Paul Young interviews Ted Dibiase Snr regarding a new wrestling company on IWC radio.

PY: Welcome back everyone. I have a special treat for you all. There are rumours flying around IWC that there is a new wrestling company on the horizon. Is this true? If so will they be able to compete with other organizations? Do we need another company? Hopefully I will have answers from my next guest. Welcome Ted Dibiase Snr. Thank you for joining us Ted.

TD: Thanks Paul, nice to be here.

PY: So Ted, are the rumours true? Are we going to see a new wrestling company?

TD: Well Paul, I can confirm the rumours are true. There will be a new wrestling company and I will be running the show. Many people know me from my WWF days as ‘The Million Dollar Man’. Going forward, that is what I will be known as, ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted Dibiase. I have spoke and agreed a deal with Vince McMahon for me to use it.

PY: Do you have a name for this company? What size roster do you have? Who are your star names?

TD: The Company is called ‘Future Wrestling Organization’, FWO for short. I believe we are the future. I’m not going to sit here and say we will be the biggest company in the business, that would be stupid, but I do believe we will attract fans. I have a one-year plan. If it goes well we will continue. If I’m honest I don’t expect to make a profit in the first twelve months but if it works, it will be worth it. We’ll get top stars joining FWO, get fans in seats, get a TV deal, get the PPV buy rates up and things like that.
The size of the roster isn’t going to be huge. I’m looking for around thirty superstars in total. We have some new comers and household names, along with a few surprises. We are going to have a weekly show every Wednesday night from Chicago, Illinois. The arena will be known as ‘The Circus’. Every four weeks we will have a PPV. There are some good times ahead.

PY: You mentioned your roster. What names can we look out for? Who are these household names?

TD: We have a few guys that I’d be surprised if anyone has heard of but I’d say you have heard of the majority of them. Most of them will keep their names they are known as. I have made deals with both Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter. You know with ‘The Million Dollar Man’ everyone has a price!

PY: Who has joined the FWO??

TD: For starters I think our tag team division will be very good. The first name I’ve brought in is my son Ted Dibiase Jnr. He has come with Cody Rhodes to re-make the team ‘Priceless’. In WWE and TNA, their tag team division isn’t as good as it should be. Anther team that’s come to us is a team called ‘Hart Legacy’, formerly known as ‘The Hart Dynesty’. Tyson Kidd and David Smith make that team up, managed by Natalya of course.

PY: A few big names there Ted, any more?

TD: Indeed there is Paul, Another three teams. John Morrison has joined from WWE. He was huge as a tag team wrestler Joey Mercury and The Miz. He didn’t do to well as a singles star in my opinion, so I called him up and asked if he was interested in teaming up with Joey Mercury again and reforming ‘MNM’. He liked the idea.

PY: Does that mean Melina is joining also?

TD: I’m afraid not. She decided to stay where she is, but we will keep with the name ‘MNM’.

PY: Who are the other two teams that have joined the FWO?

TD: Well Paul, the first team is the ‘Latin American Xchange from TNA. Hernandez and Homicide. We’ve signed them up and will simply be known as ‘LAX’. Hernandez wasn’t happy in his role in the Mexican American storyline and he missed working with Homicide. Homicide was doing shows with Ring of Honour.

PY: Wow!! That seems a good start to your tag team division. Who is your fifth team?

TD: An exciting young tag team Paul. No one will of heard of these. They are known as Scorpio and Tarantula. They are a slightly smaller version of Legion of Doom with a similar appearance of Sting. Face paint etc. Tarantula is the bigger of the two weighing around 270lbs and just over six feet tall. He’s the power of the team. Scorpio is around the 250lb mark and slightly smaller. Two exciting young guys. They are a team to watch.

PY: I can’t wait. Can you shed some light on any other Superstars?

TD: I’ll tell you the guys that you probably haven’t heard of. First we have a hometown guy by the name of Leroy Brown. Chicago born and bread. He still thinks Chicago is in the 1960’s. He’s a wannabe gangster type who will latch on to most and try and buy his way out of trouble. He’s around 300lbs and has a background in bare-knuckle boxing.
Cornel Jones, an ex US solider is on the roster. If you have played the video game ‘Street Fighter’ and seen the character ‘Guile’, you have Cornel Jones – apart from Jones has ginger hair rather than blonde. Mixed martial arts expert too. I’m sure he’ll keep things right around here.

PY: It’s starting to get interesting. You’ve clearly done your homework.

TD: I have Paul, there is no point investing all this money without looking into it. Another guy I want to tell you about is Samurai. We know very little about him. We found him while we were scouting in Japan. He wrestles under a mask. Very agile and weighs around 190lbs. He’s a high flyer and i've seen him do some amazing stuff in the ring. Unfortunately that’s all I can tell you about him because that’s all we know.

PY: A bit of a mystery then?

TD: He is, but as I say, very good in the ring. Jimmy Flame is here also. A happy go lucky guy, wears his heart on his sleeve and likes to be popular with the fans. He’s around the 220lbs. He reminds me of a young Billy Kidman.

PY: I must admit, I’m liking the sound of the FWO.

TD: I’m pleased. Let me tell you about another guy that is pretty unknown to most. Can you remember around fifteen years ago, there was a wrestler called Vader?

PY: Yes, I think he was under used in WWF. Have you signed him?

TD: Hahahaha no, not quite. We have signed up his son Jesse White. Not as big as Vader and still has a lot to learn. We seen potential in him so gave him a contract.

PY: Obviously you have signed guys we have heard of, can you let us know who they are?

TD: Well I’ll tell you a few. These guys are not with WWE or TNA. The first guy we’ve signed is none other than Jeff Hardy.

PY: Your kidding?

TD: No, I’m not. Yes, he has had his troubles and personal issues but I’ve personally sat with him and discussed different things. He is now clean of drugs and wants to put the court case behind him and get back into wrestling. WWE were waiting to see if he really was clean before signing him. He was doing the rounds on the independent circuit. When I heard this I thought it is too good of an opportunity to turn down.

PY: Do you not think this is a major risk?

TD: Of course I do. Starting up FWO is a huge risk. As I said earlier the first year is more than likely to be non profitable so it’s all a risk.

PY: Is this not a publicity stunt to get people in seats Ted?

TD: To me, no its not but if people think that there is nothing I can do. Jeff Hardy is free of drugs. With a bit of support form us I’m positive he will do well. Jeff Hardy is one of the biggest stars around. Why shouldn’t we sign him up? Because of his past? I’m willing to take that chance. Anyway, if it works like a publicity stunt, people will be still talking about the FWO, which will get attendances up at The Circus, so in my eyes it’s a win-win, but no question, Jeff Hardy is still one of the best.

PY: I can’t argue with that but I still think it’s a bit risky. Who else have you snapped up?

TD: We have signed MVP. He’ll not be called Montel Vontavious Porter any more, Just simply ‘MVP’.

PY: Did you approach him while he was in the WWE? Are you the reason why he asked for his release?

TD: Hahaha no not at all. While we were in Japan I was him at a few house shows. I asked him if he was interested. At first he wasn’t, saying he was happy in Japan. We left it at that. Two days before we were about to leave I got a call from MVP asking to meet. We met the next day, I told him my plans and we discussed a contract there and then. He has a few commitments in Japan before he joins us, but when he does he will be a great addition to the roster.

PY: He certainly will. Are you going to give us any more names?

TD: I’ve signed two guys that are not American. The first is the Frenchman Renee Dupree. People remember him from his time in La Resistance in WWE. He’s a good athlete so we are going to give him a try.

PY: Good addition. Who’s the other non-American?

TD: Paul, if you think signing Jeff hardy was a risk, this is an even bigger one. Can you remember the Middle Eastern Nightmare, Mohammad Hassan?

PY: You have signed him?

TD: We have. His WWE career ended through no fault of his own. Obviously after 9/11 Vince didn’t want to take a chance with him being on TV. He quit wrestling after that and was a schoolteacher until I tracked him down. We sat down and spoke about my ideas and what I had planned for him. He seemed impressed but stated he hadn’t been in a ring for around 8 years. He’s a great athlete and has kept himself in shape. We gave him a few try out matches with Leroy Brown and Jimmy Flame. A bit rusty, as expected, but he done ok, so we offered him a contract in FWO.

PY: Are you scared of the reactions towards him by the fans, because there will be brutal. The fans haven’t forgotten what happened 10 years ago?

TD: A little yes but it’s a risk I’m willing to take. We both know he won’t be a fan favourite anytime soon and he understands that. Wrestling is a show at the end of the day and wrestling fans should look past his character and they will see what a good wrestler he is. Hassan is expecting abuse from the fans. He is a quiet lad and very nervous. He is 30 at the end of the year so still a rookie. I’ve told him to go out and enjoy himself and we’ll take it from there.

