Leaked WWE memo regarding HHH

Just been reading a few news stories regarding a memo WWE has sent out to videogame websites and magazine regarding coverage or Smackdown v Raw 2009.

In the memo not only does WWE ask that reviewers do not show any footage of WWE stars bleeding or brandishing weapons they also ask that......

No screenshots are shown that portray Triple H as being weak, defenseless or vulnerable. (basically don't show him being beaten down)

Its not weird its just plain fucking pathetic. Im gonna guess that next year Triple H will be rated 100 and there will be no blood or weapons in the game...

Seems someone already has and it serves WWE right for being so childish. Im sure that HHH would have been made to look good anyway as unless im mistaken hes the best guy in the game.
Also, IGN have already made at least one video with weapons involved

I wonder what WWE was expecting? It's not like video game magazines shat all over their games at an earlier point. If it is a good game, they will probably write that it is a good game, and if it's a bad game they will write that it's bad. They most likely wont emphasize it's awesomeness by showing pictures of weapons with captions like "Yay for brutality".

What's wrong with that? It's a business ffs.

Would you really want your top star being kicked in by Colin Delaney? No, it wouldn't look good and why do anything which could (however small a chance) damage your businesses reputation.

What makes it a bit stupid though is that WWE is trying to fix something that is not broken. I don't think any gaming magazine or web-site had planned to show a battered and bruised image of Triple H to promote this game. WWE really only created the problem when they tried to prevent it.

But a memo is not a public thing for the fans to discuss. This is just a tiny little precaution WWE are taking which I would bet HHH knows nothing about.

But I doubt that the precaution was necessary, and really only gave the addressees the idea of doing what they weren't supposed to do.

It's like telling kids they are not supposed to do drugs, then specifically describe the effects of the drugs, and where to get them. It will only give them ideas.

I could understand them doing it regard's to ALL of the top star's, but just Trip's was mentioned? Sound's abit specific though, was bound to cause a stir amongst you Smark's. ( )

Can't think why they want that opinion floating around but I it's not all accidental.

Maybe there getting him ready for the boss role?
