Scotty goldman / colt cabana

How good is this guy ? no im actually asking i never saw much of him but have read 2 or 3 interviews now of him saying wwe miss used him and therey ignorant and he could of been such a star ?

Surley its just sour grapes? or was he good on indie scene i dont know i dont follow it im asking youre opinoin

he wasn't marketable in the wwe in my opinion. He'd never make it big time but he had hip own style, which is probably hip downfall in a big company.

He's one of those guys with a comedy-based gimmick that is very marketable in the Indies where not many guys do it, but in WWE, it just screamed 'Jobber'. Having said that, he's a damned talented wrestler, but I think would have found it too hard to play a serious character to really get anywhere.

The WWE dropped the ball big time with Colt Cabana, I didn't like his Scotty Goldman name, although they could have played on the Gold part of his name, if the WWE put him on ECW and gave him time to develop his character he would have gotten over big time, he is extremely talented in the ring and has an infectious personality that would have gotten him over

Cabana also has serious history with CM Punk that isn't main stream so they could easily have played on more of this, only this time in the WWE

so he is ok but basically belives in his own hype?

You have to believe in your own hype when your good, he isn't like Reid Flair who thinks he is the next big thing in Wrestling because o fhis name, I also don't really have a clue how you could possibly have came up with that from what I said

I think he is probably more pissed off that he never got a chance when he knows he is more than good enough, not sure thats being up himself, just wishing he got the breaks less talented guys than him have got

Didn't he have a tryout match at TNA not so long ago? Or was that before Hogan came in?

Ive watched ROH for the past few months and he's a very funny dude, from what I've seen. They put him in with a jobber, a few weeks back, and the match was hilarious. But I've also seen a few technical matches and he's no slouch. I think Grecian's right, in that he would be seen as a Santino in WWE.

I'm a huge fan of Cabana and think he's one of the most natural guys on the stick in the business for comedy, hand on my heart I'd have him up there with the Rock for his mic work.
He has great history with Punk and he'd have been a great partner for someone like Bourne who also came from ROH yet is very weak vocally. A pairing of those two as faces v at the time Miz and Morrison in the tag division could have been gold.
