Jim Ross Considering TNA?

didnt see that coming thought the WWE would have given him a contract by now that would be big for TNA if he joined if he goes TNA mike the 5 second delay tenay will be off the commentary and will been given a job like Don West

Grew up listening to Jim commentate on some great matches in WCW and then onto WWF, woudl love to have him on TNA.

Would hope that the change of scenery would reignite the fire in him!

Doubt it will happen but you never know!

In my opinion JR has lost his enthusiasm for wwe and I won't be too surprised to see JR in TNA

Even before that though. He was immense now he is boring and i feel he isn't happy with the product. He doesn't mark out anymore like he used to

Jim Ross is at his best when he's annoyed. Paul Heyman and him were awesome, Heyman got JR so wound up, it was incredible. Now alongside Grisham, he just doesn't care. I reckon he's finally got fed up with all of Vince's crap, and either wants to retire (unlikely), or go somewhere more peaceful.

And it'd be one hell of a capture for TNA - would really fuck up Vince too, JR is still WWE's best commentator.

I'd like to see JR go to TNA, can't see it happening though, also, I don't blame JR or any of his partners for the way he commentates, its obvious with all of the WWE shows now that the announcers are told to say less and let the picture tell its own story, its not my cup of tea but thats the direction they are going with

Hope he doesn't go, I reckon him and Grisham make a good team on SmackDown.

I find JR and Grisham really boring together. Mind you, the King is just as bad as well

right, he IS shit now which is true, but if he was commentating on TNA it would show a they have great pulling power.

he may even perk up a bit if he moved so it might be good for everyone.

of course he cud just be politicing his way back onto raw lol

On Bob Barker: I'm still amazed at how well Bob Barker handled his role on LIVE TV Monday night especially considering that the TV legend is in his mid 80's. Mr. Barker has to be considered on of the best guest hosts that Monday Night Raw has featured.

On Trish Stratus: What will Trish Stratus' role entail in her hometown Monday night in Toronto? She will undoubtedly be the "hottest" guest host to date...no pun intended....the talented 7 time WWE Women's Champion is a happily married lady.

On Shelton Benjamin: It looks like Shelton Benjamin is working his way back to being a fan favorite. I could be wrong but that's what it seems to me. I still think Benjamin can be special with the right presentation because athletes like him don't come along too often. Plus, Shelton is one of the most engaging and entertaining guys on any roster in the locker room. If that talent can be transferred to in front of the camera, and I think it can, the WWE can mine some valuable minerals from the Gold Standard.

On Chris Jericho: How good is Chris Jericho? Is any performer in the business better at this point in time? Jericho's interaction with Barker and then his match with MVP Monday was exemplary.

On broadcasting for Sunday: I do not know what Todd Grisham and my assignments for Sunday in Montreal, a great city by the way, love those smoked meat sandwiches, other than we will call Kane-Khali, Punk-Undertaker and "possibly" the Jericho/Show vs. MVP/Mark Henry tag bout. Who broadcasts the tag is still up in the air as I understand it. With Raw being WWE's top, TV priority and brand from a corporate positioning standpoint, Cole and Lawler might get the bulk of the work in Quebec.

On going to TNA Wrestling: It's just more gossip. I am of the mindset that I will end my career in WWE.

Sorry to kind of change the direction of this thread but am i the only one who hates JR/Grisham partnership?

i'll be honest, I only hate Grisham.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I like the JR/Grisham partnership. I don't mind Cole/King on RAW either although I prefer JR/Grisham. Grisham does come out with some funny one liners (can't quote any of them but they made me laugh at the time). Saying this, JR sounds miserable most of the time IMO. I'd much rather commentate on SmackDown at the moment than RAW.

Would you rather call a Edge vs Chris Jericho match or Rey vs John Morrison or pretend to laugh at Santino playing the Price Is Right?
