Summerslam 2007 - Summerslam 2008

Ok so i started watching WWF in around 98, in 2002 i was no longer able to watch due to no access.

After finding the old WWETNA board, i started to watch again, first show i properly watched was in fact a PPV, Summerslam 2007.

Now a year on Summerslam 2008.


Just thought id highlight some of my personal favourite moments in the last year...

Y2J return - i new who it was, but i was so happy to see one of my favourite performers return to the ring.

Cena returning at Rumble 08 - not his biggest fan, but marking out is actually rather fun

MITB 08 - first one ive watched live, was great for spots

The progression of Kofi Kingston, think he's been brilliant, seems to have the full package

2008 Draft, Re packaged the brands, evened things out

The few weeks of 'Anarchy' on Raw, reminded me how great a wrestling promotion can be

Evan Bourne

Ill probably remember more in time

For me, it could be much the same.

Shawn Michaels match with Randy Orton at Suvivor Series proved beyond all doubt Michaels should be in the hunt for the strap, his ability to perform many different submission holds was fantastic

Chris Jerichos return, it was a bit to prolonged though

Cenas return at the Rumble

Shelton Benjamins push in ECW until around Mania then his move and push to the US title

Orton winning at Mania

Edge winning the TLC match for the title v The Undertaker

Edge winning the title in the triple threat at Armageddon and having the Major brothers morph into clones of him

the 2008 draft was fantastic

CM Punk winning the title

Anarchy on RAW

Kane's almost turn back to his glory days

Shawn Michaels and Ric Flairs programme leading right up until the potential match of the year at Mania

Jericho Batista and Michaels programme

the MITB match up

Priceless

Overall the arrival of new talent in all apects of WWE.

Cm punk has been pusshed, kofim, evan bourne as well as dibiasie and rhodes

You got some goodens there Gaff, cant believe i forgot the Jericho/Batista/HBK programme.

Villa i agree about the arrival of new talent. some goodens have arived in di biase, kofi, bourne and more recently cobana, hopefully truth will be added to that list

Jericho's new heel persona, i prefer the old Y2J, but it just shows his range of talent, this new Jericho is great

I've really enjoyed watching Edge, even though he has been booked as a pussy up until now.

The recent HIAC match at summerslam was impressive

Undertaker's progression as a wrestler and his couple of returns were a highlight for me. That chokehold he does makes him almost unstoppable now.

Cena's return at the rumble was cool.

Jericho's return for me wasn't that big or interesting.

Undertaker versus Edge at numerous PPVs. They know how to put on a good show.
