We experienced our first tie in the tournament in a match between Regal and Dynamite Kid so both will advance to face Bryan Danielson who edged out Dean Malnko.

| Well in the last round I said I thought that Malenko and Danielson were the two purest examples of a technical wrestler, so with malenko gone I'm now backing Danielson. | |
