King of the Ring returns!

While its not been confirmed the 15th of June RAW will be a 3 hour show and its going to be themed so many believe it will be this years King of the Ring!

I used to really love KOTR when I was younger and it was a great launch pad for many of the guys in the mid card, I thought they wasted it slightly last year on William Regal who unless was planning a full time return to the ring at the time should have went elsewhere

If this is true which I think it probably will be then at this stage guys I would like to see compete for it would be

I actually thought they might have made Regal a world champ after he won the KotR and maybe he would have if it wasn't for the whole drugs fiasco.

I like the competitors although I wouldn't have either of Priceless in it.

I think both Di Biase and Rhodes would be far superior and have a greater opportunity of doing something with a gimmick like that than Santino or Mark Henry to be honest

i just dont feel the king of the ring now,

it used to be great when they had the whole build up and then the PPV with the last few rounds.
now it just seems rushed

I know what you mean, the KOTR was great but now its obviously not as highly thought out, I thought it was rushed last year although if they announce it early enough this year they can have a proper build up to it!

They only revealed it a week before the event last year, I think it was due to be the draft but plans changed and the draft put back until June

Course you do, so why bother including them when a win and a match over any of Pricele$$ would be superior

I would rather see Priceless doing something different then KOTOR. The tag division could do some beefing up still and they are a good team.

I just don't want to see them turning into singles guys too soon.

I know what you mean but having one off matches to further a competition hardly stops them from being a team, anyway, when is the last time they actually performed in a match as a Tag Team?

I think after WrestleMania the Tag Division will be exclusive to SmackDown! and ECW so it leaves actual teams short on RAW

It's a great PPV though, or was anyway.

Considering they have so many PPV's and so many without running gimmicks I can't see why they don't use this.

Unforgiven, No Mercy, Judgement Day and most of all the GAB are inevitably dull so why not use something which has great history (Austin's big break, HIAC 98, Angle and Shane Street Fight etc). Instead they steal (sod the rights) a name off WCW, fine logic.

I agree the Great American Bash is a total non event!

I would far rather King Of The Ring to be held than that
