| My personal favorites over the last few seasons all seem to dissapear sharpish, It is getting rather annoying now. GK: C. Ince (legend) at walsall RB: John Brayford - set for epic rise hope we keep him one more season CB: Baudet (cult legend - beast) Off to the MLS CB: Steve Foster (too good for us, but if we were still in the championship ) LB: N/A all been shite recently RM: Eugen Bopp (brilliant) never played more than 7 games a season - released CM: Gary Roberts (Firey, angry, cunt) yeovil CM: Occy (got loaned out to lincoln because he is a cunt lol) Probably won't stay LM: David Vaughan - left for spain now at blackpool ST: Varney (fucking legend, from box factory to 25 goal agressive genius) charlton ST: Maynard (was mainly good because of varney but scored a shit load) first offer accepted, bristol. ST: Pope 150k+ to rotherham gave his all scored goals, ran like a tractor I keep pledging to never have favorite players, because whether good, average or shite they all leave the next season lol. any one else have the trouble with their personal favorites fucking off just as you think they will stay for one more season lol can't believe we sold tom pope, thought he'd be here for ever, never too good to leave us, never too bad to be kicked out. But 150k + is suprisingly alot for a semi proven lg 1 player who constantly has trouble with his shins cos he cant run correctly | |

| The last time I was really cut up about someone leaving was when Stan Petrov signed for Aston Villa, Stan was different class for Celtic and I knew it'd be a while before we see anyone as talented as him in the middle of the park for Celtic again
Guys I was distraught about leaving was obviously Henrik Larsson, if I could I'd have sold my ex at the time (who was proper stunning) to keep him, I'd have had his babies, the other guy I was distraught about was back in 1997 when Celtic sold Pierre Van Hooijdonk to Nottingham Forest for £4.5m (good money back then) that was hard, big Pierre is one of my all time favourites
Can't say I'd lose any sleep over any of the currant lot

| I would be really gutted if Brunt went,Cos we gave him the opportunity to further his career from sheffield wednesday-We literally broke the bank for him.We got him into the prem and now his stock has risen 10-fold,Top scorer with 8 Goals.I hope he shows a bit of loyalty.
My current favourite is the lad in the pic Graham Dorrans. The last time I was annoyed about someone going was Gera to fulham or even when koumas went.

| Darren Huckerby - Left Wing. Please come back... Dion Dublin - Center Back/ Center Forward. Most people know about this guy and respect all he has done in football. Genuine character and a great on pitch leader, became a legend in just over a season and a half. Iwan Roberts - Center Forward. My hero, seeing this ginger cunt up front really was something to behold. Quite a shit player really but had passion, strength and a dirty side that we have missed. Let him go a season too early. Robert Green - Goalkeeper. Great to see him in the England set up. Far too good for the Championship and even though he left us through the back door so to speak he would be welcomed back at any time with open arms. Nice guy. Alan Lee - Center Forward. Ex-scummer, he has seen the light. One of only four players that looked like they gave a shit on the last day. Truly converted. Shame we can't afford him from Palace Malcky McKay - Center Back. Best center back we have had in the last decade, we let him go two years early and we should have brought him into the coaching team recently. Great guy, real leader. Gary Doherty - Center Back. Improved loads this year, should have got player of the season, he has inspired such great songs such as "DOC!" (x10) lol. Jamie 'Barn Door' Cureton - Shit. Totally lost his confidence this year but he has a passion for the club and what City fan wouldn't love him for shaving all his hair off and dying what little remained green on derby day! Jason Shackell - Center Back. Top guy, nice lad and the best to come through our Acadamy in recent times. Some of the current crop could surpass him though. | |

| Steve Flack - Exeter City legend. We signed him back in the mid-90's from Cardiff, he was absolute shite! before he became a footy player, he was a pro heavyweight boxer and used to spar with Danny Williams. Holds the record for scoring a hat-trick at Exeter, in 12 minutes. Why we loved him? He once scored a 35 yard screamer into the top corner - our manager of the time, eamonn Dolan even said in the post-match press conference that everyone thought Flackey was trying to control the ball. Retired a couple of years back, still a God.
of the current bunch, I like a kid called Ryan Harley - sweet right peg, and can pass the ball like a dream. best of all, he's a ginger!

| Not if you play a style that compliments him. Played great for us, not scoring enough goals maybe but they way in which he used his knowledge and power to make space and create chances.
Think he is past his best, was a great championship player but now he is getting on and the step down to League 1 could prove to be good for him. Reckon he could get upto 15 goals in League 1 if we got him.

| Carlos Cuellar - The guy was solid as a rock in our defence, and I was gutted when he went. Just glad that Madjid Bougherra came in and has done almost as well, only wish we could have had the two of them together. If Bougherra were to be sold in the summer, I'd be well pissed off. | |

| Obviously Gerrard and Torres. Hyypia was a legend for us, I think he was vastly underated as a centre back. Always like Danny Murphy, just never really seemed to get big with us, still like him at Fulham now.
Luis Garcia, never understood why we sold him, nice little player if a little inconsistent scored two very important goals in the lead up to the Champions League 2005. Juventus goal (which was pretty amazing!) and the Chelsea goal in the semi final.
I always like Riisse, I think until his last season with us he was a solid player, scored some screamers as well.
Jerzy Dudek will be forever a legend for Istanbul 2005.

| Was it Garcia who scored against Juventus? I always thought it was Hyppia or Agger (although I don't think he was with Liverpool at that time). Like you said though, it was a great goal especially against a keeper like Buffon.
Riise had one of the most powerful shots in the Premier League, I remember one of his free kicks breaking Alan Smith's leg and dislocating his ankle! Riise wasn't the same after being attacked by a Craig Bellamy golf club lol.

| geronimo you missed off ashton lol. So did I, I think I must have blanked it out as his sale in jan was the 1 reason we are in league 2 right now. (well lots of reasons but if we didnt sell we would probably either be winning league 1 or not have even gone down at all yet ) god that fucking depressed me lol. 8th in jan, he had 21 goals, sell, end up 20th after not winning a game untill the last day of the season, surviving on +1 GD to (rotherham?) all because Bopp came on for relegated forest and scored a 25 yard volley against (rotherham?) omg whyyyyyyyyyy dario why!? argh should have waited untill he had 30+ goals and sold in summer and REPLACED with some of our 5+million atleast we could have got. and I almost put bougherra too, just deleted him off as its silly to idolise a man after half a season on loan haha. | |
