| Yea I was in four different countries, started off as Celtic to just win a few league titles with them, after 4 in a row I went to england and took Bournemouth from the 3rd division (league 2) to the Premiership in 4 seasons (was in the first division for two seasons) ended up taking over Everton and won the title back to back before I went to Germany and won everything with Dortmund before Bayern came calling, went there won the league title and the cup, in my first two games of the next season I lost both and got the sack, went to Italy with Ascoli and done with them what I done with Bournemouth, except I won Seria A, won it 3 out of 4 seasons and in the fifth season in there I was neck and neck with Juventus and Torino for the title and it just crashed with 4 games of the season to go, went back to the last saved and it always crashed at the same bit, take it that was the expiry date, they could have at least made it the end of the season even if it was the end of the previous season | |

| My campaign started with Sunderland. Got relegated (just) then got sacked after my ass was handed to me in The Championship. Went to Spain and managed Albacete but they sacked me after around 12 games. Then went to Darlo where I got them promoted up into The Championship (eventually) and were pushing for promotion now. Also the hugely successful manager of Finland. We got to the semi finals of the World Cup making me the best Finnish manager ever. I can speak 3 languages now too lol. | |

| With regards to the Premiership surprised that no-one has brought up the possibility of a European League? Although the spotlight is currently on the Premiership due to the influx of billionaire chairman the likes of clubs like Real, Milan, Barca etc have such a global appeal that they will always be amongst the elite. The other thing that has not been mentioned is what happens when one of these billionaires gets bored? When they decide to up sticks and walk out on the club? Roman last year looked bored a few times at Chelski, often he didnt turn up for matches that the previous year would have been there for. When they eventually find a new play toy, what becomes of the club with the overpaid stars? | |

| They will go tits up worse than Leeds ever did. The european league is just not feasible as an option, how many fans can afford to travel to the likes Milan/Madrid etc, every other week? Not many, which will disillusion the fans base, plus some of europe's big clubs have independent TV deals and that's something that would have to change if this were to ever see the light of day. | |

| I totally agree Bazz with your point of how will fans afford it. However the big wigs do not care about this
see the Premiership 39th game
Macca my main worry is the same as yours Billionaires getting bored will result in sky high wage bills and inconcievbly massive debts

| But the 39th game is built up on 38 other games played in front of the home based fans. All I know is, if my club were apart of anything like this then A) I would never go watching them again home or away, and B) I wouldn't subscribe to any pay TV channel that it would surely be on, and I know a few game going fans that feel the same. United make 3m per game through ticket sales, no business in there right mind would put that at risk to such an extent. | |

| I know I was merely trying to say that the 39th game is something which the fans dont want the big wigs will try to push through anyway.
I can honestly say if that did happen I would become a staunch Southport fan.

| the ones that are most at risk in the near term future are the likes of Arsenal & Liverpool. Chelsea & Utd are both pretty much nailed on every year now to be up there at the end of the season. But if another team joins the big four such as City then there's only 4 Champions League spots and I think they would struggle to regain that place. | |

| The 39th game really isn't a big deal to me to be honest, it doesn't take anything away from what we usually get , its just a money making exercise that will fail big time. Can you see the people in USA/Japan etc, paying to seeing a game like Bolton/wigan when the people of Lancashire don't? | |

That's what I don't get about Arsenal, they have the financial power to compete, yet don't. Liverpool are in the most danger, with those two hicks in charge(pun intended).
