According to sources, TNA Creative team member Wayne Cowan (former wrestler Dutch Mantel) and TNA Agent Savio Vega have been released by TNA.

Dutch Mantel was very close to Jeff Jarrett. He had been with TNA since 2003. His departure leaves the creative team without a veteran 'wrestling mind'. This is a big departure for sure.

Savio Vega was brought in as an agent last year after Scott D'Amore's departure and had been working closely with the Knockouts. He was very close with Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel as well.

There are many who are questioning Jeff Jarrett's status with the company as well. These are both huge shakeups within TNA.

Well, are we to take this as that Carter has indeed bought out Jeff Jarrett and is starting to take control of how she wants TNA to be? I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more backstage firings, and some new staff being hired over the next few weeks now.

Hopefully Russo's next. If he leaves TNA will improve.

I think with Russo gone it'd mean that there'd be some change in booking. However, I know that most of TNA is booked several months in advance, so whether they stuck to the current booking would be interesting.

Who'd take over from Russo as head writer do you think?

im hopin that Jarrets boys will be fired, cause only then, will TNA start havin a show i can watch all the way through. Also if they have decent writers

I think there's some of Jarretts boys that will stay, but rumour is that if someone in Carter's 'inside circle' has a bad word about someone that JJ liked, they could well be looking for work.
I reckon Don West will keep his job for a while as they'll want to play out this Taz as a manager/advisor role first. But after that I could see West being put as a backstage guy.
