- While the dinner in New York between Brother Ray of Team 3D, Taz, Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer seemed like just a meeting of friends, it sounds like there may be more to it. Sources report that Taz and Brother Ray have pitched the idea to TNA officials of bringing in Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer to do a feud with former ECW stars vs. the newly re-formed Wolfpac. It’s being planned to have Sting join the Wolfpac with Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman soon.

| All these ideas do sound kinda interesting but they seem to be going a bit over the top on nostalgia.
Maybe you can get the Wolfpac back together, still be a shadow of what was though, so will all the old ECW fellas (I shudder to think what state the Sandman's gonna be in).
Looks to me like their going for too many short-term thrills.

I don't think they'll be able to call it Team ECW or anything, will probably call it Team Extreme or something, but wouldn't WWE hold the copyright to that as well?

| There was previously a group of ECW wrestlers in TNA called Team Extreme which eventually became Extreme Revolution, not sure if the change was because of copyrights or anything.
Wouldn't really want to see any of those guys back though. Well except Heyman, but only if he was given free reign as a booker which isn't likely to happen unless Hogan gets pissed off and fires Russo.

| Well i've just watched TNA Impact now and it seems like the old ECW crowd has turned up as they were randomily chanting RVD throughout and they were singing along with the RVD entrance music (one bloke was even doing the 'danna na' part in between as he was going 'danna na na, Rob Van Dam danna na na, the whole f'n show' lol!!).
BTW Gunman there was a team in ECW called team Extreme which had RVD, Tommy Dreamer and I can't remember the other two (I think it was Jerry Lynn and Sandman).
