Bully Ray Re-Signs with TNA

Bully Ray has signed a new contract with TNA. He re-signed 3-4 days ago and word is that it's for two years. Ray will continue to wrestle for TNA and work as a backstage agent.

This is the first time in years that Ray and Devon won't be working together in a promotion. They will continue to work together at their Team 3D Academy in Florida. There was talk at Thursday's Impact that TNA "didn't do right by Devon" because he got himself into better shape and did everything asked, including working with younger talents like Garett Bischoff. Some people in TNA were shocked that the company did not re-sign Devon because he was one of the most well liked.

Would have loved him in WWE but only if he got to use his current gimmick.

to be fair though, devon doesnt have a clue when it comes to talking. The crowd do respond a little to his effort in ring, but I haven't seen a fresh devon match for years, pretty much ends up the same whatever. And there isn't really a need for any experience backstage when you have Sting, Hogan, Angle, D-lo and Al Snow.

I'm sure he'll be back if they ever need to push the tag division again though.

As for Bully, good to tie him down as he has been a good heel and can really work the crowd live.

or to sum up, People like devon because he's devon, but people like bully ray now because he has stepped it up to a whole new level.
