The RAW-scramble

It will take 20 mins.
They changed the rules, so that the champions don't have to start. The beginners will be 'randomly' picked :-)
Who has the last pin/submission after 20 mins, willl be the new/old champion. Those who had the Title in between will not be scribed in the title history.
Different to the SD!-Scramble, the participants hadn't have to qualify.

This seems to be the perferct time to take the title from punk, because he hasn't got to be beaten. But on the other hand, he hasn't proof, he is a real champion. This would also make his future not easier. The match will let him look good at least.

Why not Kane? The story around him seems to be focused by the bookers. Why not pushing it with a title? Ok, they might need it for other storylines.

i can see kane winning as well leading to a Batista feud because what he did rey

and then Batista winning the title cos i do feel he is going to get a push then rey returns

The Midcard has got the better storylines.

true they main eventers dont have great story lines just they hate each other

but the mid card superstars at the moment have a great storyline eg y2j at the moment he is a mid card

Or like Kane. The Midcard pushes and the Maineventer blockade and doesn't know, where to go. Better build up Tagteams. That's what I'm praying for every day.

The Kane/Batista story is set, so neither of them need the title to get it going.

I think punk will retain or.........JBL will win it by getting a fluky win.

A Punk-JBL story could be nice.
JBL could make a good heel job and Punk might receive some reputation.

I guess this one will be the main event, then. The SmackDown one will feature a lot of pins (everybody pinning The Kendrick several times), so this one will have to be different. It would do Punk a lot of good if there'd be no pin at all in the entire match, except maybe at the end, Punk pinning Kane or JBL or possibly Cena.

This would

A) set this match apart from the SmackDown one
B) further facilitate Punk's run as a legitimate champ
C) open up possibilities for feuds with the guy Punk pins in the end

I agree with bazz that neither Kane nor Batista need the title, because they seem to feud anyway. Would be kind of a waste to make it over the title, additionally to "Aaargh, you killed Dwarfy!"

I could see Punk pinning Cena, and then starting a feud with him on that basis. Cena's been losing main event title matches for quite some time now, and it has never stopped him from getting into high profile feuds afterwards, so why not this time?

Maybe it'll be JBL who knocks Cena out, but Punk gets the pin. This way Cena can still claim Punk never beat him fairly, and invoke his perpetual #1 contender gimmick.

i can't really see JBL going places from there on. He's lost against Punk, but won against Cena in the not so distant past. Maybe he will once again insert himself into the title picture because of this.

I would like to see Kane win and have a title reign cause he deserves a push. Whats all this about adding people every 5 mins why don't they just start them all at once and let them get on with it.

i think that punk will retain, possibly without the belt changing hands at all!

i think batista could be a possibility, i think mysterio has been cleared fit for some time and they could do a typical run-in with kane set to walk out with the belt but mysterio takes him out just long enough for batista to win, thus furthering the kane/mysterio feud and allowing batista a cleanish break from this feud


but i want punk to retain this, becuase if he loses, he will be just seen as a transitional champ and have one of the worst reigns in years

I can see a Rey run in too, however I can see Rey screwing Batista and handing the victory to Kane

yeah i would like to see kane with the WHC, but not like this. the stuff thats goin down at the moment with him, putting the title strap on him doesnt seem right.

would love to see bradshaw with the title

Obviously you don't understand, I am not surprised however I explained it in great lengths only last week

Kane said Rey has had his spirit broken, his body is fine, Rey I am hoping will be so troubled and tormented that Kane has him under his spell, like how the followers of the Undertaker reacted to him when he 'took over there minds' when he formed the Ministry of Darkness!

JBL is the last guy on RAW I would rather see with the strap

Agreed. From all the contenders in this match, JBL is the only guy that does not bring anything new to the table. He may be out to form a stable with Team Priceless, but that would work without the title just as well.

Kane seems to feud with the 'Tista soon and as this Rey thing going on, Punk still wants to prove that he is a worthy champion, and Cena... well, let us not talk about Cena right now.

Iv still got this horrible feeling that they promised JBL a title run if he came out of retirement.

That's the same guy that took a full point off smackdowns ratings and that's something that they have NEVER recovered from.

I hope thats not the case Bazz, I didn't think they needed JBL back, not if they were planning the Regal push anyway and if they where desperate to get another mid to top level heel on board MVP was sitting doing nothing at the time waiting on Matt Hardy to get healthy!

I dont think he adds anything to the show performance wise although I do like his promos although I think he can talk over people which if you are not the strongest on the mic can make you look pretty weak, something he had a go at Morrison and Miz for doing to Punk a while back
