| I know not all squads have been confirmed yet but I was wondering what are people predictions on the World Cup. Who do you think will......
Win the World Cup: Suprise team doing well in the Tournement: Shock Exit of the Tournement: Best Player: Golden Boot:
I think.......
The winniers will be either Germany, Holland or England (yes seriously). I definalty think it will be a european team that will win the competition.
The Suprise team to do well in the tournement I think will be Ghana.
The Shock exit I think will be Spain. 2nd round or quarter final exit I reckon.
The best player I think will be Lionel Messi, as well as getting the golden boot.
I also think Uruaguay could do well.

| No European Team has ever won it outside of Europe so I'm sticking with tradition, Africa is the only continent that Brazil haven't won it on so its all to tempting for me.
Winners: Brazil Surprise Team: Ivory Coast Shock Exit: Portugal Best Player: Arjen Robben Golden Boot: Luis Fabiano

Shock Exit: France might not get out of the group. and i think Spain will play portugal in the 2nd round so Spain could go out early too. Best player: if he stays fit Wayne Rooney Golden Boot: Luis Fabiano

| Win the World Cup: I can't look past Spain or Brazil to win, i would like to see Argentina do well but in Maradona they have a shockingly bad manager who still doesn't know his best x11. I'll stick my neck out and say Spain.
Surprise team doing well in the Tournement: Uruguay i think will surprise people, with the like of Forlan and Suarez up front they have a lethal attack. Chile will do well aswell.
Shock Exit of the Tournament: France, Argentina... Domenech is such a terrible manager like Maradona, Domenech is unbelievably stubborn and tactically naive, they had to cheat to get there.
Best Player: David Villa will most probably be the best player
Golden Boot: David Villa, his record is amazing for Spain and he was also top Scorer at Euro 2008

| Win the World Cup: Brazil. Suprise team doing well in the Tournement: England (I think they'll get to the semi-final, which if you're being realistic, is pretty good for them.) Shock Exit of the Tournement: Argentina or France. Can see both struggling. Best Player: Rooney. (I think he'll carry England the entire way.) Golden Boot: David Villa. | |

| Win the World Cup:Spain or Brazil - If both win their groups, they will be in opposite sides of the draw and can see them meeting in the final Suprise team doing well in the Tournement: Serbia - Can see them topping their group and if they do that, i think they can get to the semis Shock Exit of the Tournement:Germany - I can see germany coming 2nd in their group (possibly even third), if that happens, they are likely to meet England in the round of 16 Best Player: Torres - Time to put and an injury halting couple of years behind him, and prove why he is a 60m rated strlker Golden Boot: Torres (11) | |

| Liverpool have him, they are going to ask for as much as they think they can get, doesn't mean he is rated at that, also not sure Chelsea or Man City will pay that although City probably would push the boat out
David Villa is better than him and cost around half of that

is 11 the number of goals you think he will score? thats some amount for on tournament they have honduras and switzerland in there group, id expect alot of goals from spain in those 2 games, and chile conceded 7 goals in their 2 quali games against brazil, honestly i would be surprised if spain score 4 goals in each game, and with the 2 strikers being the ones that get the most for spain, i think it will be between those 2 for the golden boot, with torres just edging it although 11 is a probably a bit too ambitious, id say villa will get 7 or 8, with torres 2 infront

| I was thinking 11 is a bit high, going all the way back to after the 1970 Cup when Gerd Müller scored 10 times, the average tally is just six goals apart from Ronaldo in 2002 who got 8
I'd say the top goalscorer will get 6/7

| i can see villa or someone getting 4 in a game, then with consistancy you never know. But then there will be hands where teams score 1 and get through or even on pens so that will decrease chances if that happens | |

| Am I the only one who thinks the Ivory Coast wont do well in this tournement? I think this because they have Brazil and Portugal (along with North Korea) in there gorup, a really tough one.
Also, the expectancy on them to do well. In Germany no-one really expected them to do anything but they done alright considering. This year, Sven there manager, A few more well known players. I don't no, I just think they'll struggle.
