Chelsea vs Sunderland (36) Hull City (35) vs Manchester United Reserves Aston Villa vs Newcastle United(34)
Middlesbrough need a miracle to stay up, which involves both Hull and Newcastle losing, themselves winning away at Upton Park versus West Ham, and swinging a -4 goal from Hull in their favour.

| I can see Middlesborough falling into the championship and just never coming back up, they don't really have anyone that good, and when they do drop down they'll lose their best players anyway, saying that Phillips might join them, which would be a good move considering the last two teams he has played for have gone up to the championship, but it depends on whether he wants to stay in the championship or not.
I can see Hull going down or Newcastle, I don't think either will get any points, but even then Sunderland are safe if they lose.

Don't Boro have to beat West Ham 6-0 or something like that INCLUDING hoping that Hull lose at least 4-0 (that part is possible) is it one or the other lol, I'm sure it is now. I like Middlesborough, think it was because of their days winning the Carling Cup and getting to the final of the UEFA Cup, the same year in which they scored 2 or 3 goals in stoppage or extra time to beat Basle in the semis, if anyone can pull off this, it's Boro but I think this is asking too much of them.

| I'm going for Hull to stay up, not because they are any better than the other two, I just fancy all of them to lose on Sunday, no one looks liek they want to stay up, they just keep on losing | |

nope just a 4 goal swing, win 2-0 hull lose 2-0 simple as that I think, same as crewe they need 2 to lose and to win and inc a 4 goal swing. but obv we got raped and others won so haha

Don't know about that, if Man Utd play their full team which I doubt they would be so stupid to do, then most of them will not be playing at 100% because they wont want to risk getting injured, with the fringe players they will be desperate to prove they are good enough for a place in the CL Squad so they are more than likely to give a harder game than the usual first team

| Our reserves took Everton to penalties in the FA Cup Semi Final (we could have won if the ref gave the penalty for the foul on Welbeck), the majority played in the Carling Cup run, and have played a few games in the league.
The team will likely be
GK Kuszczak RB Rafael LB Fabio CB Ferdinand CB Neville RM Fletcher LM Nani CM Gibson CM Possebon FW Macheda FW Welbeck

| How can those teams actually prove that we will field a weakened team? What defines a weakened team, is it leaving the likes of Rooney out of the squad or playing the likes of Nani? I don't see how you prove one team is a "strong" team and another team isn't. | |

| This makes me laugh, people like Neil Warnock are really pathetic if your team is good enough then you shouldn't need to rely another teams. I sometimes wonder if warnock even watched the united/west ham game from a few years back, our reserves played them off the park, hit the post 3 times and yet he still yaps on about how discracful it was that we didn't try to win the game. Its what a squad is for PS: This story is total BS made up by the media to sell their rags. lol | |

And didnt people think macheda was a god a while back etc and people like welbeck have played and scored good goals lol.

- United's bid to finish the Barclays Premier League season with a win on Sunday - and more importantly to win the Champions League next Wednesday - could be boosted by the return of one or hopefully two England defenders.
Wes Brown is in contention for a start on Sunday afternoon against Hull City while Rio Ferdinand's chances of being involved look better after he trained on Friday morning.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Sir Alex Ferguson said, "Rio has trained today, which is good news. He’s done quite well. We’ll see how he is tomorrow.
"Wes Brown’s been training for over two weeks now. He comes into contention. He’s another experienced international player who’ll relish coming back into the team."

| Can't say I'm shocked at Newcastle being the leaders of this poll (I voted for them too!), I am however surprised that no one has voted for Sunderland at all!
Work with a Sunderland fan and they are far from convinced that they'll stay up!
