WWE to Turn a Top Superstar Heel and Put Them with Nexus

Cena turning heel would be a risk because of his popularity with kids and everything else, including merchandise. Triple H has wanted to turn heel for a few years now but with injuries to him and his co-workers, they haven't had the right time to turn him.

I Thought Triple H Would Be The Saviour & I Did Think That Cena Could Turn Heel And Team With Them But Then Thought About His Popularity With People

If Cena turned heel I would mark out so badly. Would be one of the biggest moves in the WWE for years.

Wasn't Chris Jericho another one touted for the role?

Just saying but Orton also an outsider for the role?

I know it's not exactly turning either heel but still reckon they could do the job.

I can see HHH being the leader, maybe to rebel against Vince and Steph and take over the company for himself. I dont like it but I could see it happening. Personally Id prefer Jericho or someone completely unexpected like JBL like JBL wants to buy WWE from Vince but Vince wont sell to him because of his past exploits (kayfabe terms of course) and he so he decides that he wants it so badly that he will take it by force by hiring the NXT guys by offering them contracts and title shots etc. Just spitballing but that would be what I would prefer to see.

But to see Cena side with them would be an amazing sight.

Why not both of them? Them 2 and Nexus vs Orton, Jericho and Edge could be good.

Hopefully they have big plans for Nexus if they do turn Cena, Cena turning is a big moment so if Nexus are only going to last for a couple of months afterwards and Cena then returns to being a face, I say don't bother.

but i can see if it is Cena he turns on Nexus when they finally face off against the WWE and i can see it being like when Stone Cold teamed with WCW and turned on them to help the WWE out

I hope they do turn Cena into a heel to be honest, but I can't see that as WWE would have no poster boy for this era (ie, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Rock, Stone Cold, etc...).

I'd love it if Cena did turn heel but like Worthy said I really cannot see it happening because of his poster boy image and the amount of money he makes from Marketing.It would make sense especially with him tweeting about Bryan's sacking.

It's more than likely it will be HHH,which at least means he won't have the opportunity to bury them for a while.I think it would make more sense for it to be Jericho especially as he was Barret's mentor on nxt.

Just a thought, but putting Trips with Nexus rather than Cena would just split their audience.

Cena would get all the kids cheering for him, whereas anyone over the age of 12 is going to cheer Trips and Nexus for continually battering Cena. I get the feeling putting Trips in charge of the group is going to turn them into tweeners, rather than all-out heels.

Jericho would be my shout, and as he mentored Wade Barrett, it'd make sense too.

wrestlezone are now saying it's aparantly 2-4 months Triple H will be out, Survivor Series anyone?

Nexus Vs Raw, Triple H returns after the match?

I don't think Jericho is big enough for it, I think at this point it can only be Trips, Cena, Orton or Taker, those are the four biggest names in the business, I think this will be the angle that will turn Jericho face, I think he will try and be the leader or at least seem untouchable because of his relationship with Barrett, when Barrett turns on him Jericho will take a break, do his tour with Fozzy and come back as a face and lead into a big feud that will pay off with Jericho/Barrett at WrestleMania

So Jericho will attempt to be leader fail, and someone else (one of the 4 you named) would actually turn out to be the leader? I can't see it being Taker, on SD when this appears to be a Raw fued. Also just don't think he would fit, but any of the other 3 could do it well.

Having said the thing about it unlikely being a SD star. I have seen people throw Christian's name about, use him by saying he is taking revenge for him never being allowed near the world title in WWE and now he will force his way to the top.

To be honest I wouldn't find there being no top star as leader, just have Barrett as the leader of the group as i feel it will help promote him more and give him a bigger push for after Nexus.

Actually, with Orton gaining some popularity, they could use him as the face and turn Cena heel. As previously posted, it could be a major move for the company, but Cena fans would throw a fit.

Triple H, I just can't see him leading the Nexus. I guess to me he's just too big of a veteran, and more than likely will just take up a singles role when he comes back.