PY: It certainly will make interesting TV. Any other names you can share with us?

TD: I hope it does make interesting TV, that will mean people are watching! We have signed three other guys to FWO but I am keeping them a secret for now.

PY: You can’t leave it at that. Can you give the listeners a clue?

TD: The only clue I will give you is we have signed three of the biggest household names in wrestling over the past 5 years.

PY: Really? Surely you can give us more than that?

TD: No Paul, that’s all you getting. There are more guys signed up. Austin Aries from Ring of Honour is coming along. An exciting prospect. I’m surprised TNA didn’t give him a longer contract than the one he got. I believe Austin is taking a huge risk joining us joining FWO to be fair. He is talented and is yet to hit his prime.

PY: I’ve heard good things about him but not seen a great deal of his work. Come on then, tell us the rest of your roster.

TD: Now now Paul I’m not going to give away my entire roster in a radio interview. I’ve got to leave some surprises’ otherwise fans won’t be watching.

PY: In all fairness, you have only really given us one huge name joining and that is Jeff Hardy.

TD: This is true but as I said in the beginning we are having four weekly shows then a PPV after the fourth week. I’ll guarantee you that by the end of the first PPV you will know our entire roster.

PY: OK, it looks like I’m not going to get it out of you. Can you tell us a little more about your company?

TD: I will. Obviously we will have a FWO world champion and FWO tag team champions. We are also going to have a third title. We are calling it the Chicago Title. I know it may sound silly but it is in honour of the city of Chicago. While I was going around America looking for venues to hold the FWO, not many places wanted to know. Bosses at the Circus listened to our plan and our ideas and we negotiated a twelve-month deal. In return every Wednesday we will hold our weekly show from there. The Chicago Title is a bit like the WWE’s equilivent to the Intercontinental Title.

PY: Is there a need for a third title? Is your roster big enough?

TD: I believe so. Obviously everyone wants to be world champion but realistically there will be guys left out of the main event scene. I believe having the Chicago Title will give them something to aim for going for the big one. Of course there will be guys who will go straight for the world title but I believe the Chicago Championship is worth holding also.

PY: I understand your thinking. Regarding your shows and PPV’s. Do you have names for these? WWE have Raw and SmackDown, TNA have Impact wrestling. What do you have?

TD: We have most of our PPV names sorted. All will be revealed in due course but our first PPV is called FWO: Blast Off. Simply because its our first PPV. Our weekly show is called FWO: Wild Wednesday.

PY: Where can fans by tickets to attend these events or watch these events etc?

TD: You can watch it all at FWO.com at a very reasonable price. Check out the website for more details. If you want to attend a live event you can get tickets from FWO.com or from.

PY: Have you not got a TV deal?

TD: Not yet but we are in the process of signing one. There is a plan in place and they want to see how we do before committing, which is ok with us. They don’t want to give us the deal and we don’t succeed and they loose out. I’d imagine if all goes well we will be on TV within 2 months.

PY: Will you be taking the FWO on tour?

TD: For starters no. The first three months will be from The Circus. FWO Wild Wednesday will be from The Circus for the first 12 months and the PPV’s will be from there for at least 3 months. Bosses at The Circus were kind enough to listen to my plan and give me a deal so I feel a loyalty to them. It holds around 14 thousand so fingers crossed, there will be good crowds.

PY: That’s fair enough. Loyalty will help you out in the future I’d hope. You have told us quite a bit about the FWO, the roster, the venue and titles etc, but why did you start it up? You refer to ‘we’. Who are “we”?

TD: To be honest it’s something I’ve thought about it for a while. The “we” I refer to is my backroom staff. Two talent scouts and a couple of lawyers. The hardest part is getting the roster together. If I done that then I thought the rest would fall into place. The reason I done it now was because I feel there is too much talent out there. There are guys who are in WWE and TNA who are not getting TV time because of the size of their roster or are not getting used to their full potential. FWO is about giving people a chance to show what they can do. This is one reason why my roster isn’t as big as others.

PY: Thank you for coming in Ted. I’m looking forward to watching FWO. I hope you get a TV deal soon but for now everyone tune in July 6th for FWO: Wild Wednesday. Check local listings for times.

Extract from The Wrestling Observer – Friday July 1st 2011

Quote :
This Wednesday sees the debut of a new wrestling company. It’s called Future Wrestling Organisation, known as the FWO, which has been put together by The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. He hasn’t got a TV deal as of yet so the only way to see the action is at FWO.com. Ted Dibiase has a roster of around 30 guys, 10 of which are the tag team division. Admittedly there tag team division looks good but the rest of the roster looks a bit weak. Only Jeff Hardy and MVP as household names. Ted says he doesn’t want to give too much away but he needs names to attract viewers. I caught up with one of their commentators Bradley Pringle regarding the FWO roster. This is what he had to say. “Our roster is exciting and full of prospect. I know Mr Dibiase hasn’t revealed the entire roster but I’ve heard that he has signed three of the best free agents at this moment in time, along with a few guys joining from TNA and WWE. I know a couple of surprises but not all of them and no, I’m not going to reveal them to you.

Austin Aries is a star for the future. He is well known in wrestling but because he’s not in WWE or TNA people don’t know what great things he can do.”

In regards to the TV deal, here are some of his comments. “We hope to have a TV deal within 6 weeks. We have someone interested but they want to see our plan in action before signing the deal”.

This is certainly a big challenge from The Million Dollar Man. We wish him all the best. FWO Wild Wednesday starts this Wednesday July 6th on FWO.com.

The clue's in the fact this thread is in the 'Roleplay and Fantasy Booking' thread! Rolling Eyes

Although it's credit to Mackem you thought it was real, very detailed and look forward to reading through, will you be posting the shows on a Wednesday every week or as and when?

Wild Wednesday – July 6th, 2011.

Show opens with ‘The Million Dollar man’ Ted Dibiase standing in the ring with his music playing. He begins to speak.

TD: This is the debut of the FWO. Thank you and welcome everyone to FWO Wild Wednesday. Thank you to everyone watching on FWO.com. I promise to bring you exciting times. I want to introduce you to a few people. Firstly, our commentators. On your left we have Bradley Pringle and on your right is Charlie Speed. Our referees in the back are Cory Jacobs and Dennis Fisher. Our Ring announcer is Phil Kruger.
Now, down to business. We have three championships to be won. The FWO Tag Team titles, The Chicago title and of course, the FWO World title. Over the next four weeks we will have qualifying matches to see who goes into a mini tournament to compete for the FWO World title at our first PPV on July 31st. The PPV is called FWO: Blast Off. Other qualifying matches will take place to see who challenges for the tag team titles and the Chicago Title respectfully.
Our entire roster hasn’t been revealed yet but by the end of Blast Off, it will have. You all know MVP has joined but he won’t be here until August due to commitments in Japan. Other superstars will be making their debuts over the next few weeks. This week we have the start of our qualifying matches. This week’s main event will see Cornel Jones against a mystery opponent. This guy you all know very well. The winner will go on to FWO: Blast Off to compete in the mini tournament for the FWO Title! We also have a #1 contenders match for the Chicago Title. It will be Austin Aries v Renee Dupree v Jesse White v a mystery opponent in an elimination fatal 4-way match. The winner will go on to the PPV. And our Tag Team Competition kicks off with a #1 contenders match between MNM and LAX. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.

Ted Dibiase’s music hits and he waves to the crowd before heading out the ring.

Bradley Pringle (BP): Wow, what a start to FWO. Three huge matches tonight that will lead to Blast Off hey Charlie?

Charlie Speed (CS): I can’t wait. A few mystery opponents tonight. I’m especially looking forward to seeing Cornel Jones in action, but who is his opponent? A household name he said. Who can it…

Ted Dibiase’s music stops and other music plays. Dibiase looks shocked and gets back into the ring. From behind the curtain a man appears with a towel over his head. The crowd go wild. He makes his way to the ring.

BP: Is that who I think it is?

CS: It’s got to be.

BP: Its Samoa Joe!

Joe: Sorry to spoil your surprise Teddy. No one keeps me waiting. I want everyone to know that I’m here, and here to win things. I’m telling you all now that I am the guy facing Cornel Jones in the main event. I don’t want any excuses when I beat him later tonight. I want him to know its me he’s facing. Jones, one thing is for certain, Joe is going to kill you.

Samoa Joe throws the mic towards Ted Dibiase and heads back to the locker room.

