Kurt Angle in tryouts for USA 2012 olympic wrestling team

According to TNA's Facebook page Kurt Angle will be talking to Steve Bunce about his olympic plans on BBC London tonight between 7pm-10pm (apparently it was recorded earlier).

I've not been listening to it as i've been watching a bunch of head cases on BGT.

According to TNA though Kurt is on this radio show to discuss his plans for the 2012 olympics.

What is he upto?

I've atcually listened to him on talk sport (he's still on it now) and he said he is trying out for the USA 2012 olympic wrestling team.

i listened to the interview as well and i do think he will get into the team he didnt speak about TNA alot though so must have be a personal appearance rather than it being for work

He mentioned a bit about TNA on talk sport saying he wants to face Doug Williams on the UK Tour next year.

Kurt hardly ever talks about TNA though, he's usually banging on about MMA, going back to WWE, training for the Olympics...

I honestly think this is a publicity stunt more than anything else - there's no way he'll pass any drug tests, he's not done any amateur wrestling in years, and his neck is uttterly shagged.

I agree, but he's talking about working his way up to make the team by competing in several amature wrestling competitions, so he's deffinately doing amature wrestling, but the question is will he be wrestling at the olympics.

dont they usually let you win the medals then test you for substance, so then the loser wins and gets zero recognition in the media?

With Angle, I'll believe it when it happens. he spouts so much utter horseshit, it's difficult to take anything he says seriously.

most interesting thing he said was about him nearly joining UFC but Dana wanted him to start in 4 weeks of signing when he said he needed 6 months to prepare rather than 4 weeks

I missed that Bosch as I turned it off mid-way.

Kurt is best sticking with amature wrestling as he is in no condition for UFC.
