3 hour raw.

Now the last few 3 hour specials have ranged from brilliant to dire unwatchable television.


but usually somthing BIG happens at the special raws.

What I am worried about is that, as this is for the slammies, alot of air time will be people coming to the ring, promo videos, talking about slammies (which will in turn have no point after next week and the winners will be forgotten) thus making the show one of the supreme failings of wwe tv.

there are some glimmers of hope, steph shane story. Jericho cena promos hopefully.

edge is on the show lol.

and maybe vince will re appear to slap shane and tell him to feck off cos daddys little girl is in charge.

anyone looking forward to the show? im not but il watch in faith

It will be a promo fest, I think there will be a bit of interference in the matches as well

Can't see Triple H or Batista losing cleanly when there is nothing at stake

you think jeff will wind up in the cena edge match? quite a place to be seen 3 hour raw main event between both champions.

I hope cena and edge match is like their previous meetings, they were enthrawling to watch.

Again thats another match that I don't want to see any interference in, but I doubt Cena would be asked to job on his own show, so maybe have Jericho come down and cost him the match to Edge, It would be good seeing Jericho and Edge potentially working together as well.

I hate it when WWE make those champion vs champion matches. Nothing good come of those matches, if someone loses cleanly, it makes that champion look weak and if there is interference, the match is made even more pointless than it already was.

I can see a big advancement in the Shane vs Steph story tonight. I think Shane might reveal he is taking over the GM role on Smackdown after Armageddeon using the excuse that Vickie is abusing her position to help Edge. I hope to see a Smackdown vs ECW/RAW brawl to end the show tonight.

Vince won't come back just yet, I don't think. He will either return at the Rumble or at Wrestlemania itself. I can definately see him appearing at Mania though whether that is just a one off appearance I don't know.

I'm not hoping for much tonight, the matches already announced will probably be the only matches on the card if they have to fit in all the award giving inbetween.

How can you give awards out (kayfabe) without giving them all to the faces?

I don't see how it would make sense giving Jericho superstar of the year after punching HBK's wife and being a general cunt.

I don't really mind who wins the Champion v Champion match, I just want someone to win and not a double DQ, then I would like that winner to claim to be the undisputed champion!

At least if Cena won and claimed he was the unofficial Undisputed champion, it could at least fit into Jericho who could claim to be the first OFFICIAL Undisputed Champion and claim Cena is not good enough to even attempt to say that, it could actually lead to a title v title match at the Rumble

If you look at Chris Jericho though (in kayfabe) he doesn't seem to lie, and even in punching Michaels wife, he didn't do it deliberately, HBK brought her to a wrestling ring, he then got involved in an argument with Jericho and then ducked from an attacker to save himself, something HBK has got previous for back in 1992 when Jannetty ended up nailing Sherri

Like you said, its in kayfabe, so it will be kayfabe honours, remember not everyone who will be on the panel deciding will be a face supporter

I don't think its possible to have a real brand war to be honest with you!

In order to do it and for it to work they would need to have the fans 100% committed to it.

most of the kids and marks will cheer the faces, so even if they support RAW they will cheer for Triple H to beat Jericho and if they support SMACKDOWN they will then cheer for Cena to beat Edge I just don't think the writers could possibly do it, I don't think the fans could do it and I don't think the wrestlers could possibly do it. I just couldn't see guys like HBK and Rey seriously playing a heel role if they appeared on SD! I also don't think the powers that be would attempt to potentially kill a money maker like Cena or Punk by making them a heel on another brand!

Anyway, it done wonders for Owen Hart, it gives guys titles that help get them over as credible when some might not believe they are ready for the big time

3 hour RAWs are very seldom any good and never really have any real story progression

They might have one big result but never really adding much to the fold!

I expected more than that was given, especially in the Shane/Steph storyline.