BP: The boss doesn’t look happy about this. He has had his main event spoilt and he couldn’t do anything about it.

CS: No he didn’t Brad but look on the plus side, Samoa Joe in FWO. Who else is joining?

BP: I don’t know but I can’t wait. Lets get started on our first official match in FWO where the winners between MNM and LAX will go on to Blast Off to compete for the FWO tag team titles.

LAX vs. MNM (#1 Contenders match for the FWO Tag Team Titles).Match Report:

John Morrison and Joey Mercury look rusty early on with little mistakes while on the offence. They get the upper hand after a high-risk move from Homicide went wrong. Quick tags in and out from MNM worked well until another mistake saw them clothesline each other. Homicide makes the tag. Hernandez comes in and dominates both. All four guys end up in the ring. Bodies flying everywhere. Referee Dennis Fisher has lost all control and hasn’t a clue who the legal men are. Hernandez picks up Mercury and throws him to the outside. Hernandez then dives across the top rope onto him leaving both men on the floor outside the ring. John Morrison and Homicide are left in the ring. Fast pace action follows with a few near falls. Homicide goes to the top rope to attempt a high cross body. Morrison catches him with a super kick. Morrison rolls over Homicide and pins him. 1-2-3. Winners: MNM.

CS: An excellent opening to the FWO. Two good teams there. It’s a pity there had to be a loser. Two fan favourites there I think.

BP: Do you think they are interested if they are fan favourites or not Charlie? Come on, they are here to win and MNM wanted it more. They go on to Blast Off to wrestle for the FWO Tag Team Titles.

Back Stage Segment in Ted Dibiase’s office. He’s looking through paperwork. There is a knock at the door.

TD: Go Away!

Leroy Brown (LB): Hey Boss, its me.

TD: I said go away!

LB: Give me a minute. I saw what Samoa Joe did to you out there. No respect for a legend like The Million Dollar Man.

TD: Leroy, what do you want?

LB: Well boss, let me sort it out. Let me show Samoa Joe what respect is. You brought me here and I’m grateful for that. Let me show you my gratitude. His career was going nowhere in TNA and now you give him an opportunity here in FWO and for a chance at the World Title. You saved his career, then he goes and shows you up? He has to know who’s boss around here. This is the first show. Do you want people to think you are a push over? I know I wouldn’t. These guys coming in will think they have it easy.

TD: What do you have in mind?

LB: Well boss, if the price is right I can sort it. You are The Million Dollar Man. You can afford it, I can make sure he doesn’t make the main event at Blast Off.

TD: You are suggesting that I pay you to take out Joe?

LB: That’s the way I work boss. This is Chicago, my hometown. I have a rep to protect. I know people. I can’t let them think I’m going soft.

TD: A rep to protect huh? Well let me think about it and I’ll come and find you…….

End of segment. Back to ringside.

BP: Leroy Brown seems to be making an impression on Ted Dibiase. He seems like a character to watch out for in the coming weeks.

CS: I like the look of him too. Chicago born and bread, he’ll be a hand full. Will Mr Dibiase take him up on his offer?

BP: Hard to say Charlie but one thing is for certain, Ted Dibiase isn’t a push over and won’t want Samoa Joe to have the upper hand. Coming up next we have our Fatal 4-Way elimination match ~#1 contenders match for The Chicago Title. The winner will go on to FWO Blast Off!

Ring announcer Phil Kruger has introduced Austin Aries, Jesse White and Renee Dupree.

Phil: The forth and final opponent, weighing in at 305lbs, from Brooksville Florida, Husky Harris!

CS: Husky Harris? Its Husky Harris? He’s in the FWO Bra. This is going to be one hell of a match!

BP: He was sent back to development in the WWE. Maybe he got sick of waiting. It looks like he’s here to make an impact!

Austin Aries vs. Jessie White vs. Husky Harris vs. Renee Dupree
Fatal 4-way elimination #1 contenders match for The Chicago Title.

Match Report.

Match starts with all four men in the ring. Harris goes for Dupree while Austin Aries & Jesse White tie up. Harris takes control of Dupree, unloading on him with heavy punches, using his weight to squash him in the corner. He Irish whips Dupree to the opposite corner and runs at him for a big splash. Renee Dupree moves out of the way causing Husky Harris to crouch in pain in the corner. Renee Dupree is laying on the mat under the bottom rope.
Meanwhile Jesse White looks to be in control of Austin Aries, but he does look a little nervous. This is Jesse’s 1st match in these conditions. He picks up Aries & slams him to the ground. White goes up to the second rope, ready to hit the Vader Bomb, a move in honour of his father. Jesse took his time getting up there. He jumps, he’s in mid air and Aries moves out of the way. White hits nothing but canvas. Austin Aries quickly get up and gets on the top rope and hits Jesse with the 450 Slash. 1-2-3. Jesse White is eliminated.
Aries gets to his feet and goes over to Husky Harris. He offers his hand to help up Harris. Husky Harris looks at him then eventually takes it. Both men are on their feet and look over to Renee Dupree who is who is now standing in the corner looking dazed. Husky Harris starts to walk over to Dupree. Then from behind, Austin Aries hits Harris with a chop lock. Harris goes down. Both Dupree and Aries go to work on Harris. Double suplexes, double clotheslines etc. Big double team impact moves. Husky starts to fight back and catches Austin Aries with a Clothesline of his own. Dupree goes back to the leg of Harris and regains control with a kick to the back of the leg. Harris goes down again. Dupree sets Harris up for the figure four leg lock. Husky is screaming in pain. Austin Aries has come round and finds himself climbing to the top rope again. He’s looking for the 450 Splash again. He hits it, but not on Husky Harris. He aimed and hit Renee Dupree as he was closer to the corner. Aries goes for the pin. Dupree, winded and unable to unlock his legs from Husky is stuck. 1-2-3. Renee Dupree is eliminated.
It’s down to the final two. Austin Aries and Husky Harris. Harris can’t even stand up. The crowd is chanting “Husky, Husky”. He crawls over to the rope and climbs to his feet, only to be hit with a drop kick by Aries. Aries continues to work on his leg, stretching it all ways possible. Husky won’t tape out. Getting annoyed with himself, Aries goes outside for a steal chair. Harris is on his feet again. When Aries gets into the ring with the chair, referee Cory Jacobs takes it off him. Aries goes over to Harris and gives him a blow while the referee is getting rid of the chair. The ref never saw a thing. Harris goes down again. Austin Aries goes to the top rope and hits the 450 Splash once more. 1-2-3. Husky Harris is eliminated.
Winner: Austin Aries.

BP: An incredible match. Austin Aries pinned all three of his opponents.

CS: He used some dirty tactics though Brad, Chop lock and then grabbing the chair to distract the referee so he could get the low blow in without getting caught.

BP: It makes no difference Charlie. He did what he had to do. He got the win. He’s going to Blast Off and is one step away from becoming The Chicago Champion.

CS: I don’t agree with his tactics at all.

BP: You wouldn’t! Anyway, lets go back stage in The Circus. Big Bob Summer is standing by with a special guest.

BBS: Thanks Bradley. Joining me at this time is a guy who has joined the FWO. He is a third generation star. He has joined from the WWE and he will make his debut next week. Please Welcome Joe Hennig.

Joe Hennig (JH): Hello Bob. Thanks for the introduction and thank you for introducing by me proper name. Yes that’s right folks, my name is Joe Hennig. Most of you will know me as Michael McGillicutty. That was the name given to me by the WWE. I wanted to use my real name but they wouldn’t let me.

BBS: Is that why you left?

JH: Partially. I am proud of my family name. My grandfather, Larry ‘The Axe’ Hennig and my father Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig were huge superstars in wrestling. I wanted to continue the Hennig name. For some reason Vince McMahon didn’t agree. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for my chance for my chance in WWE but I felt I couldn’t go any further in my career other than a tag team wrestler. Under the name McGillicutty, tag team competition was all I would of done. No dis-respect to tag team wrestlers, but I see myself as a singles wrestler.

BBS: What else brings you to the FWO?

JH: I met with Ted Dibiase who asked me to join. I asked him his plans. He told me he thought myself and Husky Harris would make a great tag team and that the WWE had missed a trick not putting us together. I told him I wasn’t interested in tag team wrestling and pretty much told him what I told you just now. We chatted a little more and he said he’d see what he could do and get back to me.

BBS: I take it he called?

JH: He sure did Big Bob. After an hour or so of our meeting he called me asking to meet the following day. I agreed but I didn’t have much hope of a successful meeting if I’m honest. We spoke. He told me the new plans he had for me. I thought why not. He was letting me use my family name and that was a big factor in me joining.

