The stadiums for Englands World Cup bid are announced today at i believe 3 ish, which stadiums do you feel should be involved?

my list would be:

Wembley
Emarites stadium (due to likelyhood olympic stadium will have reduced capacity by then)
Old Trafford
St James Park
Stadium of Light
Villa Park
Leeds
Bristol City's new ground
Liverpool (even if its the current Anfield)
Derby
Nottingham Forrest new stadium
Birmingham

Four are in London: Wembley, Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, the 2012 Olympic stadium - which had its roof erected this week - and the ground Tottenham Hotspur are yet to build.

The other candidate cities, which made submissions in November, are Birmingham, Bristol, Derby, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Nottingham, Plymouth, Sheffield and Sunderland.

How big are the Bristol stadiums?

Bristol City's new stadium would be 36,000 or so but upgraded to 42,000 if they hosted WC games, tbh it's the best place to hold the WC games in the SW of England

Would you fill that normally, like for Bristol games?

im unsure, thing is we plan to be in the prem by say 2012/13, which is when the stadium would be completed i think so we would expect far higher attendances then we get now, plus the added factor it would be a new attractive stadium for people to watch football may attract some people. However i could see it being further reduced in size as i believe the way they have designed the stadium makes its capacity very flexible to choose

that isnt the final list though is it, the guy said Fifa will choose in 2013 or something the final list, thats just a list of stadiums that could host WC games and are candidates
