WWE Confirms 30-Man Royal Rumble Match

It doesn't make much difference what duration between entrants, its something that changes almost every year. Same for the 30 man thing, just means less jobbers than last year, unfortunate for the Uso's!

I was wondering if they would keep it at 40, just the other day. I assumed they would, even if it was to just to make the task of boosting Kane's record and generally make him look hard, easier.

I can see Ziggler stealing the show, whether that be through cutting promos mid-Rumble, Punk style or him and Swagger entering at 1 and 2 respectively and spending over an hour working together as a team.

I think with the current roster size it'd make sense to have a 40 man Rumble, considering the WWE roster page lists 50 superstars (that aren't the World Champions). Although, a 30 man Rumble means less jobbers who add nothing to the Rumble, see Hornswoggle and Tyson Kidd last year.

The Rumble's a jobbers paradise though, every year you know that at least 25 of them have no chance of winning.
