| Erm, kinda lol.
Sounds like he was important anyway:
http://www.wrestlinginc.com has reported that Dr. Bruce Prichard has been released from the company. For those that don't know he was a big part of the production team, and held many seminars around the Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina area to help people build characters that have a shot to get signed with a big company. This release is a shock to many.

| Bruce was a big part of the E and was one of Vince's closest confidants, many believed him to be a yes man though.
He was the one that played Brother Love wasn't he???????

| although if he was part of the production team (not producer) he may indeed be in charge of camera cuts, scene change etc? cos that has been shoddy recently. always cutting to bad angles for certain moves where you can see how they arent real | |

| big part of the production team, is about how the show will be put onto the tv though isnt it.
and it has been shit in that essence. shows have been good but production has been bad.
why else would he sack his right hand man unless he was making the moves look fake with shoddy production
maybe he was caught with a picture of steph in a toilet thoguh

| production can be anything to do with the show
I think if you look back the camera angles have been bad since they went to HD and they have tried to hide certain aspects of the ring secrets, it highlights others
I agree though, there is far to much camera work now, its all to close up for my liking!

| He didn't have that sort of basic role though, he was just like a general "right-hand man" as has been said.
He played a part in booking, production, new talent...everything really.
Just been reading up on him, was a really important fella.

| It wasnt vince
As reported earlier, WWE released Bruce Prichard on Monday. He had been with the company for 22 years (with the exception of a brief time period). His firing was a Stephanie McMahon call.

| Hm, can't really tell whether this is bad or not. If he was a yes-man it was definitely a good thing because those suck.
On the other hand it was Stephanie McMahon's call and I imagine that, in the place of the experienced yes-man who sucks up to Vince McMahon, there will soon be an unexperienced yes-man who sucks up to Stephanie McMahon.

Maybe Stephanie didn't want to many of Daddies eyes being around her all the time since she seems to be taking a more active role in the company these days

- As reported earlier, WWE released Bruce Prichard on Monday. He had been with the company for 22 years (with the exception of a brief time period). His firing was a Stephanie McMahon call.
Prichard was not at TV the past two weeks and people were told he was on vacation. Stephanie had been negative on Prichard in recent years as she saw him as Vince McMahon's biggest yes-man. She's buried him in the past, sometimes in front of others at creative team meetings, believing he was not paying attention and/or giving non-committal answers. She made the official call to cut him loose. With Prichard being a senior member in WWE, he had a large contract that Stephanie could justify cutting - although he often complained about taking a pay cut when he moved from Head of Talent Relations to creative.
In the past, he was an important member of the creative team, but no so much in recent months. He had also largely lost contact with Vince. He was supposed to attend meetings at WWE's headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut two weeks every month, but recently, it was more like two days every 8 to 10 weeks. The creative team was not given a reason regarding his dismissal from the company.
Bruce Prichard is the brother of Tom Prichard, who currently works with WWE's developmental talents in Tampa, Florida. Bruce Prichard has had numerous drug problems in the past, which has caused him to miss job promotions in the company as a result. He was supposed to land the head of television role producer Kevin Dunn ended up taking. Since 2004, WWE required Prichard to take urine tests once per week.
Regarding his future, it wouldn't be surprising to see Prichard wind up in TNA. He is close to TNA wrestler Jeff Jarrett since both of their wives have battled cancer. Prichard was quite upset when Jarrett's wife Jill passed away last year as a result of the disease, to the point that some people were worried about him.
Prichard was a major supporter of Undertaker and John Bradshaw Layfield. In fact, Prichard is listed as one of the VP's of JBL's company
I'm glad they quote Prichard as a yes man to Vince, although I said it, its just something i have always believed, so to see it posted is a bit of a relief, thought I might have been giving out BS to people there

| Speaking of bad production (well, I think this was the production team's fault lol), on last week's RAW during the Orton vs Jericho vs Batista match, you could clearly hear Orton say the words "reverse, spinebuster" to Batista before Orton went to Irish Whip Batista against the ropes who reversed it and hit a spinebuster on Orton surprisingly! That was the first time in years I had heard the wrestlers communicate with each other during a match. | |

| i hear the ref say things every so often, its awful when you hear the prompts for moves.
somtimes i think they forget to change their voice from shouty kayfabe ref voice to the move call quieter voice.

| I also hate it when you hear the wrestlers asking each other if they are OK. I know it's important to know that you haven't broken the other guy's neck or whatever, but it really ruins the sense of kayfabe when you hear Snitsky ask Kane (this was when they were involved in that long rivalry in 2004-05) ask if he is OK. | |

I remember at No Way Out Cena and Orton where outside the ring and at the 9 count you could clearly hear the Ref shout "GET BACK IN" to both of them during the longest 9 count in the history of numbers!

I remember at last years Survivor Series HBK has just nailed Orton after the match with Sweet Chin Music and you could plainly hear him say it, I didn't mind though, he obviously caught him an absolute cracker
