| Watched the last bit early on this mornin, still live Have to say the ladder match looked quite tasty, think Jeff Hardy gets a tough time cos he's a charismatic as a carrot, but he puts on some (relatively anyway) tasty matches. Not sure about Punk cashing in though, suppose they couldn't have the strap on Hardy with him possibly leaving and all that, but still a bit harsh. Reminded me of when Hogan came in and knacked Yokozuna after a Wrestlemania main event match with Bret, but at least Yokozuna was the heel. | |

| Well it was another very high standard PPV from the WWE last night, must say though, disappointed with some of the title changes
Thought the match of the night was a coin toss between Jericho/Mysterio and Edge/Hardy, fantastic ending to both matches, really excellently done and very well put together
I also thought the opener of the night was a good solid match that set the ball rolling for a good all round PPV, Kofi is getting better and looks more confident by the week
CM Punk and Umaga worked their match well too, I wasn't really into it as their wasn't much at stake and Punk went over Umaga on SD on Friday, so didn't get that at all, Umaga looked good though, the match type didn't suit either of them to be honest
Wasn't happy with Dreamer winning the ECW title, I think he is awful and really terrible, would rather see Swagger win it, at least that way we would still be guarneteed good PPV matches and good main event matches from the Champ, Christian will hopefully get it back ASAP either on ECW or Superstars this week, unless this is the set up for him to jump ship to SD!
Vickie/Santina was predictably terrible, thankfully it didn't last long, didn't get it at all though and it was nothing like the only other Hog Pen match I've ever saw
Batista won the WWE title, not got a clue why as he is reportedly injured and will be going in for an Operation tomorrow, thats why they kept the match short, got no clue why they didn't just keep the title on Orton though and have him 'injuring' Batista last night, would have been much better!
Big Show tapping to Cena was totally unrealistic and illegal, Cena couldn't get his legs around Show's so he tried to hook him up on the ropes then applied a Submission which in turn should have seen the referee call for a rope break, made little sense at all
Great ending to the WHC ladder match with Jeff Hardy Crucifying Edge, it looked great with Hardy looking down at his long time rival and defeater, a great moment just clinching the title looking down at him, Edge's reaction was perfect too, great watch!
CM Punk cashing in the MitB, not so sure about what this means, like him or not you felt for Jeff, he had just been apart of a fantastic match, some great timing as well as big spots, Jeff is certainly a 'trustee' now inside the ring as well as doing his spots I was wondering if this was his 'thanks' from the WWE, another World Title to his name, although his actual in ring time as World Champ will look embarrassing, about 25 minutes of ring time from two world title reigns
Anyway, I'm really hoping this is the beginning of a CM Punk heel turn

Someone starts a topic and you reply about the topic, it isn't hard. And it's a wrestling forum where you watch wrestling

What do you mean "you don't know what to post?" And if you even attempt to post thanks on any thread on this section it will be deleted as soon as possible! You need to contribute to the board, if you replied to the numerous PM's I sent you ages ago you would understand that, simply join in the topics of discussion! Its not rocket science!

| I enjoyed the matches at Extreme rules but i'm not so sure about some of the results though like Batista winning how he got another title reign i'll never know maybe he's been applying HHH's oil for him. I was glad to see Dreamer win as i'm a big fan of the original ECW and always liked Tommy. Jericho and Rey look set for a title vs mask at The Bash(not sure why it's been shortened)Did anyone else see when Jericho first tried to take off rey's mask that his face was actually exposed? Cena vs Big Show in one word boring. Kofi put on another great performance in the fatal four way match. Punk and Umaga had a decent match although not as good as their match on SD. Edge and Hardy put on a great match and it looks like Jeff taking a break has been confirmed.Punk could be turning heel while i think he'll feud with a face Edge. | |

| The "Don't touch me!" was hillarious like when he faced R-Truth on Smackdown and every time he had him in a submission he kept on shouting "Ask him! Ask him what's up!" | |

Didn't you watch the whole match? Several times they tried getting rope breaks but the commentators said that in a submission match there are no rope breaks.

