Update On The Undertaker's WWE Return

As reported last week, The Undertaker recently underwent arthroscopic hip surgery a little over two weeks ago and had bone chips and other debris removed from his hip. This is the same surgery that NFL star Kurt Warner had done.

Undertaker's recovery time is expected to be around eight weeks leaving him available for a return in mid-July. The talk still as of now is for him to wrestle at SummerSlam in August giving him an extra few weeks to prepare and use TV time to build up his return to the ring.

There was a plan at least at one point to hold off his return until the newly named "Breaking Point" PPV in September (which was originally known as "Unforgiven"). The theory was that Unforgiven had an Undertaker-type theme and saving a return to boost that PPV would help, but this had been done before and Unforgiven ended up bombing. So the idea of an Undertaker return boosting PPV buys doesn't appear to apply anymore since he has had so many returns in the last few years.

If he returns i hope they don't have Umaga job to him i hope he actually puts one of the younger guys over at Summerslam. At the moment smackdown doesn't need him.

I'd love to see a long feud with Chris Jericho, going over around three PPV's think that would be brilliant, could really put both over although with Jericho looking slightly the stronger, by that time Jericho could be the #1 heel while Edge still as champ could be a face and lead to a big match with those two

I'd really like to see an Edge vs Umaga feud, think that could be brilliant

I'd like to see how Umaga does in a few minor feuds before he does a program with Edge after CM Punk possibly John Morrison.
A jericho-undertaker feud would be brilliant.

I'm not talking about a feud with Edge just yet, but when he does turn face which I think is a certainty now he will need a good established heel to feud with while building the eventual feud with Jericho so I think Umaga would be perfect for it, he is big, mobile and quite entertaining in the ring

if they didnt bury him alive every year then i think his return would still bring in buys i heard they want to put Doplh Ziggler in a feud with him i think this would be good for Ziggler hopefully it makes a PPV could be interesting feud

The Ziggler thing was barely even news, slow news day I think, it was just a suggestion by one of the creative as a possible feud for taker whenever he returns, think it would be a good feud myself but later on in the year, let Dolph really build some steam, I'd have Taker go over him in the program but in a way that makes Ziggler look really strong

Hopefully they do something a bit different with his return for once, not get bummed then come out on top.

Personally hope he comes out as a heel, about the only really different thing they can do with him now. Come out as if he's gonna beat up Jericho then join him or summit, especially against Punk or Jeff Hardy

im really enjoying Ziggler on smackdown alright he hasnt done much but since he got on the mic & attacked Khali it showed a new Ziggler which i like

I have wanted to see a big heel turn from The Undertaker for about two years at least, I think Batista could have looked really great if Taker played the heel in their rivalry

I think its too late now though, can't see him turning now, don't think he has long left to be honest.
