Games you would love to be remade?

I keep reading rumours that Final Fantasy 7 is going to be remade for the current generation, and it made me think about what games I'd like to see remade. So, in no particular order...:

Shadow of Rome - a hugely under-rated PS2 title, made by Capcom. It was pretty much a game of two halves, half was stealth and sneaking around (which was dull as hell), the other half... oh my! You were a Roman Gladiator, and just had to win fights to stay alive. The first fight was a 15-20 man battle royal you had to win, there was chariot racing, you could cut someone's arm off and beat them to death with it, set people on fire... I want this game remade, with improved AI, and online gladiator-fighting.

Road Rash - classic franchise, I'd love this one remade for the PS3.

These are the first two that come to mind, anymore for anymore?

resident evil 2

instead of doing the new max payne game or indeed after its come out, id love to see max payne remade.

was so ahead of its time and wish the origional only came out recently or something as the story and idea behind the game was amazing. and the film completely fucked up a solid idea.

film noir. dark. emotionally fueled. hard ass. bullet time. but no a flying norsk bird will do for the film

I would love to see David Beckham soccer remade for the ps3.
Another couple of games I would like remade would be Canis Canem Edit and GTA San Andreas for PS3

Spin the bottle down at the closed down train station after a couple of litres of cider circa 1995.

I'd like to remake that game lemmetellyoudatfernuthin.

Great call on Road Rash, I loved that game, would be brutal on today's consoles.

Wouldn't mind seeing an updated version of Medievil too, that was great.

Driver, an alternative to GTA.

Crazy Taxi and when I say remade I don't mean bring the original to a new system, I mean a proper full on remake like the new Outrun game.

As for Alex the Kidd? You'll never know as he was in Sonic and Sega Allstar tennis and Sonic and Sega Allstar racing, so we know how he would look in 3D.

Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!, remake as a sequel to Punch Out!! on the Wii.
