He doesn't make subs until the 70th minute at least (when most of the time we're already 1 down.) When he makes subs they're the wrong ones e.g today he took of elliot and sno who were playing well but left his son on who is utter shite every game and not good enough for the championship. He plays players out of position. Skuse right back, Sno left mid etc. He just seem to do what the other 15,000 in the stadium can all see is the right thing to do. Today he swapped both centre backs to nytanga and fontaine instead of carey and mccoombe (who is a league 1 player at best). If thats what he thinks is wrong with the team then he's wrong. We have 1 winger at the club, and he is a bench warmer. We play 4 centre mids. It doesn't work. We have a brilliant youth team but none of the younf players ever get a chance. Even last season the last game we had nothing to lose and nothing to gain yet he didn't try out any youth players. He better bring in some wingers in january or we're in danger of relegation this season.

he did say he would moon in a shop window if Liam Fontaine ever scored but when Fontaine scored complications arose with public indecency or something so he did soccer am's take one for the team

He said he would moon Burtons lol. Soccer AM used to check if he scored every week but when they stopped doing it the week after Liam scored and the week after he scored again lol

oh and on subs, Gradi never makes well timed or well thought out subs.


we'd be losing and he'd wait untill 80 minutes to put on a a centre mid or somthing to change it up lol.

and he always waited untill we were 2 down before changing it, and usually after the oppo has worked us out, put on there subs to get the 2nd goal. we never lead the way or combat other teams subs but oh well.

he is the man who was againt subs ever being introduced into football, I guess some people never change. "the team you pick should be capable of winning the game" yes dario, but somtimes they are not so change it lol.

Have to say Johnson got it spot on last night. Dropped his son to the bench played amuse and hartley in the centre sproule on right sno left and bought Orr back in at right back. Absolutely brilliant but we still need a left winger. Awesome goals last nigt first two were goal of the season contenders.

Irvine does the same at North End. Never makes substitutions until around 10-15 minutes to go unless he really has to. Apart from that he's done a pretty good job so far so I can't really complain much.

Shroom at the end of season we released Chris Weale (now at Leicester) as he was at the end of his contract, however Basso then came out and said he wanted more money in his contract needless to say Johnson was none too happy about this having just given Weale away on a free, seems as though Basso thought that with no replacement Johnson would trust City would pay the extra money to ensure Basso was still in goal. However Johnson went with Gerken (our newly signed keeper at that point) and Gerken was brilliant in goal and it blew up in Basso's face because we had a keeper as good as if not better then Basso so he was reduced to the bench and has refused every contract offer since and will leave in january or end of season

I've had a soft spot for City since I went down there on the last day of the season a couple of years ago. We got hammered 3-0 as we'd already escaped relegation but had a great laugh with the Bristol fans in the Robins Bar (I think) before the game and had a chat with a few up here this season Good lads all round!

he doesn't need to come for crosses we have 2 big headed cbs. He saved 2 pennos in 1 game that we won and is a hot head which is always good for entertainment.

abit off the subject but i'm a cov city fan and there's rumours that we are after bristols keeper if we sell westwood, thinks his name is basso? is he any good? also we got mcindoe off you and hes shit, i can see why johnson wanted rid of him.

Macca was actaually a decent player if played right however Johnson wanted to switch to a new formation which Macca wouldnt likely feature in, lost his way a bit last season though.

Basso is a brilliant shot stopper, although seems like he will find himself in deep shit with some of the stuff he tries and makes the odd howler, getting on a bit but would be a free transfer

nice one, i know we are also looking at joe murphy as well, the trouble with mcindoe is he doesnt seem to be able to take anyone on and gets pushed off the ball to easy.

first year we were in the championship all he did was take people on but Johnson worked it out of him, he also drifted from the wing and was too often walking around the CM area
