Football Season 14/15

Just found out Exeter have had 2 players called up to the England u20 side, Christy Pym (keeper) and Matty Grimes.

Crewe are going to fucking struggle big time sexton , you made us look half decent and that's hard with the drips we have in our squad.

So far so good for us this season, unbeaten in the first 5 games Wilbrahimovic on 4 goals or so for the season after barely having scored for 2 years

of course we are. We lost our only two goalscorers that barely kept us up last time. We'll just develop the kids for a few seasons, again.

We're bottom of the league. I'm almost surprised it took this long.

Could I ask you guys to sign this? Won't count for anything, of course, but we have to have somewhere to try and get rid of Tisdale.

What's happened with Tisdale? Remember a few years ago he was rated pretty highly and potentially moving upwards in the leagues.

Classic case of someone taking the club as far as he can. When we finished 8th in league 1 a few seasons back, we lost our standout players, then replaced them with utter shite. We then decided to give Tisdale a 2 year rolling contract, so we either have to give him two years pay (which we can't afford), or 2 years notice that he's leaving. We play very dull football, have no attacking plans at all, he refuses to play anyone with pace, crowds have plummeted, and we've finished in a lower position than the season before for the past 4 seasons. Last season, he lost 8 straight games and was under no pressure at all. Basically he needs to go, but he won't quit, and we can't afford to sack him.

Sounds like you's are in a bit of a pickle. Surely you'll beat Oxford on Saturday. They haven't won a game all season I believe...

Neither have we... and only scored 3 goals, I think...

nothing adds more anticipation and pressure to a game than an increased police presence, but I'd forgotten how addictive that nervous, edgy feeling can be until today.

First points of the season for Crewe

Today United unveil their diamond. Barcelona amounts of possession vs QPR. If Rooney relaxes and him and RVP re-find a partnership they will get some big win margins this year. The midfield alone is winning them this game so far, Hererra scored as I'm typing too

Some United fans are getting too excited though, it was QPR not Chelsea, City or Arsenal.

they are, but they need to pump the poor clubs 4, 5, 6 and 7 nil for confidence, like Barca and Real in La Liga, then get as many points off the top 7 in tighter games. Last season they looked like they struggled to break down defences too often.

After the shite that was last season and the first 3 league games, we have every right to. We played well and won well. Already looking forward to the next game.

Top of the league 5 wins 2 draws. The thing is however that we haven't gotten out of 3rd gear yet and we've played Leyton Orient (play offs last year) and Donny (relegated last year). Looking at the division we SHOULD get promoted this season tbh, the squad is have is more than capable.

Yeah, my BCFC supporting mate said similar. I saw you play last week against Scunny and thought they looked good, especially in the second half. Funny how not many fans wanted Cotterill when you hired him!

I'll admit I wasn't exactly enthusiastic when we appointed him, however I remember I didn't even know who I'd want. Jon Lansdown (son of owner Steve and has some role on the board) said that they didn't even bother intewiewing anyone else as they knew they wanted Cotterill.

Since he's come in he's done brilliantly, I just love how we came about signing Wilbraham, Cotterill meeting him in a hotel in Dubai

When Peter Reid was sacked Sunderland hired Howard wilkinson with Steve cotterill as head coach. When they were sacked I wanted cotterill as Sunderland coach.

got a great win against a strong posh side mid week and fighting for top half this season by looks of it so on that its promising for Gills , however our squad isn't strong and think we will fade by end of season and stay up just , still think crewe will go down one no offence .
