Story going round that he slapped someone backstage...

To be honest, it's not a great loss. Since the world titles were unified, he's been a mid-carder at best. He just never quite connected with the crowd enough to justify a proper main event run.

Apparently, 90 minutes after this breaking, TNA called Del Rio and offered him to be their world champion.

The only man in WWE you can guarantee wasn't on steroids. I doubt he even used the gym. He kicked Ambrose in the head quite hard, maybe Orton was using that to wind him up. Orton is a slap magnet

and Grec, i'd imagine it will take a while for the official contract news. He can probably appeal to whether he deserves paying, but if he hit someone then it won't go far beyond termination.

For 9.99 a month he'll still be able to watch all the action on the wwe network...

It a strange one. He often kicks people in the head. He won the WHC belt off Ziggler based on kicks in the head leading to his concussion.

did he genuinely cause Dolph concussion? I would not be surprised if the Ambrose kick prompted Orton to have a go if that's true. You can see on Raw he nails Ambrose in the head quite hard.

Not surprised they wouldn't mind letting him go, Del Rio gave quite a few interviews about only being around for a year or 2 more and that started his decline from the top(ish), looks like WWE felt they couldn't be bothered with a guy they wouldn't get a lot from long term.

If he did slap Orton, that would fit in with him joining the Authority angle...

Swagger concussed Dolph, didn't he? ADR didn't do it, I'm fairly certain they just built the double-turn into that match on the basis of it.

No idea, I wasn't watching then, I just went off Mackem's comment. Wouldn't be surprised as Swagger known for not pulling his strikes.

Agree his rich guy gimmick was the best. Felt he offered something a little different in the ring although maybe he didn't mix it up enough.

Italy of been swagger that knocked out dolph, but in all fairness, weather he connects properly or not they do look vicious and can see one landing by mistake.

Another rumour is del rio slapped Kevin Dunn. He's a head writer isn't he? Heard his name before but not sure what e does.

Kevin Dunn is the head of production. He's basically the TV director for everything that is screened.

WWE have now tweeted that fans should be angry with ADR for being so unprofessional. I really think he's being added to the authority storyline, if they play on him allegedly having a row with Orton and then being fired, sets him up to join it?

Apparently he slapped a social media manager who when someone said they should clean their plate, they said "isn't that Del Rio's job" A better explanation I feel.
