linda spokesman Ed Patru said her Senate campaign is not involved in WWE’s new campaign. He said, “The company didn’t consult the campaign; we didn’t ask for anything. It acted independently. You should address questions about that to WWE.”

WWE spokesman Robert Zimmerman told CT News that the upcoming Fan Appreciation Night in Hartford, Connecticut was a response to what the media and Linda’s opponents have been saying about WWE. He told the website, “WWE wanted to thank our fans for the support and putting up with everything that’s been said about the company and sticking by us and putting on a fan appreciation show.”

- The reason WWE played R-Truth’s video package on RAW yesterday was because the company are aware that his new song is not nearly as over like his original, and they want to change that by trying to teach people the lyrics so they will sing along to it.

- Although it was implied on RAW last night, the plan as of today was for Tyson Kidd not to turn heel.

- Last night may have not been the last of Daniel Bryan “The Ladies Man.”

They are saying its illegal for WWE to help Linda, but her opponents are using it (against her) aswell.

I dont really understand all that because obviously I dont know the laws over that kind of thing but im presuming that its ok as they are only referring to it instead of actually using it as a means of promotion and to get votes.

Sounds like it. Personally I thought it was hilarious and hes good at comedy, as he did some comedy spots in his ROH matches and they were always brilliant so I think it could help him to get over even more.

Sounds like Linda's opponents are getting upset because WWE are correcting the innacuracies which is leaving Linda's political opponents to try and beat Linda by atcual politics as opposed to mud slinging

Also all WWE are doing is telling fans to stand up against the media innacuracies and they have in no direct way said "vote for Linda" so this just seems like a bunch of mard arses moaning because the mud they are slinging ain't sticking.

Over here during an election the media have to be unbias, eg invite both sides to discussions/debates or an interview with a politican you would need to invite their opponent etc so it might be a similar thing.

That and undisclosed funding issues.

Hopefully wwe will realise its R Truth as well as his music thats the problem.

If thats the case how do the Sun Newspaper and the BBC get away with there blatant bias?

it is bias but it's not slandering etc to the extent of the US, over here they more promote the party they support and their actions.
