| BACKSTORY
Global Championship Wrestling is owned by Shane McMahon. Shane bought out WWE from his father Vince. He then bought TNA, and ROH, he only kept the talent he believed would help this company and everyone else was let go. Shane also using his connections in the international market has brought in a few international stars. The main focus of the company is to being back respect to pro wrestling and show the world it's not a laughing stock. Shane is determined to make GCW better than WWE ever was, and with Teddy Long as acting GM things are looking up.
