Yes they do aslong as the race has a certain amount of horses (I think it's over 12 to get 1st, 2nd or 3rd?) and the National has more horses so you can have 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th. | |

| Also, another thing while i'm 'at school' on betting. say I put £1 on a footy game. say sunderland to win, and the odds were 10/3. how does that work out. I understand if the odds are (x)/1 but (x)/2, (x)/3 etc. I dont understand how to work out the odds when the right hand number is greater that one. | |

| Just divide 10 by 3 (that's all the / means really).
Or look at it as putting £3 on, you get £10 back.
It's just a way to get more variation between odds, a lot of European countries just have decimal odds. So I think 10/3 would actually be 4.33/1.
Anyway, if all else fails...
