UFC 116: Lesnar Vs Carwin

So Lesnar returns tonight in what is being billed as the "biggest title fight in UFC history (again)"...

He's fighting Shane Carwin who looks like an absolute beast and I reckon he'll win, don't think Lesnar will be able to get him down, especially after such a long lay off.

Watch out for George Sotiropoulos too, he looked well good in his last couple of fights.

Tough one this because it depends on how the fight works out as Brock is a ground and pounder whilst Shane is a stand up and strike type of guy.

My money is on Shane because Brock is coming back from a serious operation and has lost alot of weight, whilst Shane Carwin has won all his matches by KO/TKO and none of his fights has gone past the first round, so unless Brock takes it to the ground straight away and keeps Shane grounded all the way through, I can see Shane Carwin winning by TKO.

i think brock will lose as in interviews he looks scared or nervous for onca and his health and the other guy is just as much of a freak as him

I see Lesnar winning this. I just think Lesnar once he grounds Shane, he can then get enough punches in to do some serious damage and win by TKO

Thing is, Carwin is still a good wrestler, enough so to protect himself I reckon.

Brock's stand-up however is pretty average especially compared to Carwin.

Lesnar to win for me, despite any health issues he's had, since he's been given the ok he will have been training as long as possible and as hard as possible to be back to 100%

dont know what time it starts sometimes its like 5am fuck that

3am, preliminary fights probably around 2am so the main event is probably 5ish.
