| Subject: Kip James and Cody Deaner gone? Tue Dec 29, 2009 9:26 pm | |

- It would appear that TNA has parted ways with both Kip James and Cody Deaner as their respective profiles were removed from the roster section on the company website this morning. However, nothing is official regarding their status with the company at this point.
As noted last week here on the website, Deaner was initially pegged to grab the "fired" briefcase in the "Feast or Fired Match" at Final Resolution last week, but officials had Sheik Abdul Bashir grab the case instead considering he was legitimately parting ways with the organization.
Regarding James, there have been rumblings that he was on his way out of TNA, but there has also been talk of utilizing him as a producer. These rumors have been around for several months now though. Taken from eWrestling news Couldn't see much to do for Cody Deaner after him winning the Knockouts title earlier in the year anyway so no great loss really

| With both of Sopp and James now released from TNA and DX now reformed in WWE (although that may not be for long if HBK is about to turn heel) I wonder what odds there is of them both turning up on RAW on a short term contract? | |

- I can now confirm that TNA has released former TNA Knockouts Champion Cody Deaner. He was removed along with Kip James from the TNA roster page several days ago. Hulk Hogan complained loudly to TNA management that Deaner's gimmick made the company look 'low budget'.

Is that any reason to get rid of him? Why don't they just take him off TV for a bit and repackage him? Or is that how Deaner looks outside the ring as well?

| I would love it if Deaner does a "Booker" and has "words" with Hogan over what he said . | |
