The Million Dollar Championship Belt Returning to WWE?

The original Million Dollar Championship belt hasn't been seen in WWE since early 1996 when Ted DiBiase Sr. gave it to the debuting Steve Austin. Austin abandoned the title when DiBiase left WWE and he became "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

good news looks like ted will be getting a bit of a push if this is brought back
just hope it wont turn out to be like booker t and his legends belt where its never defend

I think it was defended about 5 times in 3 years

hopefully they do it better this time but if they dont defend the intercontinental and US championship on a regular basis then i cant see it happen still good to see ted getting a little push

You don't seem to get the whole idea behind the Million Dollar Belt bosch. The point is that a heel has this extravagant looking belt as he can't get his hands on the World title, and uses it to declare his greatness, whilst very, very rarely actually puting it on the line, as he clearly doesn't want to lose it, and it's his belt he can do what he wants with it.

Bosch listen to whats being said mate. It is not really there to be defended jsut his attire. It will get him over as a heel. I would like to see Teddy go after the righ guy gimmick a little more.

Yes but if it was introduced as title it would never be defended and you said you would not that to happen

And if it were defended, that would defeat the whole purpose of the belt too.

The only time it looked reasonable to defend was when Virgil finally stood up to The Million Dollar Man, the belt signified everything that held Virgil down, so in the end it made sense that he got his hands on it, however by the same token it made even more sense to get it back around Ted DiBiase's waist

I don't think it served its proper purpose when Steve Austin was given it

The only way I would like to see this return would be if it was used with Ted Di Biase saying that he is far better than anyone else and that only this title will recognise how good he really is.
