New Champ and New Team at Unforgiven???

Ok as I write this its mostly 'what if' and maybe this or maybe that........

With last nights promo and his new music for me it looks like Kane the character is finally receiving the push he should have got years ago, last week I was disappointed Kane revealed Rey Mysterios mask and not that of his own from yesteryear, however after seeing last nights advance on the story I am more thrilled than I thought I could possibly have been with this 'twist'

I think the way Kane was talking about 'killing' Rey's soul it reminded me of the way The Undertaker would somehow gain control of someones mind when he began the Ministry and following that those he would capture would soon be dedicated foot soldiers of his (The Acolytes, Mable/Viscera, Phiniess Godwin/Midion), with that in mind I was once again beginning to enjoy this Kane revival and hopefully it leads to something similar, its hard to be totally unique in Pro Wrestling, so I have no problems with recycling old story-lines if they are relative to the character.

Now Kane has apparently killed the spirit of Rey but the little guy is still very much with us in body and I think it would be a fitting return to the WWE for Rey come Unforgiven if he came down to ringside to confront Kane and at the last possible moment screw Batista and have Kane pin him in the final seconds to capture the World Heavyweight Championship.

This would turn Batista's attention to Kane (who it could be claimed has twisted poor Rey's mind) and then from Unforgiven to say The Rumble Kane could go on a reign of terror on RAW and gaining more and more followers, there are plenty of guys on the roster who could be used like Chuck Palumbo and Snitsky with possibly the added addition of James Mitchell to lead this evil brood.

It would keep Batista and Cena away from one another for a while, it would probably lead to a Batista title run and then lead to the WrestleMania rematch between John Cena and Dave Batista with Cena finally winning back the title, now this last paragraph is not something I would like to see, but I think if this is the road they go down with Kane and then lead on from there then all this Cena Batista thing could simmer nicely on the back-burner until nearer Mania time (since they seem to be trying to sell that match just now). So I would just think that for the way they are using Kane right now then this could be the best possible way to keep his character progressing and also keep the other stories progressing as well, I also think come Mania time if it is Cena v Batista then it could be the right time to finally turn Cena heel which could get him over no end at that point in his career!

Kane Ministry? Hell yeah! I also like the way Kane is going at the moment. Having the thing in the burlap sack being Rey's mask was very at first, but the story started to grow on me.

I am really fond of the idea of a stable of people who have been driven insane by Kane, a stable of complete psychopaths. I wouldn't necessarily see Snitsky as a member, as he's already crazy. Palumbo would be a better fit, but he is future endeavored atm, if I am not mistaken.

But am I the only person to find the phrase 'I met Rey in the parking lot and did something to him that broke his soul' a bit tricky, molestation-wise?

James Mitchell in WWE backing Kane would be awesome for everone he is one of the best managers around

I wrote something about this in the Raw article, that Mysterio would be evil, maybe in a black mask etc. I think would add something new to him and that is what he needs.

Yeh i like the idea of a stable, Rey turning heel on Batista would be good.

Id love them two to start a stable similar to how Right to Censor were run.

I can't see it happening though cos I just don't think WWE can be bothered with long, twisting storylines that make sense anymore.

Monday proved that given the chance, that, that boy Kane can cut a great promo, not sure he really needs a manager.

Honestly the only problem I ever had with this story was the "talk" of the mask being put back on Kane, I'm glad that didn't happen, and although RAYswoggle isn't my favourite wrestler, I'm pretty intrigued by whats to come in this storyline.

The best thing about this supposed Rey transformation is that it would actually be something new for Rey. I haven't followed his career that closely, but I have been aware of him since before he de-masked in ye olden WCW days, and he has always been the same dwarfish booyaka kidz-appeal guy.

Seeing a heel Rey Mysterio as Kane's torture buddy would be a completely new direction for the character, and I can't believe that this thought doesn't give Rey a little tickle, after doing the same schtick for roughly 15 years.

I can't see Rey becoming a heel out of this, he's big time kid-friendly and we all know how WWE loves exploiting the kiddies.
