Tonight is Dean Ambrose. Could be the making or breaking of his current run. Out ziggler, ziggler with the work ethic stuff, inject some natural personality back in to his on air persona. I think they can make the not giving a shit about what people think about him in to a more relevant part of the character. Dial back the lunatic bit, like Bazz says, it's run it's course. Go back to being a bit like Razor Ramon, before the big fight with HBK in 2 weeks time

Most interesting bit for me was his thoughts on Brock and Mania this year. Sounds like Ambrose was as disappointed as everyone else at how dull that match was.

Not watched this but I did read a transcript and it came off as though there was some tension between the two. Gonna have to watch it when I get time.

It wasn't tension, but more like a style clash. Both saying the same things in different ways. Austin was trying to drive the I interview and Ambrose was laid back. In the end though both think the same, the character needs that edge, Austin maybe thought Ambrose was settled and he could spur him on, but Ambrose was saying he's had to get back to the top post shield to be trusted with any creative freedom as a singles wrestler. Smackdown is only 3 weeks old, so I think he has plans, but isn't rushing it into a few episodes. You'd have to say last weeks promos felt a bit different than usual, and change is probably coming.

You have to agree with the Brock stuff. If you've seen the John Moxley with an electric carving knife in his head, you will get the idea of how far Dean would have gone to steal the show, even in less graphic WWE ways. I have no doubt he would have wanted a car wreck or something huge to finish the match, putting both over as psycho pain machines, but Brock probably does just think yeah I can just f5 people, so why does it matter how we get to me being better

Aye, completely agree. Ambrose has taken some unbelievable punishment in death matches, Lesnar is the guy capable of inflicting the most pain - I think that's why that match was such a let-down. I did also wonder if Lesnar was sulking a bit, facing a midcarder at Mania, having ended the Streak and been in the main event the previous two years. Facing Ambrose was a bit of a comedown from that.

This podcast had a weird vibe to it especially in the early stages am i the only one who thought SCSA relentlessly grilled Ambrose bout his childhood made ambrose fill uncomfortable by the looks of it. i suppose he wanted Ambrose to open upbout his troubled upbringing,Ambrose just made it hard for him and seemed awkward alot of the time through the whole podcast. SCSA seemed to get flustered by not getting much of a response from Ambrose.

Ambrose was very laid back. When SCSA asked bout the time he quit wrestling for a bit Ambrose reply where you getting your stuff internet ? and Austin snapped back at him no you. that felt weird and like Austin was fed up with the podcast.

Wasnt surprised when he said Lesnar was lazy and didnt want to do much and they was both disappointed with the match. i think lesnar wanted someone who was a bigger star to fight at the biggest stage of wrestling i read online Lesnar really wanted Wyatt so think that was something to do with it.

I love the story of how much wrestling means to Ambrose though and his amature wrestling id never thought of in him as he doesnt look like he done that as in the ring he doesnt use any of it but like he said not his style.

I like the fact he hates scripted promos and just wants to do it all from his heart hes got some say in it now and gets to do what he wants just think he hates people putting words in his mouth.I agree with him when he said the shield went out on the right time and wasnt too soon as they left it on a high.

Be interesting to see if he does do what SCSA asked in raising the bar. i enjoyed the podcast even with the odd tension in the air.
