If Benoit was still alive and had not committed those crimes, then he would be ECW champ for a while then probably a draft to Raw and in the main event something which no one wants because he is boring!
As For Eddie Guerro, if he was alive then mysterio would not have been the underdog champ, no storyline with chavo, no storyline with Vicki and no edge and vickie storyline fortunately or unfortunately depends on your point of view!

When I thought about a lot could have played out differently due to Eddie & Voldemorts deaths.
With Benoit then the storylines from that year could have played out, Vince's death angle would have come to fruition, the whole rumoured major push for Kennedy as McMahon's helperwould have taken place and he'd have become a main eventer. With Guerrero they wouldnt have given the title to Rey but neither could they have generated the heat that Orton had got. Nor would Vicki have become such a great character. Personally I dont miss either of them, Benoit never did anything for me as a wrestler, Guerrero occasionally entertained but again he wasn't a guy I wanted headlining.

As fantastic a wrestler as Benoit was, unfortunately his promo skills were dire (although I did love the promo he did where he showed he beat Orlando Jordan in less time than it takes him to drink a cup of coffee, that was genius). I reckon he would have been a midcarder for the rest of his career, the one World title reign he had was simply a thank you for the great work he had done in making 90% of the roster look good.
Eddie on the other hand, it looked like WWE were gearing up to give him another title reign. How he handled that title reign would no doubt determine his future, as during his reign he had trouble handling the pressure, so a second chance would decide whether he would be a main eventer or a midcarder. Got to say though, as much as I liked Eddie, I miss Benoit more.

Damn right I miss Benoit! Even if he wasn't being pushed he still had great matches with everyone he faced. If it hadn't been for benoit, would MVP have gotten over as quickly as he did? I doubt it. Also the guy pulled out a great match with Kane a couple of years back. Kane FFS!! A guy like that is an incredibly valuable asset

Kennedy I think has missed the boat entirely now and is on the slippery slope to a 'WWE would like to wish Ken Anderson all the best in his future endeavors' and then turning up on TNA a few weeks later.

Benoit I just found as boring in the ring as out of it. Suplex suplex suplex diving headbutt crossface opponent taps. It was like playing a game on the Xbox: x,x,x hold down RB and rotate LS, wiggle RS repeatedly for win, repeat and rinse.

I think you're missing a few moves there, like the sharpshooter, backbreaker, lots of chops. And although he did use a lot of suplexes, he had a variety of different ones, like the german, vertical, dragon, belly to back, northern lights etc.

I was probably being a bit harsh on his moveset as obviously he was a technically gifted wrestler but I got into wrestling through being entertained and the entertainment factor always has superceeded the wrestling factor in my eyes. If I wanted to watch the guys wriggle on the floor with submission moves for twenty minutes I'd watch Judo. Benoit wasn't a Kurt Angle, he was never comfortable on the mic like he was in the ring. I'd liken him to Jeff Hardy (both guys that struggle out of the ring) but for me I prefer the spot monkey style of Jeff to the mat wrestling style of Benoit.

I am sorry Gunman, I would have to agree with Macclad on that one!
I mean do you remember Chris Benoit had catchphrase " Chris Benoit is for real" or something like! Just look at the way he said that!
Moreover, Benoit was no doubt a pure wrestler with amazing amateur wrestling skills but they were no variety in his moves! At the start of the match, a chop, then at half time let's say three german suplex and a headbutt, then by finishing with cross face! Boring some times!

Cant find that Jericho promo when him and Benoit had a tiff back in 2000/01, the one where he call's Benoit mr. Roboto and that. That was class, found this, but I cant ifnd that promo that completey sum's up what Benoit was for me, a monotenous robot with NO personality. Anybody find that you get a thumb's up and a pat on the back, the same time as this...

I admit that he had no personality, but to me that doesn't matter when he put on a wrestling clinic every time he set foot in the ring. Without a doubt one of my all time favourite wrestlers, up there with the likes of Bret Hart. btw wasn't Mr Roboto the name of a Styx song?

Have to agree with you Gunner it annoys me people say he was boring in the ring as he was one of a select few people i could watch that wrestled a fair percentage of the match on the match or grappling. He was a good all rounder in the ring and to be honest if he was bad on the mic, why did WWE book him to speak? I only ever saw Benoit's fued with MVP and that was only the two PPV matches but i must say they were two amazing matches and no one has been able to get that out of MVP since. Benoit always managed to make the opponent look good even when beating them (from the little ive seen on youtube) and if you compare his ability to some of the so called 'technical' wrestlers about today, Benoit would be up there with the best.

One thing I always thought they could have done to hide his crappy mic skills, would have been to use Ric Flair as his manager, playing off the fact that benoit was once a Horseman. Unfortunately though that wasn't to be, as the Nature Boy's job was to just to kiss HHH's ass and nothing more.

Yeah that Mr. Roboto tune, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdlJs3N_5gY but that promo by Jericho was one of the best Ive seen from him and tbh that was a very good fued, Il give prop's where they due, but I prefer a wrestler with fair wrestling skill's and a great on screen charisma (a Rock for eg.) than some one who is really monotenous in personality but can put a few decent hold's on their opponent's.
I did like that agression that he brought in, but he just faltured on the personallity front, and to be blunt, what he did last year just make's it easier to hate him, and more, to look past anything he ever did in the ring.

That's where we differ I guess, as guys like The Rock did nothing for me, too much comedy both on the mic and his in ring style. I'll give him credit for the matches against Austin and the ladder match against HHH, but other than that I found his matches to be pretty crappy, and until Cena came along he had the fakest punches in wrestling. I'd much rather see Benoit vs Dan Severn than say The Rock vs Hogan, 2 completely different styles, but I'll take wrestling over sports entertainment any day of the week. Kinda obvious that i was more of an NWA\WCW fan eh?

Eddie would probably be in the storyline where the undertaker trying to take vickie down ( not the taking the sole ) or he would be where edges part was husband storyline ( i no he was married to her)
Benoit im not to sure bout him probably united states champion or ECW champion

If Eddie was still alive, then i don't think Vickie would ever have been employed by WWE, it's only because of his deaty they gave her the opportunity to make some money with them.
