X Division wrestler Sonjay Dutt, 26, is the latest wrestler to part ways with TNA. His contract was coming up next month and the two sides weren't able to come to terms on a new deal.
The departure caught a few people by surprise as he was a big part of the company's face in India, where Impact is a high rated show.
While he hadn't been used much in recent months, his name was still coming up in creative meetings as recently as last week, so company officials were looking to keep him on board until sometime this weekend.
As a result of Dutt's departure from the organization, it remains to be seen where SoCal Val goes from here. She had been working as his valet in recent months following the conclusion of his feud with "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal.
The TNA website has already removed his profile from the roster page, thus confirming his departure from the organization.

Looks like the X-Division is on its death bed, after Jimmy Rave, Williams and now Dutt all three were great talent in that specific division, i can see TNA just using the X-Division strap as a mid card belt now instead of a belt for the more flamboyant wrestlers. Sure these guys can be replaced but they just contribute to the fact that TNA is focusing less and less on X-Division although maybe after this MEM vs Frontline sega they will put more emphasis on what made TNA a different product from the WWE. Dutt on his own is not a big loss but more and more talent is being released with these rumored 'Off the wagon' matches i reckon there will be more and more X-Divison talent let go | |

| This guy is fantastic in the ring and not bad on the mic either. He will never be a main eventer IMO but he could easily have had some decent feuds with the bigger stars in TNA such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe etc. What is left of the actual X Division now? AJ is now a main eventer and involved in the MEM angle, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley are more of a tag team than X Division singles wrestlers, Eric Young doesn't really do much anymore Sheik Abdul Bashir just feuds with referees and jobs to the likes of Rhyno and I don't know what TNA have planned for Jay Lethal, he was involved in the MEM angle at the start then slowly started moving away from that and is now not really doing anything like Eric Young. And don't get me started on Kaz/Suicide and Christopher Daniels/Suicide/Curryman lol. The only proper X Division "star" left is probably Shark Boy lol. | |

| Wrestling wise he was fairly decent, was involved in the god awful So Cal Val wedding storyline but he was the best actor in it (that is like saying who plays Harold Bishop is the best actor in Neighbours) | |
