Joey Mercury Return would this work ?

Last night was thinking about how he will return. would this work getting him over and getting John back as heel

John Morrison is in a match against tyson kidd he picks the win up then DH Smith jumps in for the beat down Joey runs down for the save.

Next week theres a tag match Joey Mercury & John Morrison Vs Hart Dynasty Joey picks up the win

Next week Joey shows up again this time backstage and John not looking happy to see him Joey tells him how he signed a new contract with Smackdown and him and John can team up again

John is in a singles match for the intercontinental title Joey comes down to ring side as he is making his way down to ring side john takes his eye of the match and loses the match

The next smackdown a backstage segment John wishes joey good luck for his number one contendership match for the intercontinental title John cost Joey the match they argue in the ring then John beats down Joey he then grabs the mic and tells everyone that he was the reason Joey was let go by the WWE he forced Vince to let him go and didnt want him back letting John go singles action would be better showing the world that he is better than joey in both tag and singles and he doesnt want to drop out of singles action to team up with Joey again


The smackdown before a PPV John talks trash about Joey stating again he was the reason he was let go whilst John rose to stardom Joey comes out telling John they have a match at the next PPV but he cant wait till then and runs down the ring a they brawl to the back before John morrison gets away in a car and drives off

At the PPV they have a good match with some highspots to get the crowd going Joey picks the win up when Joey is celebrating John attacks him but as Joey fights back John bails out of the ring and goes to the top of the ramp taunting Joey.

or cm punk could just introduce him as the newest member of the straight edge society and explain his past addictions.works both ways

Mercury has a few possiablities for returning so Im hopeing for a half decent storyline

I think i would like to see them back as a tag team to get that division back to where it should be.

Morrison has had a push but nothing came of it (in my opinion) so it could be best teaming up again

No, as Mercury hasnt had enough time to fully cement himself as a babyface rather like what happened to escobar, Morrison needs to turn heel on someone like Taker, Rey or Christian if he stays on SD

You have Batista and CM Punk who are in the form of their lives, Jericho looking like he is going to win the World Title on Sunday and is a top heel, Drew McIntyre has been singled out as a guy who is going to the top

Thats four guys right away that are in front of Morrison, for me, beating the crap out of Joey Mercury, who the fans will find trouble caring about anyway wont do much for Morrison.

Now if MnM where a top face tag team then Morrison turning on Mercury might shock and piss off the crowd enough, not at this moment though.

If Morrison where to turn heel I think it would be better being done around someone the crowd care about, lets just say DX want to become stronger, they cut a promo about how they need to secure the legacy of DX, to make sure DX will live forever long after they are long gone, so they hand pick two guys to join, one each.

Triple H could choose Shaemus and Shawn Michaels could choose John Morrison, both Trips and HBK mentor these two guys, both have been successful in the past but HHH/HBK are making sure they are ready to be megastars

DX could be out cutting a big promo about how they are stronger, after the "ARE YOU READY" and the "IF YOU'UR NOT DOWN WITH THAT" Hunter could say to Shawn, "You know Shawn, someone ISN'T down with that" and when HBK looks confused and turns around he turns right into John Morrison's own version of Sweet Chin Music, laying HBK out cold while Morrison, Shaemus and Triple H all bat the life out of HBK (sending him off TV for a few months)

So while Shawn is away, Morrison can start using Sweet Chin Music as his 1st finisher, he can start being a jackass obnoxious, arrogant heel

I actually do kind of like Morrison as a Face. He's not the greatest at it, but I still think he can pull it off, and he's only gonna get better. I'd really like to see Cm Punk feud with Morrison, and then after a beat down from the SES, Punk could say he's got inside Morrisons head and bring out Mercury and introduce him as a new member, then that could leave Morrison in charge of a team to fight against the SES, and seeing as the amount of heat they get, which is amazing, with Morrison leading a group to oppose that would really cement him further as a Face.
