Origional Punk/Cena plans

Original creative plans called for the Cena/Punk angle that kicked off on last night's RAW to begin next month, but was bumped forward because the "Straight Edge" wrestler returns to action this weekend. The preliminary plan as of last night was that the feud would culminate at WrestleMania XXVII.

Remember it was Cena who spilt his soda, so i'd laugh if this is what it's all about

it would be the first fued to start over a spilling of diet soda

in all fairness this could be a great fued and could be worth the wait as Punk is a excellent heel

True, but I do remember Kane fueding with Jericho because he spilt team over him, although that was more to do with the storyline of Kane getting burn't as a child and Jericho saying "sorry I hope I didn't burn you" when he spilt the tea.

Yes I remember that and what an awful fued it was.

I think this has some real potential though. They seem to be complete polar opposites in characters not just because they are face and heel but in their mannerisms both in and out of the ring and I think a Mania match between these two would be good. Punk needs to be made to look strong in this though unlike how Wade Barret has been portrayed so that kind of worries me with how badly the writing staff fucked up the Nexus storyline

they could write in storyline wise that Cena cost Punk the title over his backstage attire rather than Undertaker and therefore Punk wants to get revenge on Cena for costing him his title
