| Jeremy Borash posted the following on his Twitter after the No Surrender PPV… With Kurt Angle right now backstage. He suffered a dislocated rib on the @JEFFHARDYBRAND swanton to the floor. The amazing Dr. Tim Adair, who works for TNA backstage, has put Kurt's rib back in place. Angle says he is good to go. What a machine. Borash also posted a photo of Kurt backstage with an ice pack on his ribs. | |

| CONTAINS SPOILER FOR THE PPV- Spoiler:
Jeff Hardy vs Kurt Angle ended in a no contest obviously to make it so that Kurt Angle doesn't have to quit and Jeff Hardy doesn't have to lose to someone who is not also favoured by TNA like him (RVD), so whats the betting that the above picture is made up by TNA to claim Kurt is injured so he can forfeit the match to Jeff, so that Jeff doesn't lose and Kurt doesn't have to quit?
Sorry but I wouldn't put it past TNA to do this, after all we have RVD forfeiting the title even though he's back next week (I thought they have a 30 day title defense rule in these wrestling shows) and with the "V.I.P Rockstar treatment" that Jeff and RVD have been getting in TNA, I can see this happening... sorry I hate to be insensitive, but anyone can pose for a photo with an ice pack on there stomach.

This was the first wrestling PPV iv watched in months and I'm not going to go into what I thought of it here but the only thing I could think of was A) why, is there even a time limit in a number one contenders match in the first place, and B) when Eric came down and said "there has to be a winner", did he add another 5mins to the clock(and then another)?? surely if "they have too have a winner" then he just lets them keep going until, you know......there is actually a winner I agree Worthy, it was done simply not to have Hardy lose. By the way, how lardass has Jeff got over the past few months, jesus. | |

I think the ending of Hardy/Angle will now lead to anderson vs hardy vs angle @ BFG and Angle wont win but he wont be pinned so he can stay on in tna without the title

Surly a better way of doing that would off been to have Kennedy/Pope go on first, have Kennedy win(as he did), then have Angle/Hardy have a sweet ass 30/35min match that ends with a pissed off Pope going fking mental with a chair or something and killing both guys, leading to a no contest. Making ALL 4 guys look good.
I know you don't really want to end a PPV that way, but still, the time limit thing was ridiculous .

I think the ending to the Angle/Hardy match was brilliant, Kurt Angle can't lose because of the idiotic corner they've booked themselves into with the whole "If I lose I'll quit" motto Angle is doing, so having the match end like this after an epic match makes both of these guys look badass, it stops Angle from losing and it gets someone else in the final (Hardy) to take the fall for Ken Anderson.
From what I've read, the plans are for TNA to put the World Title on Anderson for his first ever World Title reign, they want to do that at their biggest PPV Bound For Glory, so they had to have him win his match, doing so last leaves the lasting impression of him finishing a PPV as a winner leading into BFG, so I'd expect Anderson to pin Hardy at BFG, Angle doesn't techincally lose so he doesn't need to retire and RVD comes back, Angle can go back to climbing up the rankings, Anderson goes over RVD and can then enter into a feud over the title with Angle

Don't you think they WAY it was done though was fking stupid? A time limit draw even after Bischoff said twice "their must be a winner. makes no sense to have a time limit on a number 1 contenders match in the first place.

Yeah I can see why you'd think that, but when Bischoff said that both of them where healthy enough, the cut Angle got was a really deep cut and it was for me more than conceivable that a cut like that could stop a match, what I'd say to that though is if Angle isn't allowed to continue then that would hardly be Jeff Hardy's fault, so on that thought I'd want to know why Jeff wasn't the winner, I think it ended as best as it could

While I have no problem with them booking a no contest, I did think that they should have just ended it after the initial time limit expired, it was a really good match, but after that point it seemed really obvious that we wouldn't get a winner so the 10 minutes of overtime killed it a bit.
Having the Anderson vs Dinero match on last didn't really work after the Angle vs hardy match, as the crowd really seemed burned out from that match and the main event ended up looking kinda shit as a result.
