| Apparently a couple of matches are locked in Goldberg Vs Lesnar no surprise here, Big Show vs. ShaquilleO’Neal not looking forward to this at all. Triple H vs. Seth Rollins also obvious.
John Cena Vs AJ Styles
Ive also read Cena vs Taker was due to happen at mania but Vince wants to carry on the Cena Vs Styles feud trough to Mania and end it there. Which is why Cena returned and entered himself right back into the title scene. Vince wants Cena to walk out with the title at the rumble and equal Flairs 16 time world title record.
Undertaker Vs Roman Reigns
Now that leaves Taker without a match for Mania but why would taker be appearing on Raw next week well to set up a match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. This match is being set up and it would make Reigns a future star.
The reason for this switch seems to be because Vince McMahon wanted John Cena to face Undertaker but he wasn’t happy with the fact that the match wasn’t actually creating a future WWE star. Much like the match between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, many fans were annoyed at The Beast for ending the streak when it could have gone to a younger star that WWE could develop.
It seems that the same kind of thing applies here and Vince really wants to get it right this time. Despite the fact that many fans have been vocal about their hatred of Roman Reigns, it seems that he has actually gained a lot of popularity in the wrestling community and WWE could well mould him into a future star off a victory like this.
It also means a heel turn for Reigns though for the first time as a singles star, but it could be an interesting few months for the former Shield member.

| The cena v styles dyed makes sense. I think cena will win the title at the rumble, giving him 16. Styles wins it back at elimination chamber. Cena wins it again at mania. Breaking flairs record and giving cena 17.
I wouldn't mind Reigns facing taker at mania. Undertaker isn't drafted to a particular brand so could quite easily go to raw. It also keeps Reigns away from the title picture which will be Good for him. Refresh his character a little.

| Yeah he is being advertised and apparently for this reason to set Reigns feud for mania. Just seems bit weird from his SD promo saying smackdown is where he belongs and he jumps ship haha | |

| Plus, why set up a feud with him when he has a championship match coming up.
Unless he comes in a says he's challenging the winner of that match and a SD guy wins the Rumble.

| Reigns might interrupt Undertaker like he did Goldberg in possibly the lamest ending I've seen in a long time. | |

- Charlotte Vs Bayley
Bayley met with Stephanie McMahon backstage, and Stephanie told her that she never wanted her on Raw, and it was Mick Foley who pushed for her to be called up. The idea is for the Bayley storyline to be similar to WrestleMania XXX storyline involving Daniel Bryan and his pursuit of the WWE Championship. It was noted that the current plan is for Bayley to continue chasing the belt with her first title win happening at WrestleMania 33 where she'll defeat Charlotte for the title. It’s expected that Bayley won’t be winning the belt at the Royal Rumble.

| I reckon Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton might be added to the card as well.
I'd only be interested in Reigns vs Taker if the Streak was still intact.
I also reckon Jericho vs Owens will be happening.

| Jericho has to win a MITB and start the "will he cash in on KO" branch in that story, if the WWE values anything logical and entertaining. Which might mean Balor or Seth (if he's not facing HHH) vs Owens at WM, meh.

Unless he comes in a says he's challenging the winner of that match and a SD guy wins the Rumble. Didn't Smackdown beat Raw in the ratings for the first time in God knows how many years? Could be as simple as Raw needing the viewers, and Taker is still a draw...

- Let’s be honest, WWE doesn’t exactly have a great history when it comes to women’s matches at WrestleMania. Ashley versus Melina was the one chosen for WrestleMania 23 whilst WrestleMania 29 failed to have any females on the card.
Lats year WWE seemingly broke this trend when Charlotte faced both Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match at last years ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ in what was considered to have been the best female matches to ever take place at WrestleMania.
This means that in true WWE style, the company need to top it for this year. The current plans regarding the women seem to once again be looking towards multi-person matches. The Raw Women’s Championship looks set to be defended in a Fatal-Four Way match between Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, Bayley and current Champion Charlotte. Even though plans a few weeks ago were for Bayley to face Charlotte one-on-one and finally defeat the woman who has been provoking her for the past few months. Plans obviously change, and this latest plan would allow more women on the card, especially since the SmackDown women are also looking for a place on the card.
It seems that there are a lot of theories floating around about the SmackDown Women’s Championship, with many fans thinking that Mickie James would be put in her first one-on-one match for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania since her epic match with Trish Stratus more than ten years ago.
It was thought that Mickie would go one-on-one with Becky Lynch if The Lasskicker wins the title back from current Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. But it seems that WWE doesn’t want it to be that straight forward.
WWE officials have been very impressed with Nikki Bella since her return at SummerSlam last year and the fact that she’s been able to make her feud with Natalya personal. Officials want to put Nikki in a match with Becky Lynch for the Women’s Championship instead because they think she deserves it, which means that there could actually be two females multi-person matches on the card this year.
The match could instead see Becky Lynch defend against Nikki Bella and Alexa Bliss, who has also impressed WWE with her recent work since she was promoted from NXT.
Mickie James could easily be added to the match as well so that both the Raw and SmackDown titles are defended in Fatal-Four-Way matches. The WWE Universe will definitely want matches that will be worthy of the big event, and putting more women in the match doesn’t necessarily mean that these matches will be a step above last year.

| One will be a ladder match, that's my call for the women.
Triple threat or fatal four way would just work better for them if there's that big spot possibility. I doubt Nia could work a regular 3 or 4 person without looking like the third wheel. But tip her off a ladder she can stay down recover and then lose her shit