BBS: Its good to have you here. You are making you’re your debut next week here on FWO Wild Wednesday. Can you tell us who you are facing in The Circus?

JH: I can. Next week I will be in a Fatal 4-way match where the winner will go to Blast Off to face Austin Aries for the Chicago Title. My opponents are Jimmy Flame, Samurai and a mystery opponent, and before you ask no I don’t know who he is.

BBS: Ah right. Are you looking forward to it?

JH: I am Bob. I have two aims. Firstly I want to win the Chicago Title. Secondly I want to get my hands on Austin Aries. He’s hurt my friend and when you hurt my friends you hurt me.

BBS: Husky is a close friend of yours. Have you two spoke since joining the FWO?

JH: Not a great deal no. I briefly spoke to him before his match. Getting back to Aries, I didn’t like the way he went about his business on Husky. I think Husky is going to be out for a while.

BBS: Has that been confirmed?

JH: Not yet but the way he was holding his leg it looked bad. So in return I am going to win next week, then win at Blast Off and become the first Chicago Champion. Beating Austin Aries along the way will be a sweeter victory.

BBS: Thanks Joe Hennig. There you have it. Joe Hennig in the FWO. He’s debuting next week and he wants his hands on Austin Aries, but most of all he wants the Chicago Title. Bradley, Charlie, back to you.

BP: Thanks Bob. Charlie, Joe Hennig in the FWO. What do you think?

CS: An excellent young talent. I’m looking forward to seeing him in action.

BP: I think he’s a bit big headed. You saw what Austin Aries did to Husky Harris in the last match? If Hennig gets that far, do you really think he’ll beat Aries?

CS: Yes I do!

BP: You are deluded. Ladies and Gentlemen I have some breaking news. Husky Harris has torn ligaments and will be out of action for some time. Charlie, what do you think about that? Do you think Hennig will still want to get his hands on Austin Aries?

CS: Even more so now. Lets go to ring announcer Phil Kruger for our main event.
Samoa Joe vs. Cornel Jones.
Match Report.

A fierce battle takes place. Back and fourth match. Jones hits Joe with a few martial arts kicks. Joe returns the compliment with licks of his own. Experience starts to kick in and Samoa Joe begins to take advantage at a fast pace. He then slows the pace down and hits Cornel Jones with a sleeper. Jones won’t give up. He is swung of the ropes and is hit with a fall away slam. 1-2, another kick out by the ex US solider. Joe is starting to get frustrated he can’t pick up the win. Leroy Brown starts to make his way down the aisle. Samoa Joe seems distracted, he goes for a suplex but it is reversed. Leroy Brown is now at ringside. Cornel Jones sees him and tells him to go back to the locker room. Leroy Brown ignores this. Joe and Jones continue to battle. Jones has the power advantage slightly and it’s starting to show. A scoop slam followed by three elbows. He pats his arm setting himself for his finisher, which he calls ‘The Punisher’. He swings Joe off the ropes but Joe reverses it. Leroy Brown turned away and hooks the foot of Cornel Jones, and starts to walk up the aisle without looking back. Cornel Jones is screaming at Brown. He turns towards Joe and gets a kick to the chin. Jones is stunned. Samoa Joe picks him up and puts him on the top turnbuckle and sets him up for the Muscle Buster. He hits it. 1-2-3. Winner is Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe’s music hits. Leroy Brown, who still hadn’t looked at the ring since his interference, stops still and looks back. He sees Samoa Joe’s hand raised in victory.

BP: A great win for Samoa Joe. He is going to Blast Off and is two wins away from becoming FWO World Champion, but what an effort from Cornel Jones. Samoa Jones certainly had his hands full.

CS: What about the interference from Leroy Brown? Did The Million Dollar Man pay him to stop Joe? What will he do to Leroy Brown for messing it up?

BP: I don’t know but by the look on Leroy’s face, I assume that what he had in mind didn’t go to plan.

CS: Thanks for joining. Tune in next week for FWO Wild Wednesday. Goodnight!

Show ends with Leroy Brown Staring at the ring at Samoa Joe

Wild Wednesday – July 13th, 2011

Bradley Pringle (BP): Good evening and welcome to FWO Wild Wednesday. Our roster is starting to take shape with two debuts last week in Samoa Joe and Husky Harris. I wonder if we’ll have any more join us at The Circus here in Chicago?

Charlie Speed (CS): I do hope so Brad. We already know Joe Hennig is debuting tonight and a mystery opponent will be here too. Also, what mood will Ted Dibiase be in after Samoa Joe’s victory last week. Leroy Brown looked in shock after what he had done.

BP: Time will tell. Lets get things started. Coming up we have the Fatal 4-way Elimination match. Lets send it up to ring announcer Phil Kruger.

PK: Our opening contest is an Elimination Fatal 4-way match. The winner will face Austin Aries for the Chicago Title at FWO Blast Off. Introducing first…

There is a pause. Phil Kruger puts his hand to his earpiece.

PK: From Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 225lbs, Showtime Eric Young!

BP: Eric Young! Eric Young has joined the FWO!

Eric Young vs. Jimmy Flame vs. Joe Hennig vs. Samurai
Match Report:

Samurai impresses on his debut. He can certainly fly around the ring. He and have been going back and fourth. Joe Hennig and Eric Young have mainly been doing mat wrestling. No silly Gimmicks from Eric Young, all business and very serious. He catches Joe Hennig with a DDT. Jimmy Flame and Samurai find themselves on the top rope. Flame blocks a super plex and pushes Samurai to the mat. Flame sees Eric Young standing in the middle of the ring. He jumps and hits Young with the high cross body. His momentum continues and he rolls over Eric Young’s head and young ends up on top of him. Young has the cover. Jimmy Flame can’t kick out. 1-2-3. Jimmy Flame is eliminated.
Joe Hennig and Eric Young are down in the ring. Samurai is starting to climb back into the ring. He sees the other two guys lying on the mat. He crawls over to Hennig and goes for the pin. He gets the two count. Eric Young is now on his feet and picks up Samurai and puts him in a sleeper. Samurai fights it and drops himself with Eric Young knocking his chin on the top of Samurai’s head. Joe Hennig gets to his feet and goes across to Samurai. The two start throwing punches. Joe has the power advantage and gets the better of Samurai. He throws Samurai off the rope. Samurai comes back off the rope and hits Hennig with a Hurricarunna. He gets up and faces Eric Young. Eric goes for a clothesline. Samurai ducks and hits Young with a face buster. He then looks up to the crowd who are on their feet. He goes to the corner and hits Eric Young with a split legged moonsault. 1-2-3. Eric Young is Eliminated.
It’s down to the final two. Samurai has the momentum. He runs and jumps on the idle rope and turns it into a high cross body. Near fall follows. He picks up Hennig and slams him near the corner. He gives the look to the crowd again and taps the top turnbuckle. He goes for the split legged moonsault but misses it. Hennig rolled out of the way. After a few moments both men get to their feet. Samurai swings at Hennig. Hennig ducks and plants an atomic drop on Samurai. He then spins him round for a back breaker. Hennig is in control. Samurai tries to find some offensive move but Hennig has counters for them all. He sets Samurai up for the Perfect Plex. He hits it. 1-2-3.
Winner: Joe Hennig.

BP: What a match. That was unbelievable. Non-stop action in that one. Samurai really shone in that match, but its Joe Hennig going to Blast Off to face Austin Aries for The Chicago Title.

CS: That is a match I’m looking forward to Brad. Perhaps a little revenge on Aries from Joe Hennig for his buddy Husky Harris?

BP: Why do you keep bringing that up? Seriously, Austin Aries got the job done. He’s here to win. It makes no difference how he won. He’s one win away from becoming…

They are interrupted by the sound of Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase’s music. He’s walking to the ring.

BP: He doesn’t look happy Charlie. This could be interesting.

CS: Lets see what he has to say.

Ted Dibiase is in the ring with a mic.

TD: Well that was an interesting week last week in The Circus. Things didn’t exactly go to plan. Firstly Samoa Joe spoiling my surprise, then goes and beats Cornel Jones to advance to Blast Off. Joe, I will deal with you another time. Now to tonight. We have Hart Legacy taking on Scorpio and Tarantella. The winners will face MNM at Blast Off for the FWO Tag Team Titles. Now for Cornel Jones. He couldn’t get the job done last week so I think he should be punished. He is an ex solider after all so I assume he can take it. If not, well, that’s his problem. He will be in a handicap match against Priceless. Good luck in that one.

Leroy Brown’s music hits and he comes to the ring.

