So now he is liverpool manager how quickly will he be nabbing old brede hangeland from fulham?

sure his first line of duty will be sort out defence and its organisation and im sure hangeland would want to play for a big club and under a boss he knows right?

could be a perfect fit really.

hodgson also has offered dagleish a role within the club

he was always going to join them as soon as rafa went. i do think his first signing will be hangeland which annoys me because i was hoping we could snap him up but now looks like we have to sign the tall german defender.

i do think he will have a good season at liverpool think he will win the europa league and get them back into the champions league

Don't think Benayoun will be here next season, looks almost certain that he's off to Chelski.

I'm hoping he just sorts the team out, he's good at getting the best out of poor players, so hopefully that helps with people like Babel.

Don't think we really need Hangeland, we have Carragher, Skrtel and Agger who are all decent defenders and I reckon Hangeland could cost up to like £10 million.

I agree with Sexton. If Agger stays injury free then he should be 1st choice and Haangeland is a must signing for liverpool.

A transfer budject of £15 million TOPS.

More important positions to get:

A decent striker
Cover for right back.
An experienced left back.
An attacking midfielder (if Benayoun goes)
A left mid (if Babel goes, I think he should if we can get around 7 mil)

Benayoun will bring in 5-6million, same as Babel. so thats 25 million (including the 15million you say you have). So the two sales will get Hangelaand. I can see Paul Konshesky signing for you's also.

I still don't think bringing in Hangeland is a priority, a striker, a left back and a right back are all more important, and then I would say strengthening our midfield, particuarly out wide is again more important than a centre back who is incredibly overpriced.

So you are basically saying you need a new team apart from your goal keeper???

No, I'm saying getting a player in those positions would be more important than spending too much on Hangeland.

you have spent 18 million on a right back. Behave leak you aint getting a right back lol.

And yet we have nobody else to play in that position other than Carragher, we need somebody to cover right back.
