Steve Austin to be used at Mania 28?, Harry Smith update, Former WWE stars to return

- The idea of Steve Austin having a role at WrestleMania 28 has been discussed a lot within WWE but those close to the situation say that the odds are against anything big happening, such as Austin wrestling a match.

- People at a recent New Japan Pro Wrestling show were openly talking about former WWE star David Hart Smith returning to work there. Vladimir Kozlov, likely because of his size and experience in combat sports, was also mentioned.

- WWE is looking at bringing back several names from the past over the next year as a way to bring back some of their fans who stopped watching the product. No returns have been confirmed but the usual speculation is names like Mick Foley, Chris Jericho and Batista. Word is that some familiar mid-card names from the past may be brought back also.

Batista, as a heel, I would like to see return but not as a face.

Id really like to see Edge return personally as I think they are missing him badly but obviously thats not going to happen so I would like to see Charlie Haas return. Always liked him for some reason and I always thought he never got a fair crack at a run in WWE except for his Team Angle run.

saw a highlight reel of Batista's comedy moments (intended or not) kept repeating the 'wheres my spotlight' bit when he's in his wheel chair haha

a smaller batista on smackdown would be class, would get a huge reaction and shock alot of people. Plus more people could actually pick him up making more realistic matches. Always makes huge guys look stupid or awful losing to any smaller people
