Raw before Battleground thoughts

3 significant things happened in my opinion.

1) the introduction of sting on the wwe 2k game. He got a huge pop - which i was surprised at as I would thing everyone in the crowd under 10-12 years old wouldn't know who he is.

2) the network must be doing that bad that after almost 6 months they mention CM Punk and put his DVD on the network for free. They must be getting desperate. I think wwe need to bring the network over here as I think loads of people will buy it (I for one would).

3) Paul Heyman. Early in the show the announcers said he had quit, said he was fired and said he was in the building. Cesaro comes out alone to add fuel to the fire. Later in the show heyman shows up in the authority office. He tells HHH and Steph if plan B fails, to see him. That's the biggest hint yet that lesnar will return soon.

Other mentionable points:

I hope to god Rollins isn't injured. It looked liked a nasty landing.

Is Damien Sandow the new santino?

Roman reigns is getting better on the mic and on the ring but I wouldn't put the belt on him just yet.

Swagger is looking impressive and it looks like that might be a decent match against Rusev.

I thought the network was here already? Like you said for a £10 a month it's not bad, considering pay-per-views cost £15 or more.

At first i was thinking Heymans Plan C was CM Punk then i remembered Lesnar, also Rollins isn't injured he just sold it well, WWE only wanted the 4 from the Battleground main event left in the ring.

Also Summerslam Main Event video has been leaked.

I didn't think it was that good a Raw at all. I found it all a bit dull.

I'm assuming at this point that Sandow must have tripped up and landed penis-first in Steph. That's the only thing I can think of for him to be dumped over. He deserves so much better than Adam 'Almost as annoying as The Miz' Rose.

the first half of Raw was better than the second, the crowd died around Bray time.

I'm no American, but you have to love the continual pop for Swagger. Cheap as anything, but he will come out of it well.

I noticed Rollins grab his knee, but expect it to be for the figure four of Ambrose. Concussion vs knee and both killing eachother in the match.

Reigns, meh.

Brock and Heyman working with HHH? Unlikely, more like Heyman getting one over HHH after his plan fails and playing it 'I told you so' still heel, but not with the authority. Plan C...M Punk wouldn't be shocking enough for his return. Brock will destroy Cena, but for Heyman not HHH. Yawn? I hope it's not so basic and there's a good finish.

Cena is clearly being held back to not make it so obvious that Reigns sucks on the mic too, which is killing the point of having Cena as champion. When Reigns just copied what Cena said in a "no, you are, but what am I" level promo, if it was someone who wasn't getting a mega push Cena would have hit back hard and made him look like more of a tool. If he doesn't improve then the Batista likeness will start to show. Or even worse, I'll say a word that will send shivers down your spines... Lashley
