- As seen on last night's RAW Supershow, Triple H brought up The Undertaker's absence and declared that The Streak ended at WrestleMania 27 because we haven't seen The Deadman since then and he couldn't leave the ring on his own.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Triple H vs. The Undertaker is booked as one of the matches at WrestleMania 28 in Miami.
We noted yesterday that officials have Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk for the WWE Title also penciled in for WrestleMania 28. Add The Rock vs. John Cena and you have the three main events for Miami.
- After promoting the Triple Threat TLC Match between WWE Champion CM Punk, The Miz and Alberto Del Rio as a pinfall or submission match, WWE announced on RAW last night that the belt will be hanging above the ring.
It's worth pointing out that John Cena is still not booked for a TLC pay-per-view match. Cena has wrestled in 11 out of 12 WWE pay-per-view main events this year.
- BG James wrote the following on Twitter last night after returning to RAW:
"It sure felt good to be out there again. These last two days have been awesome for the dogglb. #ohyoudidntknow
I wish @RealBillyGunn was on this ride with me. We have been through a lot together and it would be cool to be sharing this with him. #OUDK"

| If Cena doesn't wrestle they could use this PPV as a test to see if he makes any difference on buys, my guess is TLC will draw quite low numbers due to it being near Christmas so they won't really have any better idea | |

| I cant see it getting a decent buy rate. Its far to close to christmas plus I dont really think the card is worth £15. If it doesnt get a good buy rate, they are most likely going to put it down to that unfortunately as well. | |

| I imagine that Cena will be there in some capacity even if he doesn't wrestle. Perhaps some in-ring promo regarding Kane | |

| It's so refreshing not to have Cena as the focal point of everything. I don't want to derail this thread into another criticism of him, and I know he was in the main event yesterday, but for once, there's other significant stuff going on. Off the top of my head, I can't recall the last time the WWE title picture didn't involve either Cena as the champ, the No 1 Contender, or in a feud over the No 1 Contendership.
Anyway, as for his role at TLC, I hope he doesn't wrestle and perhaps loses his cool a little during a friendly, in-ring Christmas skit. Perhaps Santino Claus (complete with Hornswoggle and Diva elves) inadvertantly pisses off Cena, and receives an Attitude Adjustment for his troubles. No-one would care that much, as it's only Santino, but it's still another significant sign that they are sowing the seeds for a full blown heel turn around Mania time (if that's what they are indeed looking to do).

| Also don't forget he put Henry over clean in the main event and sold for Kane too | |

| He'll probably end up helping Ryder win the US Title.
I really hope Jericho doesnt face Punk at WM28. I hate it when guys come back and take the spotlight way from others like The Miz who have worked their bollocks off all year. I'm not even bothered by Jericho's return. He wasn't thT GOOD IN THE RING ANYWAY IMO. Miz, Rhodes and Ziggler are all better than him and are heels.
Jericho should stick to dancing.

Jericho should stick to dancing. I don't mind seeing Jericho return, his "gelatinous parasites" gimmick felt like it was running out of steam (whether that was down to the character or the tag team with Big Show that I didn't enjoy, I don't know), but he's still an asset to WWE. With that being said, and as you suggested, he's not needed as much currently. I'd also rather see the likes of Rhodes, in particular, given a chance.

| How do you guys feel about the fact that 4of the 6 wrestlers that are talked about in the 3 main events aren't WWE regulars? I mean HHH has been on a handful of Raw's but only wrestled twice since Mania, Taker is just a special attraction at this point, who knows about Jericho and whether his heart is still in it and Rock will be gone as soon as he gets his WrestleMania paycheck.
Would it be better long term if these legends weren't involved? Or does it bring a new audience to watch who might stick around and enjoy some of the younger generation of wrestlers?
In my opinion there is a place for the legends coming back to put younger guys over, in the way that Foley did for Orton and most likely Booker will for Cody but to build a show around these 4 guys doesn't make long term sense. To sum this up the way this is looking the average age of the three main events will be 39!

| Out of the 4 it only Jericho im against. HHH v Taker take care of themselves. They are not getting involved with up and coming stars. The Rock has been building up this match with Cena for a year.
It seems to me Jericho is cashing in on the run in to WM. I believe this is when WWE get more ans. Rumble th WM. For him to straight into a title match on the biggest stage of them all what really gets to me. if he was facing someone like Orton, who is away from the title, then thats ine. Let Jericho get in line for a title shot.

To sum this up the way this is looking the average age of the three main events will be 39! I'm glad Rock is there, he's gonna whack the buy-rates up and take a lot of the focus for the build-up. In a perfect world, it would free up the world title matches for WWE to take some risks - I'd love to see Miz vs Punk on the Raw side, and Orton vs Bryan vs Sheamus on the Smackdown. As for Triple H vs Taker, who else is there for Taker to face? Cena would be the only other guy who could be seen as a real threat to the Streak, and he's kinda busy. For me, the Streak has to go one of two ways - you either go with the match that is going to be the best of the night, or the one where people can see the Streak actually going. WWE has done such a shit job of building new talent, they're basically left with Cena or Triple H. Orton, I'd rather see in the title match outlined above, and booking someone like Wade Barrett, Kane, Cody Rhodes is going to make it too predictable. Jericho, I'd rather he not come back at all. as others have said, I'd rather see Dolph or Cody get the role he'll obviously get.

| I don't particularly want to see Triple H vs Taker III. I don't think their match this year was THAT great and IMO, Triple H kicked Taker's arse so hard and still didn't beat him, that the person who (and it's a very hypothetical situation) ends the Streak is going to have to damn near kill Taker to make the win look legitimate.
However, as Grecian said, there's not many other options left. He did mention Orton though, who I would take over Triple H. Orton's a different character, and an arguably more dangerous threat, than he was 6/7 years ago, so it would place doubt in some people's minds IMO.
Regarding Jericho vs Punk, does anyone think Jericho will get the win or will they solidify Punk's top guy status further, and will Jericho leave shortly after?

| Ah right. Perhaps they will then introduce the girl in the video, when Jericho leaves? Just have him go on about how "she will arrive" from January until the summer. If plans change between now and then, they can just go down the anonymous GM route and mention it less and less. | |

| I dont mind seeing Taker vs HHH again. It was a really good match the last Wrestlemania and Im pritty sure itll be good again.
Id be dissapointed if Jericho was to face Punk though. Id rather see Punk vs Ziggler. Have Ziggler as Laurinitis' number one pick to take the title off him and itd just be good to see Ziggler get a push as hes worked his arse off this year and really deserves it. I especially want to see this match going off how good the match they had on RAW was a few weeks ago but I dont think them facing each other at the Rumble would be a bad idea.
Rock vs Cena is fine by me too as its had decent build looking past the debacle that was the last Mania main event.
I dont really care for Wade Barrett so hes can just get lost really so Id rather Danielson was in the main event than him preferably against Cody Rhodes but thats not going to happen so I dont think that him facing Mark Henry isnt a bad idea.

| If Jericho is actually returning then I have no issues with him being in the main event for Mania, Punk Vs Jericho is a bigger attraction than Punk Vs Ziggler, build Ziggler for a world title match at Summerslam. | |
