- WWE officials now realize that they have dropped the ball twice with Ted DiBiase Jr. and reuniting him with Cody Rhodes on SmackDown is supposed to be a way of reversing things. The idea now is to re-create the dynamic that Alex Riley and The Miz had, with Rhodes and DiBiase. The plan right now is for DiBiase to continue doing Rhodes' "dirty work" until Ted turns babyface and feuds with Cody.

| Cody isn't high enough up the card yet for that to have the same effect | |

| DiBiase also has the personality of a hoover. He's good enough in-ring, but is so 'meh' in everything he does, it's hard to see him as anything other than a jobber. | |

| Maybe using Ted will get him up the card. | |

| Ted reminds me of Shelton Benjamin in some ways - decent in-ring, but used so poorly for years and with no charisma at all, the highest he'll get is the occasional IC title run, until WWE realise he's been there for a decade and still no-one gives a toss about him.
Except Shelton had the athletic ability and could do his yearly MITB stunt. DiBiase doesn't even have that.

| What about his major feud with Goldust over the much coveted Million Dollar belt?!? Yeah I'm not sure what the other one is either! | |

| Unless they consider 2 different points in the Legacy break up as missed opportunities, I remember 1 point where the crowd were begging for DiBiase to turn on Orton, did Orton attack DiBiase Snr or something? But he sided with Orton instead. And then maybe having lost at Wrestlemania being another. | |

I think the first moment was when DiBiase Jnr got punted by Orton. When DiBiase returned, he forgave Orton almost immediately but DiBiase could have got a similar reaction to Riley had he turned on Orton at that point. The second one, I agree, was probably either at or directly after WrestleMania.
