WM26: Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho?

What does everyone think about this possibility?

I think this could be something that while not exactly brand new could be fresh enough to really get the fans interested

How could it happen?

Well, Shawn would somehow need to get himself into the Elimination Chamber, if he does that then I'd like to see him pin The Undertaker, eliminating him and losing him his World Title, Chris Jericho would then pin Michaels, possibly after The Undertaker breaks back into the Chamber to distract Shawn, Jericho would become the new Champion of the World.

The Undertaker would then enforce his re-match clause with Chris Jericho at WrestleMania (This would be of course only if Edge decides to challenge the WWE Champion) Shawn Michaels would need to come out and claim that he is the rightful champion and had Jericho beat only for The Undertaker illegal interference, Teddy Long after much deliberation would concede that it was unfair, Taker gets his re-match, Shawn gets Taker at Mania, Jericho has a run with the belt and the fans get a different match at WrestleMania

What do you think?

Story wise is seems sound.

Thing is I despise triple threat matches, and chucking this much talent in one would be a huge huge waste I reckon.

Wouldn't say it would be a waste, however I know what you mean, I don't think I want to see it as it will mean Taker walking out of WrestleMania as the World Champion again, I just think its something they might do

i dunno i get tired of seing alot of 1 vs 1 title matches and tbh thats all i can see Raw's being this year,

maybe even a fatal 4 way: Jericho vs HBK vs Taker vs Edge, you would just add Edge with his rumble win.

you get the HBK vs Taker storyline mixed with Jericho vs Edge, but also the history of Edge vs Taker and Jericho vs HBK

this is giving me an idea for another article as well.......

also when was the last fatal 4 way at Mania? anyone know and has there ever been 1 for the title?

Wrestlemania 2000.

Big Show, Foley, Trips and The Rock I think.

They all had a McMahon in the corner.

Was an absolute pig shitter of a match.

Yeah their was one at WrestleMania XVI

Edge should be in a 1 on 1 at WrestleMania, the winner of the Royal Rumble should always be the one on one and should be closing the show

Always thought the best matches at WM have been for single matches, maybe the odd gimmick one tucked away nicely but stuff like triple threats and the like belong on normal PPV's.

I'm just a traditionalist prick really

with the natural wrestling talent of Big Show and Foley, no offence to them but i think a match between Edge/Taker/HBK/Jericho would be alot better.

storyline wise though towards the RR winner getting a #1 contender shot if Jericho wins at EC it's 99.9% likely it will be Jericho he chooses to face and by recent shows Edge wouldn't care about 2 other participants, as the storys been going he just wants to get his hands on Jericho.

on another note though if Edge does go for the WWE title:

Edge vs Orton....... i've wanted the fued for a long time (hold Ted vs Orton for Summerslam)

Edge vs Sheamus
Edge vs Cena
Edge vs Kingston
Edge vs DiBiase

so yeh only 2 i could see Edge going for WWE title are Orton or Triple H

Shawn michaels vs jericho vs Taker would be quality - what would happen for example of hbk pinned jericho - would taker's streak be intact?

Taker vs Edge vs Jericho and HBK vs HHH

It's shaping up to be a good Mania