Leroy Brown (LB): Boss, before you say anything I’m sorry. I messed up.

TD: Damn right you messed up. I paid you good money and you couldn’t get the job done either!

LB: Give me another chance Boss.

TD: How!? Joe is already going to Blast Off!

LB: Yeah, but I can make sure he doesn’t get to the title match. I win tonight, go to Blast Off and beat Joe in the first bracket. Then I can go on and become FWO Champion.

TD: So you mess up and I give you an opportunity you win the FWO Title?

LB: Yes boss but the main thing is I’m stopping Samoa Joe from having any chance of winning it.

TD: Hmm, you know what, you’ve got your wish, but you better get the job done this time. In tonight’s main event the winner will go to FWO Blast Off to face Samoa Joe in the first Bracket towards the FWO Title. It will be Leroy Brown taking on Jeff Hardy!

Leroy Brown is standing in the middle of the ring with his mouth open as Ted Dibiase walks back down the aisle.

BP: Leroy Brown gets his chance to make it upto the boss, but he has to get past none other than Jeff Hardy! Ted Dibiase isn’t making it easy for him.

CS: Ted Dibiase is no push over, but putting Cornel Jones in a handicap match, is that fair?

BP: It doesn’t have to be fair Charlie. He’s the boss. He can do what he wants. Does he have to run everything by you?

CS: I’m not saying that.

BP: It sounds like that to me! Lets get on with the show you keep quiet. Up next we have Scorpio and Tarantella vs. The Hart Legacy. The winners will go on to Blast Off to face MNM for the FWO tag team titles.

Scorpio & Tarantella vs. The Hart Legacy.
Match report.

This is our first look at Scorpio and Tarantella. They look pretty solid. Tyson Kidd and Treacle are in the ring. Tarantella is slowing the pace down, stretching Kidd in various moves, working on Tyson’s shoulder. Natalya is in the corner banging the mat to get the crowd involved. Quick tags in and out from Scorpio and Tarantella. Scorpio goes to the top rope while Tarantella is holding Kidd’s arm. Double Axe Handle down on the shoulder. Scorpio continues to wear down Tyson Kidd. He goes for the suplex. He has Kidd up. Kidd lands behind Scorpio on his feet and Drop Kicks him into the corner. Tyson Kidd makes the tag to David Smith. Scorpio tags Tarantella. The two power houses go at it. A scoop slam from Tarantella but he misses the elbow straight after. Smith hits him with an elbow of his own and follows it up with a back drop. He tags Tyson Kidd. They double team him by throwing him of the rope and hit a double back drop. Scorpio tries to get involved, the ref Cory Jacobs stops him and David Smith hits a back breaker and holds him there. Tyson Kidd goes to the middle rope and hits Tarantella with an elbow drop and goes for the pin. 1-2-3.
Winners: Hart Legacy.

CS: Another match set up for Blast off Brad. A good win for the Hart Legacy. They will take on MNM for the FWO tag team titles.

BP: It will be a good match. I’m liking the look of the FWO Blast Off, Especially the match fro The Chicago Title. Lets go back stage with Big Bob Summer who has someone with him.

BBS: Thanks Bradley. My guest at this time is none other than Austin Aries. Double A, welcome. In 3 weeks time you will face Joe Hennig for The Chicago Title. What are your thoughts?

Austin Aries (AA): My thought? I only have one thought. That is to win. It doesn’t matter who I’m facing. The outcome will be the same. New Chicago Champion, Austin Aries.

BBS: Austin, many people say that you used dirty tactics last week to get the victory. What do you say to that?

AA: I don’t care what people think. I pinned al three of my opponents last week on my own. It doesn’t matter how I won. The main thing is I won.

BBS: You have put Husky Harris on the shelf for sometime.

AA: It wasn’t just me. Did you watch the match? Renee Dupree done his bit too.

BBS: Yes, but you started it with a chop lock.

AA: Look, I saw an opening so I took advantage, end of story.

BBS: Joe Hennig said he was going to get some revenge for his pal when you two meet at Blast Off.

AA: Joe Hennig should concentrate on the title and not helping his buddy, because that’s all I’m thinking about. I’m going to win the Chicago Title, no matter how I do it!

BBS: There you have it. Austin Aries is focused and is ready for Blast Off. Bradley and Charlie, back to you guys at ringside.

BP: Charlie, how confident does Austin Aries sound. He is on a mission. I like his confidence.

CS: He’s confident but also a bit big headed.

BP: How is he big headed? Everything he said is true. Don’t tell me you wouldn’t do the same?

CS: NO I wouldn’t. It’s not my way.

BP: Well you are an idiot. Speaking of idiots, up next Cornel Jones has a tough job on his hands against Priceless.

2 on 1 handicap match: Priceless vs. Cornel Jones
Match Report:

Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jnr double team Cornel Jones from the get go. Jones is a tough guy and kicked out of a number of near falls. Double back drop followed by double suplex continued to wear him down. Priceless are starting to get frustrated that they can’t put him away. Ted Dibiase Jnr hits his finisher, Dream Street. 1-2, another kick out. Cody goes crazy and just stomps him like a maniac. Dibiase Jnr does a fist drop right between the eyes. Cody Rhodes picks him up and hits his finisher, Crossroads. 1-2, Jones still kicks out. Rhodes goes mental and goes outside for a steal chair. He returns and hits Cornel Jones across the head with it. Winner by D.Q. Cornel Jones. After the bell Priceless continue the beat down on the Cornel. Really laying into him. Jones can’t do anything. Suddenly Samoa Joe’s music hits. He begins to walk down the aisle. Priceless turns their attention to him. Joe gets half way down the aisle and stops, turns round and goes to the back. Priceless begin to laugh and continue to beat down Cornel Jones for several more minutes before leaving him motionless in the middle of the ring.

CS: What’s up with Samoa Joe? Why didn’t he make the save?

BP: Maybe he came to his senses before it was to late. Did you just see what Priceless have done to Cornel Jones? Do you think Joe wants to upset the boss even more? The Million Dollar Man has already said he’ll deal with Joe later. Maybe the same will happen to Joe next week?

CS: But he came half way down the aisle!

BP: So what? He’s in trouble already, he’ll be adding fuel to the fire. Anyway, moving on, Big Bob Summer is back stage with MNM.

BBS: I’m standing here with MNM, John Morrison and Joey Mercury. Guys, we saw earlier tonight your opponents at FWO Blast Off will be The Hart Legacy. Your thoughts?

John: I’m really looking forward to this match. It should be a thriller. The tag team division looks good and with two competitive teams, we will have a great match.

BBS: Joey, what is it like being back with John again?

Joey: It’s great Bob. We had a bit ring rust in our match against LAX but we’ll be ready for Blast Off!

BBS: It is because Melina isn’t here with you?

John: Not at all. She chose not to come that’s her decision. We move on.

BBS: Any replacements for her? You are still called MNM?

Joey: We are MNM because people know us as that.

BBS: So no replacements?

John: I thought we were here to talk about the match at Blast Off? If we aren’t going to talk about that then we are out of here. C’mon Joey.

BBS: Guys, back to you.

BP: Big Bob asking the questions that MNM didn’t want to answer. It seemed like a straightforward question to me.

CS: As John said, they were there to talk about Blast Of. Why keep going on about the name MNM?

BP: Because there were three in MNM, now there’s only two. Seems a bit silly to me. Anyway, Lets go to our main event. Jeff Hardy takes on Leroy Brown. The winner will face Samoa Joe at Blast Off.

Jeff Hardy vs. Leroy Brown
Match report:

The crowd have mixed reactions towards Leroy Brown, the hometown guy. The 300 pounder wants to make up for his mistake last week. Jeff Hardy is looking in great shape. He has lost a little weight and buffed up a little. Brown struggles to cope with the speed of Hardy, but eventually catches him with a big boot. He picks up Hardy and Irish whips him to the corner. Hardy goes to his knees in pain. Brown runs towards Hardy and hits a knee to his face. He picks him up and puts him on the top turnbuckle. Brown climbs up and gives Jeff Hardy a belly-to-belly suplex. That hurt Hardy. Brown goes for the cover. A kick out after two from Hardy. Brown continues to go to work on Jeff Hardy. He swings him off the rope and counters it with a drop kick to the knee. Brown goes down for the first time in the match. Hardy hits him with a quick leg drop. Picking up momentum Hardy takes advantage. Hardy picks up the pace. Drop kicks, elbow drops etc. Hardy throws Brown into the ropes. It’s reversed. Hardy hits the ropes. Brown bends down looking for a back drop. Before he knows it, Hardy hits Leroy Brown with a twist of fait. Hardy quickly goes to the top turnbuckle and hits the Swanton. Hardy goes for the cover and gets the 3 count.
Winner: Jeff Hardy.

