Inspired by the feuds you want to see I wondered if any of you are not marks for something/someone.
Basically I'm asking hat your weakness is in wresting, your love of something that defies logic. As part of the "IWC" we all tend to over-analyse things, look at stuff far more carefully than we should really. But who or what really floats your boat even though it defies all logic and common sense. Is there anything (past or present) that really gets you going for no reason at all other than personal preference.
For me, Goldust is one. I love all of his stuff. His gimmick is limited but still fantastic, particularly his entrance which just embodies everything filthy/kinky about professional wrestling. Great performer and I genuinely do mark out whenever he appears.
Undertaker to I have a soft spot for, the ultimate performer I reckon, he is a true wrestling god.
Thirdly, I'd probably go with The Headbangers, I fuckin loved their style of wrestling and their look. They reminded me of a good LOD (who got shat on during that period) and I marked out over them all the time, fantastic tag team.
So yeah, it's pretty much a guilty pleasure thread so try and give examples of stuff you liked which is generally frowned upon.

John Cena, I don't think I have ever had a problem with Cena. The superman booking has always been used, and in the ring, while he isn't technical or high-flying I do like his style. And for the most part his promos are good, he makes a few mistakes, but I don't understand where this hate comes from for him.

Undertaker. Ever since his debut, I've marked out for him, was furious when he adopted the 'American Badass' gimmick, and then when he returned as the Deadman at Mania 20... as soon as the lights went out and Paul Bearer squealed 'Oh, yes!' that was it. Marked out on the spot, and the first time I saw him at a house show... lights going out, bell tolling... awesome!
I've also marked out at getting a thumbs up from DH Smith at a house show when me and two complete strangers started a 'Bulldog!' chant at him.
Aside from those, I only mark out for a damned good match / crazy high spot or an absolute shocking moment.

Unfortunately I find myself not marking out as much as I used to lately, which Im sure is the case for most people on this board, but I genuinely mark out for Danielson, Kaval, CM Punk and a nice suplex (dont know why but I always do).
As for not being a mark, everyone who watches wrestling is a mark. Everyone who is a fan of something is a mark, its impossible to not be one. I'd consider myself to be in the class of "smart mark" but Im not ashamed to admit that Ive marked out and have been completley duped by wrestling companies in the past and even recently (Danielsons release, marked out when Barret pinned Cena etc)

Personally I spoilt that for myself. I ordered it off Sky Box Office half way through the showing before the one I wanted to watch and saw him in the ring with HHH so I was just like

I did. I was even convinced it wasn't him, as he stood there with his head bowed. Only when he lifted his head was I certain it was him.
Other times I've marked out...
HBK vs Undertaker, WM26 when Shawn hit the moonsault. HBK vs Razor Ramon, ladder match at WM10. Just the whole match. HBK vs Shelton Benjamin, when Shelton came off the ropes onto the greatest sweet chin music ever.
Hmm... I'm sensing a theme...

I don't think I have ever really marked out being a wrestling fan. The past 2 years of regular viewing hasn't been great and hasnt lead to a lot of OMG moments.
The mark moment for me probably came watching No Way Out 2009 when Edge lost the WWE championship in 5 mins only to win the World Championship at the end of the night or when Taker went over the ropes and nearly broke his neck at Mania 25.

I didn't, I just said "oh look Cena's back and he's number 30, whats the betting he wins the Rumble" and he did.

For Cena returning, I read it on Wikipedia the day after and I was shocked to see that he won.

I was shocked to see him return as he was injured at the time and not scheduled to return until the month after, but i'm not shocked he won though as I saw it coming the monet he came out (it's John Cena we're talking about here).

10-12 year ago it was Austin all the way. Just the sound of the smashing glass was enough for me.
A bit later on I marked out for Cena - especially when he was with B-squared! I've liked him ever since. I sort of agree with Leak, I don't understand why so many ppl don't like him.

I don't mind him but it's annoying when he no sells and wins. but i guess that isnt his fault just doing his gimmick.

Cena is better than Orton in my opinion. Especially in the past 18 month.

I remember marking out like a bitch when Austin made his return and beat up all the Alliance after they did the WWF needing "old Stone Cold back" storyline and he just absolutely battered everyone of them. I watched the video package for the Invasion ppv about a month ago and it still gave me goosebumps.
This is the video in question:

My Austin mark-out would be the match when Foley beat the Rock for the title, and at the finish when DX and The Corporation are fighting, the glass breaks and Austin comes out to one of the biggest pops I've ever heard.

I was wondering more what peoples mark out moments were that had no logic.
All the Austin, Rock and Foley crack is fine. Wondering if people had examples of going mental over really crap stuff, like me and the random love for the Headbanger's.

I've always enjoyed most matches either Vince or Shane have been in, their obviously "talentless" but they both take a hell of a shit-kickin in the ring.