| I started off writing a cracking review, then came the Hogpen, then the cage, then the Superman match, by that time I just couldn't be arsed, shame too, the Ladder match would have been cracking to write about... | |

| Tommy Dreamer FTW!
Was reading a review of it, sounded like a decent show. Was ready to get pissed off and stop watching Smackdown again when Hardly won the belt. Thank fuck for CM Punk, not much of a fan of his but at least he's decent enough to keep me watching.
They unmasked Rey though? Did Vince learn nothing from WCWs mistakes? Sounds like they had him cover his face though, so hopefully he'll be masked again come SD.

| I thought most of the matches were excellent, the two obvious bad ones were the cage match and Cena/Big Show. Also I sky plused it and didn't watch the hog pen match, don't even care what happened.
The US Title match was very good, very impressed with MVP and Kofi, Matt was unfortunaly limited still but WWE have obviously got plans for him by keeping him on tv etc. Regal was good as usual. That is probably the best belly to belly suplex I have seen MVP do, usually they look all botched and horrible but that one was very good, think it was mainly due to Kofi's selling though. Not suprised by the result and glad Kofi keeps the championship and MVP can move on.
The Jericho/Mysterio match was very good, I definatly expected more use of weapons, loved the Mysterio flip over the steps, loved it on Smackdown too. Was suprised by the result, not sure about Jericho being Interconential Champion however. Mysterio's unmasking was done well.
The ECW Title match was very good, even quite impressed with Dreamer, partly because I thought that he was doing big spots because it would be his last match. Very dissapointed he won, Christian and Swagger are much better champions, if Christian moves and Dreamer stays champion I can see ECW going downhill from here.
The cage match was very short, hate the fact that these days you can pin and escape through the door, completly ruins cage matches. Annoyed with the result, now I don't like Orton but Raw certainly won't get any better with Batista fronting it.
Submission matches are generally for techincal wrestlers, and they work quite well that way, but Big Show and Cena are no way near technical wrestlers. The rope STF didn't work, you saw his leg fall out of the rope straight away, hence why the camera angle didn't show it again, didn't make any sense either why Big Show took like no damage during the match yet tapped.
Ooops, forgot about the Umaga/Punk match. Althought it's not a very good concept, and they are tied together by a rope, I think they did quite well in the match. Both impressed me, confused at first about Punk winning, especailly since he went over Umaga on Smackdown already, but it made sense later on in the night.
I thought the ladder match was match of the night, both were brilliant, some of the spots spectacular. The one where the ladder they were on fell into the other ladder was brilliant, even though I think it was botched. I think the ladder they were on was supposed to take most of the impact but Jeff put it to far away so they hit the ladder instead. Loved the ending with Edge having to watch Jeff win, caught in the ladder. I was dissapointed that Jeff won, I thought we were going to see a long title run from Edge, but then marked out when Punk's music hit.
The best thing to come out of this is Punk is world champion and judging by the fact most of the crowd were booing him, a heel Punk. I am a big CM Punk fan, and although I think it's stupid that Jeff Hardy had a 10 minute title reign or whatever it is, I'm glad Punk is champion and hope he can have a better title reign than last time, and be the focal point of Smackdown.
Overall I would give it a 7/10 but only because of the cage match and the submission match, and the fact that the hog pen match took up so much time in the show.

| The unmasking was brilliant, the way it was done was totally out the blue and didn't make Rey look weak at all, he basically threw the match to not let his face be revealed, really well written, I'd expect Mysterio to keep the mask
As for Jeff, he is one of the best workers on SD, like him or not it can't be denied, I'll be happy if he does get a title run some time, his match quality more than deserves it!

| That's what I'm hoping, the fans seemed to totally turn on him last night so hopefully WWE will notice that. I would also like to see a three way feud between Punk, Edge and Hardy, it could also start the ball rolling on a face turn for Edge.
Another problem is if Punk is turning heel, we only have Jeff Hardy who might not be here for much longer and Undertaker who doesn't have much left. They might push Morrison but I think Edge will be the person to turn face, there have been many hints at it for the past month or so, and it looks like a character change after he divorced Vickie.

| Yeah everyone keeps saying Hardy is really good now, but I guess when you've disliked him as long as i have it's kinda difficult to actually see that.
The unmasking did sound well done, I don't have a problem with that. It's more that it would be a bad move if Rey started wrestling without the mask, as that would really hurt him as it's a big part of his character, and also WWE from a merchandising standpoint.