Jeff Hardy rolls out of the ring and has his hand raised by referee Dennis Fisher while Leroy Brown is furious in the ring.

CS: Leroy Brown doesn’t look happy. I bet Ted Dibiase isn’t happy either.

BP: A good win for Jeff Hardy. He will face Samoa Joe in the first bracket on the road to the FWO World Title.

CS: That will be a good match but what will The Million Dollar Man be kind to Leroy Brown?

BP: I’m not too sure but Blast Off is 3 weeks away and the card is starting to look good. Goodnight everyone

Wild Wednesday – July 20th, 2011.

Bradley Pringle (BP): Good evening everyone and welcome to FWO Wild Wednesday. We have a packed show tonight.

Charlie Speed (CS): The build up to Blast Off of continues tonight with the Debut of Mohammad Hassan.

BP: Charlie, watch out for this guy. I think he could be huge here in the FWO. In fact he’s my pick to become FWO Champion.

CS: You don’t know who his opponent is tonight and there is a small matter of Samoa Joe or Jeff Hardy to get past.

BP: Trust me, I believe he will be champion. Anyway, enough of your rubbish. Lets get on with the show. We have Eric Young taking on Renee Dupree.

Eric Young vs. Renee Dupree
Match Report:

Both men want to prove themselves in the FWO after suffering defeats in their fatal 4-way matches. Renee is in good shape and is dominant early on. Eric Young has to rely on his speed and eventually gets the upper hand by catching Dupree with a flying elbow. He goes to work on the arm. A quick succession of hip tosses and arm drags keeps Young on top. Dupree is standing in the middle of the ring. Young runs off the ropes and back to Dupree. Dupree catches him and hits him with a sidewalk slam. Young is stunned. Dupree slows the pace down for a few minutes with a bear hug. Young breaks free. He runs towards the ropes but Dupree grabs his trunks and gives Young an elbow to the lower back. Dupree himself runs for the ropes and hits Eric Young with a high knee. He showboats to the crowd, blowing them kisses. The crowd boo loudly. He picks up Young and hits him with a Full Nelson Slam – a move Renee Dupree calls the French Kiss – and goes for the cover. 1-2-3.
Winner: Renee Dupree.

CS: A good solid performance from Renee Dupree. He knows how to work on a body part and wear an opponent down Brad.

BP: He does indeed but did you see the way he blew kisses to the crowd? I like his attitude. He doesn’t care what people think of him.

CS: Eric Young shouldn’t put himself down after this defeat.

Jeff Hardy’s music hits and he walks towards the ring.

JH: As you know I have had some problems over the past few years. I’m out here to tell you all that I am in a better frame of mind now. A few years ago I was World Champion in the WWE. They gave me a chance to be their top star. I blew it. My mind was elsewhere and I was using banned substances. I was stupid but I didn’t know what I was doing. A few months later I was let go by WWE. I can’t blame them. They are going down a PG era. What type of example would I set to kids? At the beginning of last year I joined Hulk Hogan and TNA. At that point I wasn’t totally focused on wrestling but I had a clearer frame of mind than I had in WWE. I had a court case hanging over my head as well. It felt good being in the ring again but the voices led me down the wrong path. I have no one else to blame but myself. I did the unthinkable. I went into the ring not in control of what I was doing. I put myself and others at risk and as a wrestler that is something you should never do. That was the last time I was in a wrestling ring until last week. After that match I stopped any connection I had with wrestling. I wanted to sort myself out mentally. I wanted to stop using substances. I wanted to get the court case out of the way. It’s been three months now. WWE and TNA have been keeping tabs on me, but they didn’t want to put me on TV straight away. Ted Dibiase heard this. We met and discussed my future. He told me his adventure and I really liked it. He gave me a contract. For that I am grateful and I want to repay him with what I do in the ring. I hope all you fans can support me. My aim is to win the FWO World Title at Blast Off. That is my Focus.

Samoa Joe’s music hits and he appears under the titan Ron.

SJ: That was a lovely story Jeff. It really brought a tear to my eye. I think Teddy should give you the title now, just hand it to you! Do you really think all these idiots in The Circus believe that rubbish, that sob story? You don’t care about the fans. You are just using them. You are here for the same thing I am. The FWO World Title. The difference is, you will fail in your goal. At Blast Off you don’t stand a chance. Save yourself Humiliation and stay at home!

Samoa Joe returns to the locker room. Jeff Hardy looks stunned by Joe’s comments. He slowly walks back to the locker room.

CS: Samoa Joe didn’t have to come out when he did. Jeff Hardy was addressing the fans about his recent troubles. He was doing right letting everyone know what went on.

BP: Come on Charlie, do you believe that? Listen, WWE and TNA didn’t sign him because of this. FWO did. They are taking a chance on him.

CS: Brad, Jeff Hardy has sorted himself out. He just wants to wrestle.

BP: Maybe but the demons will still be there. Lets go to ring announcer Phil Kruger as we get ready for our next match.

Samurai vs. Jimmy Flame.
Match Report:

Two high flyers showing what they can do throughout this match. Probably the most two agile wrestlers in FWO. Jimmy Flame hits Samurai with a drop kick from the top rope and gets the upper hand. A standing moon Sault and a rolling thunder move, which he calls the fireball, earns Flame a two count. He keeps up the fast pace. A Hurricanrunna on Samurai sees Samurai go to the outside. Jimmy Flame sees another opening and runs, jumps on the top rope and springs off it’s a corkscrew moon Sault. Both men are lying outside the ring. That move took more out of Flame than it did Samurai. Both men are back in the ring. Samurai hits flame with a sidekick to the mid section and follows it up with a DDT. Flame lands near the corner. Samurai taps the top turnbuckle, calling for his finisher. He jumps and hits the Split Legged Moon-Sault. Goes for the cover. 1-2-3.
Winner: Samurai

CS: One word, Amazing.

BP: I agree Charlie, I can catch my breath now the match has finished. Both men gave it there all. These are two stars of the future.

CS: No doubt about it

Samurai helps Jimmy Flame to his feet. They shake hands. Flame raises the hand of Samurai.

CS: A bit of respect shown by two great athletes.

Back stage segment of Ted Dibiase in his office with his Lawyer Bernie Smith.

TD: Is everything ready Bernie?

BS: It is sir, I’ve had his lawyers look through it and they are happy with the terms. Obviously we put a few perks in there also which you know about.

TD: He should be here soon. Well he better be. He’s taking on Mohammad Hassan tonight in the main event.

BS: He’ll be here. If not you have a replacement right?

TD: Yeah I have but I just want this deal done.

There is a noise from the doorway. Cornel Jones kicks the door through, charges into the office and pushes everything on the desk onto the floor!

CJ: Not got anything planned for me tonight boss? No handicap matches?

TD: Just calm down Jones. Just calm down. You didn’t get the job done. I had to show people I’m not a push over. Leroy Brown was the guy who messed up.

CJ: Not a pushover! Leroy Brown was the guy who messed up. I had Joe beat. He messes up and gets a chance to win the FWO Title. Then you put me against Priceless, in which they were told to give me a kicking!

Cornel Jones is attacked from behind with a lead pipe by Leroy Brown. He is knocked out cold. Leroy Brown drags him out of the office, looks through the door and says “you won’t get anymore trouble from him boss. I’ll take care of it.” Brown shuts the door behind him. End of Segment.

BP: Well done Leroy Brown. Cornel Jones had no right to barge into Mr Dibiase’s office like that.

CS: So he deserves to be hit from behind with a lead pipe?

BP: I have no sympathy. He put his nose where it wasn’t needed. He got what he deserver.

CS: You are ridiculous. No one deserves that. Totally uncall for. Lets go to Phil Kruger for our next match.

LAX vs. Priceless
Match Report:

Priceless cheap shot Homicide before the bell making him the legal man when the match starts. Dibiase Jnr wearing him down with various head locks. Frequent tags by Priceless start to annoy Hernandez. He’s helpless on the outside. Rhodes continues to work on the neck of Homicide. A neck breaker is followed up with a pin. Hernandez makes the save and stops the count at two. Homicide doesn’t know where he is. He’s running on instinct as he is Irish whipped by Dibiase Jnr but comes straight back out and goes for a clothesline, only for Dibiase Jnr to duck and clothesline Cory Jacobs.
Both men are lying on the mat. Rhodes gets into the ring and Hernandez follows. Rhodes and Hernandez are going at it. Dibiase Jnr attacks Hernandez from behind. The referee comes round and tries to take control. Dibiase Jnr and Hernandez end up on the floor outside. Rhodes returns his attention to Homicide, who is still a little dazed. Cody Rhodes hits the Crossroads. 1-2-3.
Winners: Priceless.

