Major News: John Cena Suffering From Back Injury?

The word going around WWE is that John Cena is suffering from a back injury.

Reports indicate that Cena is suffering from a few bulging discs, which has created some discomfort. As nothing more about the reported injury, such as which discs are affected, has been released, the severity of the injury is hard to assess.

Nonetheless, it does appear that the back issue was responsible for WWE dropping plans to hold a John Cena vs. Sheamus match at the Royal Rumble.

Unless he goes into the Rumble and wins it which is a high possibility

but if plans are true on Triple H vs Sheamus and HBK vs Taker it means 1 of DX will win the rumble

Unless Sheamus attacks Cena during the Rumble and throws Cena over his shoulders onto a group of big superstars (such as Kane, Big Show, Kahli etc) for a "softer" landing?

Good point though but I really doubt that Cena would NOT be in either a world title match or the Rumble (if he does not take time off before then or they run a story where Cena is not performing well enough to even perform at a PPV).