CS: A win for Priceless over LAX. That match shows what they can do in an actual match rather than beating down one guy?

BP: What do you mean by that?

CS: Well last week they beat down one guy with a steal chair after the match. This week they put in a good performance over LAX.

BP: That’s ridiculous. Last week they had a job to do. This week was a different job. Both weeks, job done. It doesn’t matter what the job is.

CS: That’s your opinion Brad. I was just saying. Anyway, Big Bob Summer is waiting for us backstage.

BBS: Thanks Charlie. Joining me at this time is none other than Husky Harris. Husky, thanks for joining us. I see you are on crutches. Can you tell us about your injury?

HH: Well Bob, I have torn ligaments in my right leg. I can’t straighten it or walk on it properly, hence the crutches.

BBS: How long are you out for?

HH: The doctors say for at least 8 weeks.

BBS: That’s unfortunate. FWO is just getting this started and this happens.

HH: I know. Austin Aries has a lot to answer for. I don’t know why he done it. Yes fair enough he was out there to win but to go out and purposely injure another wrestler, that’s out of order. Let me tell you this Aries, I will get y revenge. I don’t know where or when but mark my words I will get my payback. But the difference is, I’ll be coming at you head on and not from behind. You know I’ll be coming!

BBS: He’s facing Joe Hennig at FWO Blast Off for The Chicago Title. If you weren’t injured do you think it would have been you facing your buddy?

HH: Without a doubt. I had the momentum. I was the fourth guy in that match. I was…

Husky Harris is choplocked from behind again by Austin Aries. Harris rolls around in pain. Aries is staring over him and yelling at him telling him he didn’t stand a chance. Hennig runs to make the save. Aries sees him and runs away. Hennig and EMT’s see to Husky Harris.

CS: Another vicious attack by Austin Aries. A cowardly attack. Husky Harris was helpless.

BP: Oh be quiet. Harris had just threatened Austin. He said he was going for him when he returns. Aries was just getting the first hit in!

CS: From behind Brad! The guy can’t walk properly and will probably be out of action longer than expected, because of that!

Ted Dibiase’s music hits and he is standing at the entrance of the aisle. He has a mic in hand.

TD: Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a change to the main event tonight. The guy who I wanted in the main event hasn’t signed a FWO contract yet. We are still negotiating. Hopefully we will have it all sorted soon and he’ll be debuting in the near future. I have found a suitable replacement. This guy is one of the most popular guys in wrestling today and he is fighting Mohammad Hassan tonight. The winner of this match will go into the second bracket for a chance at the FWO World Title at Blast Off. Please Welcome, Rey Mysterio!

BP: No way! Rey Mysterio! Really?! I don’t believe it. Wow, it really is him. Rey Mysterio in the FWO! This is going to be a hell of a match.

CS: I’m gob smacked. This has got to be the biggest signing to date. I can’t wait to see him in action.

Mohammad Hassan vs. Rey Mysterio
Match Report:

The crowd are going crazy at the appearance of Rey Mysterio. Mohammad Hassan is standing his ground though. The two tie up. Hassan gets Rey in a headlock. A push off in to the ropes by Mysterio and catches the returning Hassan with a Hurricanrunna. The crowd go wild. Hassan steps outside to re-focus and get his head straight. They are both in the ring. No real advantage from either man until Hassan catches Mysterio leaping from the top rope. He hits him with a back breaker. The power advantage shows and he really starts to wear down Mysterio. The crowd hurl abuse at Hassan. He mocks the crowd and stomps on Rey. The louder the crowd boo him the more vicious the stomps become. The crowd are going ballistic and Hassan is really mad but he is concentrating on the crowd rather than Mysterio. He has his back to Mysterio. Mysterio gets up and hits Mysterio to the back of the head. Hassan goes down. A big splash from the top ropes follows by Mysterio, and gets the two count. Hassan goes for the clothesline but Mysterio ducks and clothesline referee Dennis Fisher. He nearly took his head off. Mysterio dropkicks Hassan in the back and he falls into the ropes. Rey hits the 619, climbs to the top rope and hits another splash. The referee is still down. Then from through the crowd Renee Dupree runs into the ring and attacks Rey Mysterio. Dupree is throwing Mysterio about the ring like a rag doll. He then hits his signature move, The French Kiss. He drags Hassan over to Mysterio and cover covers him. Dupree shakes the referee. The ref crawls over to the other guys and begins to count. 1-2-3.
Winner: Mohammad Hassan.

CS: What has just happened? Why did Dupree do that?

BP: I’m not sure Charlie but one thing is for certain, Mohammad Hassan is going to Blast Off!

CS: That’s right Brad and the crowd are furious. They are throwing all sorts at Hassan.

BP: I’m out of here, I’m not hanging around incase I get something off the back of my head. Goodnight Folks!

Show ends with Mohammad Hassan standing in the ring. The crowd are throwing things at him. Cups, hamburgers, popcorn and everything else are lying in the ring on the mat!

I'm thinking with that kind of build-up, has to be a bigger star than Rey...

Couple of ideas: Punk, Cena, Vince McMahon.

I'd be slightly annoyed if you dragged Snitsky back into it!

Wild Wednesday, July 27th, 2011.

Show opens with Ted Dibiase in the ring.

TD: Good evening everybody. We are four days away from our very first PPV, FWO Blast Off. We have three titles to be won. The Chicago Title will be up for grabs when Austin Aries battles Joe Hennig. MNM take on The Hart Legacy for the FWO Tag Team Titles, and of course there is the big one. Four guys will be going for the FWO World Title. Jeff Hardy will go one on one with Samoa Joe. The winner will face the winner between Mohammad Hassan and the winner of tonight’s main event. Now, speaking of tonight, we have two guys debuting in the FWO. I want to introduce you to them now. The first guy is none other than ‘The Pope’ Elijah Burke!

The Pope makes his way to the ring. The crowd have mixed reactions.

EB: Hello to one and all here in The Circus. Mr Dibiase, thank you for having me in the FWO. I see this as a great company in years to come and I want to be part of that. You have great talent. This is the place to me.

TD: Well Elijah, that is great. You will be an asset to the company. Now, for your opponent tonight. Again, another debut, Please Welcome…

Ted Dibiase is interrupted by the sound of Leroy Brown’s music. He makes his way to the ring with a mic in hand.

LB: Sorry to interrupt Boss, but you know why I’m here. I’ve been ringing you all week. You haven’t returned any of my calls. Boss, give me another shot at the FWO World Title. This is y hometown. I should be Champion. I saved you from Cornel Jones last week. You owe me.

TD: I owe you? I owe you? How do you work that one out? You were hired to stop Samoa Joe, you failed. Then, I gave you a chance to challenge for the title and you couldn’t beat Jeff Hardy, so how do I owe you?

LB: Come on Boss, Just one more chance. Make it a triple threat match with Joe and Hardy? Let me face Hassan? I don’t know but give me a chance.

EB: Mr Dibiase, let me handle this if you don’t mind. Right, Mr Brown. Firstly don’t ever interrupt Mr Dibiase again. Secondly, How about you fight me tonight. You win, you go to Blast Off. You lose you pipe down and get in line and earn your shot!

LB: Who do you think you are? I don’t answer to you. You aren’t the boss…

TD: No, but I am! I did have a main event planned but I’ sure he won’t mind waiting another week seen as he kept me waiting last week. Tonight’s main event see’s The Pope Elijah Burke take on Leroy Brown. Now, you two go and get ready and lets get on with the show!

BP: What a start to Wild Wednesday. The Pope Elijah Burke is the latest guy to join the FWO.

CS: And he could become FWO Champion. A win against the determent Leroy Brown and he’s almost there.

BP: We also have MNM in action. They go against Scorpio and Tarantula, but up next we have Austin Aries taking on Jesse White.

Austin Aries vs. Jesse White
Match Report:

Austin Aries takes advantage early on with a kick to the knee. He goes on the attack like he did with Husky Harris a few weeks ago. Aries is stretching White’s leg. Stops follow. He picks him up and scoop slams him. Suplex follows then Aries hits him with a leg drop. Jesse White doesn’t seem at the races. This is easy for Aires. He plants a DDT on White and drags his do the corner. He goes to the top rope and hits the 450 splash and goes for the cover. 1-2-3.
Winner: Austin Aries.

Austin Aries is celebrating in the ring. Joe Hennig runs towards the ring trying to get his hands on Aries. Austin Aries gets out of the ring avoiding Hennig.

CS: Impressive outing by Austin Aries but I think he is a coward.

BP: How is he a coward? Because he left the ring? He had just had a match and he has got a title match in four days time. He didn’t want to jeopardise his opportunity of becoming FWO Chicago Title.

CS: I knew you would stick up for him. He wanted no part of Hennig and you know it.

BP: We’ll see at Blast Off Charlie! Let’s go back stage with Big Bob Summer.

BBS: Thanks Bradley. My guest at this time is Renee Dupree. Thanks for joining me Renee. The question on everyone’s mind is why did you attack Rey Mysterio last week?

RD: (in a French accent): It is quite simple Bob. Rey Mysterio is one of the biggest stars in this business. He has been for the last ten years. What is FWO?

BS: Sorry?

RD: What does FWO stand for?

BBS: Future Wrestling Organization.

RD: Exactly. The key word is future. Not past, Future! This company is about new talent and guys, like me, given a chance. I don’t understand why Rey Mysterio is here. He has nothing to prove. He is just here picking up a paycheck.

BBS: But why the attack? You have stopped him from the opportunity of winning the FWO title.

RD: I don’t care. He shouldn’t be here in the first place. I will do everything I can to make him leave the FWO.

BBS: But he will help ratings. More people will watch FWO and that means are people will see the likes of you in action. Surely you can see that?

RD: Well they can see me even more. I have just come from Ted Dibiase’s office and he has made it official. I, Renee Dupree will face Rey Mysterio at FWO Blast Off!

BBS: Really? This Sunday?

RD: Are you deaf. I’ve just said haven’t I? Rey, I know you aren’t here tonight but if you are watching, I will see you on Sunday and I will make you wished you never joined the FWO! There are other guys in the wrestling business that could have your place in the FWO!

BBS: Renee, are you jealous of Rey Mysterio?

RD: I am not going to answer that question, you stupid man!

Renee Dupree walks off camera.

BBS: What did I say? Charlie, Bradley, back to you at ringside.

CS: Another huge match set up for FWO Blast Off. Renee Dupree takes on Rey Mysterio. That should be a great match.

BP: It should be Charlie but what a stupid question by Big Bob? Of course Renee Dupree isn’t jealous. He is right in what he says. Mysterio has been there, done that and sold the T-shirt. Why is he here?

CS: Come on Brad, Rey Mysterio is a great addition to the FWO, even you should know that.

BP: He maybe a good addition but is Renee right? Is he here just for the money. Only time will tell. Up next we have tag team action with MNM take on Scorpio and Tarantula.

MNM vs. Scorpio and Tarantula
Match Report:

MNM look good going into their match against Hart Legacy at Blast Off. John Morrison is working over Tarantula, hitting moves on him before Tarantula knows anything about it. Morison’s speed is too much for Tarantula. He tags Scorpio out of frustration. Scorpio comes in and goes toe to toe with Morrison. Scorpio hits Morrison with a leg sweep and goes for the Scorpion death lock. Morrison scouts it and escapes, making a tag to Joey Mercury. These two go back and forth, hitting specialist moves. Mercury catches Scorpio with a super kick but Scorpio falls near the ropes. Mercury goes for the pin but Scorpio puts his leg on the bottom rope. He crawls over and tags Tarantula. Mercury runs at him but is caught by a big boot. Morrison runs in and also hit by a big boot. Scorpio enters the ring. Referee Cory Jacobs has lost control. Morrison is drop kicked out of the ring. A suicide dive from Scorpio takes out Morrison. Tarantula has Mercury up in the air in a power bomb position. Scorpio is on the top rope and as Tarantula’s power bombing Mercury, Scorpio jumps and hits a leg drop across the upper body, a move they call ‘The lethal Injection’. Tarantula goes for the cover. 1-2-3.
Winners: Tarantula and Scorpio.

CS: What a move y Scorpio and Tarantula Brad, You may call that a bit of an upset.

BP: You can Charlie, an impressive win. MNM loosing this close to the PPV can’t be good. They won’t be happy but a good win for Tarantula and Scorpio.

CS: Ladies and Gentlemen we have a special guest on the phone. All the way from Japan. We can speak to MVP. MVP, are you there?

MVP: Hello Charlie, I’m here.

CS: Thanks for joining us. How are you? It is going well in Japan?

MVP: I’m doing good man. All is well over here. I’m not working tonight so I’m watching the show on FWO.com.

BP: MVP, it’s Brad. Have you watched every week or has work commitments got in the way?

MVP: I missed the first show because of work but I’ve seen all the others.

CS: How do you think is going?

MVP: It’s still early days but it’s doing OK. The roster is taking shape nicely. I believe there are a couple of more names to join the FWO.

BP: Has anyone impressed you so far?

MVP: Samurai looks good. I’ve wrestled him a few times over here. The stuff he can do in the ring amazes me. He certainly knows his way around the squared circle. He was unlucky not to be in the Chicago Title match, but I believe he is one for the future. Just keep an eye on him.

BP: When do you think he will be debuting in the FWO?

MVP: I’m looking to be back in America around mid-August and debuting at the August PPV at the very latest.

CS: What are your aims in the FWO? Why did you sign?

MVP: To win the FWO title of course. I signed because I needed guaranteed work. Ted Dibiase wanted e to sign but I had a contract here in Japan and wanted to honour that. I have two more matches then my contract is finished on August 14th. Ted Dibiase offered me a contract starting then. I went to see my boss, Mr Hoshizaki. He could only guarantee me a 6-month contract. He understood FWO could offer me a longer contract and wished me luck. I told him I’d finish my contract rather than walk out on the company.

BP: Do you feel you are missing out here?

MVP: No, not at all. FWO will grow and grow. This is only the fourth show. There is still so much to do.

CS: MVP, thanks for your time and looking forward to seeing you in the FWO. Brad, what do you make of that?

BP: I like his loyalty to Japan rather than jumping ship, but is he a big enough star to wait for? Come the end of August he may not fit in.

CS: I know what you mean but I think he’ll defiantly fit in. Right folks, it’s time for the ain event. The winner will go on to face Mohammad Hassan at Blast Off.

Leroy Brown vs. Elijah Burke
Match Report:

Leroy Brown is doing all he can to get the win. He doesn’t want to let Ted Dibiase down again. The Pope is also giving it his all but he drops his head to early and Leroy Brown kicks him in the head. Advantage to Leroy Brown. The 300 pounder is throwing Burke around like a lightweight. He picks up The Pope into a press slam position and holds him there a few seconds. All of a sudden Cornel Jones is sprinting towards the ring and he attacks Leroy Brown. Jones is really doing a number on him. Elijah Burke is now standing in the corner looking confused. Then a few minutes later Priceless hit the ring and attack Cornel Jones. It’s three on one. The Pope is still not doing anything. Jones is helpless. Scorpio and Tarantula come to the ring to make the save. It is carnage n the ring. The Pope doesn’t like what he sees and hits Scorpio from behind with a low blow. He turns his attention to Tarantula. It’s four on two as Jones is on the floor outside. Priceless working on Scorpio and Leroy Brown and The Pope working on Tarantula. Samurai runs to the ring, gets on the top rope and high cross bodies Priceless. Cornel Jones makes his way back into the ring. Now all eight men are in the ring. Samurai dropkicks Ted Dibiase Jnr outside. Cornel Jones and Tarantula clothesline Cody Rhodes and Elijah Burke. Leroy Brown escapes leaving Cornel Jones, Tarantula, Scorpio and Samurai in the ring.

Ted Dibiase’s music hits and he appears under the titontron.

TD: Stop it right there. Leroy Brown, even thought you won the match tonight by disqualification, you are not competing for the FWO Title. You and Cornel Jones have some business to take care of. You will go one on one at Blast Off! Priceless and Elijah Burke. You three will take on Scorpio, Tarantula and Samurai in a 6-an tag at the PPV. That leaves me one man short for the FWO Title tournament, so this is what I’m going to do. Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy and Mohammad Hassan will compete in a triple threat match. No disqualifications, no count outs. There will be a winner and that winner will become FWO World Champion!

Ted Dibiase turns and goes back stage. Cornel Jones is pointing and shouting at Leroy Brown.

CS: A huge announcment there by Ted Dibiase. Three matches made for Blast Off.

BP: Not forgetting MNM vs. Hart Legacy for the FWO Tag Team Titles, Austin Aries vs. Joe Hennig for the Chicago Title and we have Renee Dupree taking on Rey Mysterio!

CS: I can’t wait. See you all on Sunday for FWO Blast Off!
